This life is filled with hurt When happiness doesn't work
Shia found himself in a pureblood street, why he was there was beside him, he needed new clothes for starters, or that was his excuse. For some things were getting even a bit to tight for him. Including what he had on now as he barely had his hand jammed its according pocket. His jacket was swung over his shoulder as he ambled down the street. They couldn't go and throw him out, and so he would just walk around to piss a few people off.
He sighed turning a found himself slamming into someone else, packeges dropped to the ground and Shia grunted at he stumbled backwards and quickly went to help pick the items up not even looking at the person's face. His hands began to gather things when his hand went over one the items his braclet slid down to his wrist. His hand stopped on the item as he wondered why he had put that on this morning, it wasn't like him to do that anymore. He had thrown it away, how had it gotten back on him? Vincent Shia mentally moaned. [/blockquote] <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Clothes;outfit Tagged; David Wales Thread; This...will be..epic Feeling; Excited.

David just needed some patches for his robes. Really, that was all he needed. It was an interesting story that involved doors and stupid people. Not that the hole in his robes looked good (it made him look intimidating. Well, more intimidating than he already did...). Twirling his wand between his fingers and holding a few packages of groceries in his right arm (he's left-handed), he began walking down the street in a casual, well-to-do manner.
As he was staring out at the shop windows with a very cool, bored manner someone had run into him. He feel to the ground and hit his bottom on the hard, paved floor. He bit his lip angrily and stood up. "What's your problem, huh? I'm walking here!" He said, frowning and beginning to look for whoever bumped into him. Groaning he saw that his packages were no longer where they were before, and now were sprawled on the ground. He crouched down and began picking them up with the other person there. David finally looked to see who had run into him and dropped the packages he had picked up. No...No... He thought constantly. David felt his head get lighter and he sat down out of shock. He can't...He... David didn't even bother to finish his thought. [/blockquote]

Shia wasn't thinking straight, that voice, it couldn't be. There was no way...in hell. Shia hand fell into a fist as he breathed out. His eyes raised to meet with ones he thought he would never see again. your alive Shia body jolted like a spasm as he nearly collapsed.
"...No...it..can't...be." Shia said out loud, he shook more, as things began to pour into his head, the night where he was in abused pain everything was coming back. His face distorted into terror, this was the one person Shia truly feared. He wanted to run and forget it, pretend it was a dream, but it was to late he was frozen to the ground in horror. A dark feeling flood his mind just then, and he became light headed. He tried to shake it off but, it made it worse.
Thats when Shia blinked out, fainting onto the streets. What would happen to him, only time could tell. [/blockquote]

David felt a lump in his throat and his temper flared. It is him...I...no... He stood up and faced Shia with his head up high. He looked him in the eyes and kept a firm grip on his wand. David didn't feel like taking any chances again with him. "It's happening, Shia. Trust me, I'm just as surprised as you are." David said cooly. He remembered their last fight, and his scars didn't exactly pain him to say, just... felt. He remembered they were there. Truthfully, David didn't know how to explain this feeling. He was filled with anger, but pity. Love, and hate. It was like he was going to explode almost. Shia began shaking and David braced himself, stepping his left foot back and bringing his wand up halfway. Shia fainted. "Shoot, kid." David muttered, taking out a cigarette and a small matchbox. He put his wand away and lit the cigarette, looking for a minute at Shia laying on the ground. Now what... He contemplated. He considered leaving him for a little bit, but decided against it and picked him up, wondering if he should bring him to his apartment. David canceled that idea and kicked open a door of the nearest store (Twillfit and Tattings). "Do you know where I can put the kid 'til he wakes up?" He asked one of the witches at the counter. "I saw what you did to this poor thing! I should report you..." The witch snarled at him, taking Shia from his grasp. "NO!" He cried, reaching out for Shia. He then coughed and puffed out a smoke ring. "He fainted, ma'm. Y'see..." David had to lie. "When I was little, my Dad beat me, y'see. And so I have trust issues. I had a run in with my Old Man today and my buddy here ran into me. It scared me, ma'm." He brought on the fake tears. "My Buddy here tried to calm me down, but he hadn't eaten all day, y'see. So he fainted...and, it's scary, ma'm" There was a small period of silence. "Poor dear!" The witch cried out, hugging David so it became a Shia sandwich. "Poor thing...oh, I have a room in the back. Here, take your friend and I'll fix you two a cuppa and some sandwiches." Playing along, David wiped away his tears and took Shia back into his arms. "God Bless you, Ma'm." He sobbed, trying not to laugh as the Witch brought him to the back where there was a little bed and table.[/blockquote]

