"Yeah, lucky you." David grumbled, taking his robes and wiping off the blood coyly. David wouldn't believe that Shia- or Vincent wouldn't have any feeling any more. He looked Vincent in the eyes to see them soften a little. "I...why didn' you just quite drinking..." [/color] Vincent said, and David gave him a "really?" sort of look. "Hell, kid. It was fun. I loved it. It...it made me feel like I could do anything I wanted. It was like quitting smoking was for you. It's an escape plan." David said with a shrug. He still drank a bit, but tried to not have it be as often anymore. "Plus, it was too hard. Trying to quit while I had lots of other stuff on my plate." He said finally with a small frown. "I know I first met this side." David said sternly. "It was...interesting, to say the least." He said, stepping carefully around the subject. He watched Vincent place the bracelet on and slowly took a few breaths himself. He didn't know what the bracelet still on even meant. As he went through what it could mean, he felt... frustrated. David looked at their hands, then to Vincent. "How was it your fault? I was the one who drank constantly. I should have listened..." He trailed away, remembering that only a half hour ago they were blaming the other person for what happened. [/blockquote][/size]

Vincent nodded feeling like he understood some of it."Can, I atleast ask why i as your stress toy." Vincent stressed the word toy because he meant just more then himself being for a beat up doll, heh had been a bit more then that.
Vincent smiled nicely for the first time and blinked."Meeting you was interesting to Marky."Vincent normally called David that when they had jsut been friends. He tilted his head sighing.
With their fingers intertwined Vincent finally admitted something."I could have talked to you about it. Maybe even got you into a place to get you help.Vincent squeezed David's hand."I am still lonely puppy....i guess i have returned to my master."Vincent looked up his emotions had shifted again, his eyes were lighter, almsot liek Shia's but something had went wrong, Shia and Vincent didn't realize that they were melding back together and which ever one controlled the body when all was said in done, was the true holder. David felt a little more relieved when Vincent had nodded. "I guess because you were the only one around when I was drunk." David admitted slowly, looking Vincent in the eyes. He would never admit it, but to him Vincent was becoming more and more passive as the conversation went on.
David liked that, and felt his heart skip a beat when Vincent smiled nicely. The feeling dulled a little out of habit from all these years, and he flinched when he was called "Marky" by Vincent. "I haven't been called that in a while." David admitted with a laugh. "It feels nice, hearing it from you." He muttered quietly, blushing.
"I wouldn't have listened." David said quietly, and he knew it was true. "You know me. I would have just gone on drinking." He looked down at their hands again.
"I am still lonely puppy....i guess i have returned to my master." [/color] "And the master realized how stupid he was, and only wants forgiveness." David admitted, feeling a little stupid saying that. Looking into Vincent's eyes, he noticed something weird about his eyes. "Are you feeling...OK?" David asked. "Your eyes