Shia wasn't totally awake, he smelt smoke, it lingered around his nose. it reminded him of David. Shia head shifted with is eyes still closed. He was on a bed, but, it wasn't his he knew that. In a slight daze Shia opened his eyes, then they shot open and focused on someone in the room, watching him. David Shia shot up and back wards the back of his head smacking into the wall. He moaned and sank into a odd position."Damnit..." He mumbled rubbing his head and trying to focus.
He blinked and looked at David once again, trying to make himself stop shivering. He had to say something, anything."I thought....you quite smoking." Shia commented stupidly, but his voice betrayed his rushed thoughts, it was one of affection. Shia noticed drinks and sandwiches. "What...so you kidnapped me..." Shia eyes flashed with Vincent's, as both of them stared at the man. One horrified with fear and the other mad as hell. Shia found himself stuffing Vincent back. He could fight this on his own.
As he tried to stand he found he couldn't feel his legs and he toppled forward smacking into David. His hands automatically went out and took hold of David's shirt trying to stop the fall, but that sent David into the wall. Shia found his head planted into David's chest and he shuddered. He was shaking again."No..no...no.....n...." Shia just found himself breakdown into a fit. [/blockquote]

David sat in a chair near the window, smoking calmly as he waited for Shia to wake up. Stupid Kid. He thought gently, looking toward him. Frowning, he noticed that he was tossing a bit in his state. Shia looked troubled. No duh, Sherlock. David thought to himself. You're supposed to be dead, remember? Defeated, David admitted this was a good point to bring up for someone to freak out. Well, David was freaked out himself. Shia was there. David heard a smack and saw that Shia had hit against the wall. "Christ, Kid. You tryin' to kill yourself?" He whispered, standing up immediately and walking toward Shia. "Damnit..." He muttered. David gave a small laugh. "You alright? No blood, I mean." He squatted down next to Shia's bed and watched him for a second before Shia had mentioned that he thought David had quit. Looking down at his cigarette. "Oh yeah. Um. Sorry...I needed something. Smoking seemed the best. Why? Did you quit?" David was slightly ashamed that he had broken a promise to someone. "What...so you kidnapped me..." Shia had said. David laughed. "No, you fainted and I brought you into the nearest shop. It's not the epic story you'll want to write in your autobiography." David commented sarcastically, walking towards the window and blowing out another smoke ring. He turned to see Shia try to stand. "Hell, Kid. You only just woke up!" He said pitifully, walking over to him. Shia grabbed his shirt and he hit the wall. Cursing, he grabbed the back of his head. Lot of good that did... David thought, gritting his teeth. Soon after, Shia had his head planted into David's chest. He spread his arms out a little awkwardly until he felt Shia shake. "No..no...no.....n...." "Hey...Sh. It's alright. I'm not going to hurt you." David began to say, attempting to calm Shia down. He put his arms around him in a hug. "Hush, now. It's alright." WHAT.ARE.YOU.DOING? This "kid" nearly got you killed! Or don't you remember? His mind screamed. Calmly, he commented back. This "kid" is obviously not well. [/blockquote]

Shia didn't intially think about killing himself until David said it, that would actually be perfect timing to die. Shia shook his head feeling no blood at all, the only upside was that he shouldh ave hit his head a bit harder knock his brains out. As David admited to still smoking and then asked Shia himself. He looked away emabarrased."I..still do..time and again." He mumbled back.
As the moment came to a screeching dead weight, Shia felt arms go around him, arms he had missed so much. He couldn't have this, he had almsot killed him once, no Vincent had almost killed him. The fact of the matter was, Shia was terrified of David but now he, didn't want to lose him all over again. Shia calmed down slightly met David's eyes."..I..never...wanted you to die." He said softly a tear slipping down his fear ridden face. Then something hit him like a wave. Daniel Shia shot back pushing David's arms away and stood a few feet from him panting. "Why!..why! Why did you have to come back/"Shia sunk to his knees and clenched his fists, when he met David's eyes again, it was not longer the lost puppy. It was Vincent, and he was mad as hell could get. He pushed himself to his feet."You..how many times do you have to be killed to actually die you bastard!"Vincent's eyes had shifted they were like cold black ovals. [/blockquote]

David had watched Shia's response to the fact he wasn't bleeding, and David gave a mini sigh of relief. "Good." He said quietly with a small smile. "Yeah. It's hard to quit, ain't it?" David said with a quiet sigh. Looking Shia over, he noticed that he looked...ill. With a twinge of guilt, he realized it might be his fault. Poor kid must've stopped eating as much as he used to. He just...looked sick.
The feeling of Shia in his arms made it feel as if everything was perfect and still. The world stop, his scars were numb. Everything felt...ok. Brushing these feelings aside, he met Shia's eyes. "..I..never...wanted you to die." David gave a small smile and removed one of his hands to take out his handkerchief and brush away the tear. "I know, Shia. I know." He whispered quietly. "I didn't mean to hurt you, either...I..." David was cut off by Shia breaking free of his grip.
"What the hell is your problem?" David cried finally, then he laughed. "Oh, why did I come back? More like, why the hell did you run into me today, huh Kid? I wanted to be away from you. I knew that if I was away, no one would be hurt. But you had to run into me." He broke off, meeting Shia's eyes. The look in his eyes tugged at his heart and he sighed. "I really didn't come back because-"
"You..how many times do you have to be killed to actually die you bastard!" David pulled out his wand and held it up at Vincent's face. He knew this wasn't Shia because of his eyes. Eyes were the windows to the soul, after all...David's face pulled into a snarl as he circled Vincent with his wand up. "Apparently, not enough you Son of a-" David didn't finish, but continued circling. [/blockquote]

Vincent just smirked as David pulled out his wand, the past things were not signifigant now. Vincent crossed his arms and tilted his head."Its a shame..before Shia's little pet came along i controlled everything, then he started remeber you and we switched places!"
'Poor David, Shia wont tell you but i will. He has someone else sorry, if it wasn't for me this bracelet would have been in a garbage heap!" Vincent spat raising his arm and ripping of the bracelet.'Remeber? this was to cover my scar? after what you did to me i wanted to die! But no...i still loved you even after that! We both did!" Vincent's rage grew. He head dropped ang he began to laugh, demented and darkly."Then that day came where you pushed me over the edge...I come home to find you with someone else.... Vincent shook his head,"I went through hell....and look here you came back from the grave jsut to haunt me!" Vincent's eyes flashed, Shia was trying to make him stop but it wasn't any use. "Sad thing is, little Shia here is going back to like he use to be, innocent and lost." Vincent cursed as his eyes flashed again."So..tell me David how are those scarse treating you?" Vincent had just went as low as he could go. [/blockquote]

David paused for a long time after seeing the bracelet. He kept that? He thought, feeling a little empty. "H-His pet?" He said with a swallow. He felt a little lightheaded, but kept his wand up. David tilted his head a little to the right and gave a wicked smile. This is Vincent, He thought. You have to be hard, or your going to be hurt again. His scars gave a painful twinge, but David stood his ground. "I remember what the bracelet was for," David snarled. He looked down at the bracelet. "I can't forget." He trailed softly, before looking back up into Vincent's eyes. It was then that Vincent dropped his head and began to laugh, sending chills up and down his spine. He continued to talk about how he had been hurt. He brought up Claire, and that felt like the final straw. "And you feel like every single thing was my fault?" David shouted, lowering his wand. "What about what you did? Refusing to get help. Hurting yourself. Do you even give a rat's hide on how that affects people around you? You tried to be strong, but you needed help. That hurts everyone, Vincent. Not just you and Shia. I got sick of you trying to hurt yourself." David stopped, rocking back and then continued. "Sick of it. I left you because...I thought that if I left...you'd get help. You'd want to get help." Repeating the same phrase he had told himself years ago now sounded stupid to even himself. "And I found her. Claire. The one you saw me with. She-She was a family friend. She k-knew. About you, about everything. I got drunk. We...We..." David stopped. He didn't know how to explain what had happened. Finally, he turned and punched a wall. "Don't think I'm not regretful. Because I am." He finished, his back to Vincent. "I went through hell....and look here you came back from the grave just to haunt me!" David stopped and began laughing. "I'm haunting you?" He finished. Looking over his shoulder, he saw Vincent's eyes flash briefly. Shia... He thought weakly, turning around. "So..tell me David how are those scarse treating you?" "You bastard." He said, his scars twinging in pain as he began to limp towards Vincent and threw a punch at his jaw, wand forgotten.[/blockquote]

Vincent snickered."Hes quite cute....has alot of traits you use to have, only one difference he just like 'us' he killed someone...and somehow stmbled onto Shia's doorstep, it was so cute to see Shia as himself again. Especially when he carried the guy to his room..." Shia cut the sentence off as if he didn't feel like going on.
Vincent's eyes flashed again, that memory was good and bad all at the same time."How dare you! Wnat to know why i didn't get help? Because if i would have it would have jeopardized you, i wanted you to have a future...and, i was afraid to be sent to Azkaban." that last sentence had been Shia, he had gotten something through. Vincent stamped a foot and his eyes darkened more. Vincent watched David punch the wall still the same temper
When the punch connected Shia stayed rooted, his head dropped slightly but at the corner of his mouth a grin, a toothy snake like grin came into view."So are you going to start beating me again? Like you always did? When got frustrated." Vincent head raised, some blood trickled down his face but not from him, it was from David, after he had punched the wall. Vincent touched the blood let some run down his hand. Then it happend, Vincen'ts own eyes filled with terror. He frantically tried wiping the blood off but for some reason his sight was getting blurry. "Get..it off!" He screeched.
"I-I don't want to remeber." Vincent grabbed his head trying to surpress the flowing memories. [/blockquote]

"Shut up." David whispered, trying to not hit Vincent again. He clenched his fist and relaxed them constantly. He tried not to remember. Oh God, he tried. Whoever this guy was, he should be glad he made Shia happy. But he couldn't be. After all this time... "How can I have a future if I was dead?" David snarled. He looked Vincent in the eyes. The Azkaban idea was a good point. Shia wouldn't survive in Azkaban, at all.
When David had punched Vincent, he took seconds to realize what he had done. He looked down at his knuckles, noticing he was bleeding. He gave a small 'hmpf' of interest out of the sight and looked to Vincent. "So are you going to start beating me again? Like you always did? When got frustrated." David snorted. "You mean when you acted like an ass? No. But I will treat you like a man and beat the snot outta you if you bring up a sensitive subject like my scars, plus now I know you can fight back." He growled, glaring at Vincent. Vincent's eyes filled with terror when he saw the blood. That was something David had never seen, ever. Tentatively, he took a step towards Vincent but hold himself back. "Yeah, that's the blood you shed." David said, frowning at him. Deep down somewhere, he felt a twinge of regret for saying that. Picking up his wand, he stuck it into his pocket casually. "I-I don't want to remember." Vincent had started. David took a step forward, in an attempt to aide him. Then, realizing who he wanted to help he stayed back. Go help him. David's conscience told him sternly. He needs you. No. Another part thought. He's got that new man now. Why should I bother?[/blockquote]

"Does that bother you? That Shia just might not feel the same way for you anymore? You know hes afraid of you."
"You wouldn't have been dead! If you would have stopped saw what had happend to my mind! You should have seen something was different! And let me give you this...your still alive."
Vincent smiled again, he could have done alot worse to that body of David's if it hadn't been for Shia butting in at that last moment. Vincent anger flared again."Again..it was always me wasn't it? You don't even remember..you never remebered! You got drunk and after you finished beating the shit out me you passed out!" Vincent crossed his arms staring darkly into the floor."You don't even remeber the day you got me drunk do you? Vincent spat disgusted with the man he had once been with.
Vincent froze at that comment and he let go of his head. He looked up looking at the blood trickling down David's hand. A flash in his eyes occured."i..tried to stop the bleeding, but...it was to much...i was covered in it..your blood."
Vincent agnrily wipped his head away."Stay out of this you idiot....if you hadn't gone and saved him he would have actually died!" Vincent screeched at the air."If you don't stop interefering with me, I will kill that pretty eyed pet of yours too. Or even better get him to kill himself right infront of our eyes, you know how much he wants to die." The last of the light that was Shia faded.
Vincent stood straight again."Those scars...are a mermory that will stick with you for the rest of your life." Vincent paused his eyes shifting from a anger to almost a saddness."But so will mine. Let me show you what you don't remeber." Vincent turned his back facing David, as he lifted hsi shirt. Anyone else would have thought that he had fallen from a tree, with the deep set bruises that could take years to heal, they weren't scars, but just as bad."Half of this is from the night i tried to get the achohol out of the house." Vincent dropped his shirt again and turned."Your not even worth killing anymore." [/blockquote]

"Of course it bothers me, jerkwad. You would know, wouldn't you?" David grunted, leaning against the wall and tracing his fingers in the blood that was welling up into the creases between his knuckles. It was a low blow, yes, but necessary. That was how David stopped the hurt- he made someone else hurt. It was how he learned how to deal with things.
"Again..it was always me wasn't it? You don't even remember..you never remembered! You got drunk and after you finished beating the shit out me you passed out!" That was when David snapped. "You think I don't remember? I sure as hell remembered, every.single.day. The way you would look at me in fear, how you flinched whenever I stretched. Sometimes when I woke up and saw your cuts and bruises." David shuddered.
"You know what it's like to feel the pain, but to cause it and not remember. It hurts just as much." David said shakily. When Shia appeared, he jumped off the wall and edged toward him, only to have Vincent take over again. "Hey, let the kid have a say, yeah? Jack-hide." David cried out, before leaning against the wall again to glare at Vincent.
To be truthful, David was fearful when Vincent had threatened to kill him. It was true, he had considered ending his life a couple of times. But he knew that if it was up to Vincent, it wouldn't be something like a gunshot or a simple killing curse. It would be so much worse. So, So much worse.
When Vincent turned and showed the bruises that David had left, he shuddered inwardly. They looked as if Vincent had been nearly mauled to death by something like a hippogriff. He looked away. "I-I. I can't. I don't know." David finished lamely. He couldn't think. "You're not even worth killing anymore." Vincent said...and David couldn't help but agree. [/blockquote]

"Well that was a blow....to bad I don't havea heart anymore." Vincent retorted.
Vincent flinched at David's words."I...why didn' you just quite drinking... Vincent asked softly now his eyes had relaxed. He wanted to know how he had meant anything to David, when David hadn't tried.
Vincent couldn't help but shake his head."Its nice to see you still love the kind side of me. However it was this side you first met."
He saw the fear in David as he mentioned killing Daniel, he had not said the name outloud because Shia's emotions spilled into his own. So he avoided and affection toward the annoying person.
Vincent sighed softly. His eyes resting on his wrist, he put the bracelet back on then and simply closed his eyes. He breathed out several times and then re-opened them. Vincent cleared the space that had been placed between him and David and took hold of one of the man's hand palstering it above his head. Vincent looked down only for a secound then set a glare on David."I forgave you a long time ago for waht you did. I blamed the achohol not you, so don't blame yourself for that anymore.....it was my fault." Vincent whispered. [/blockquote]
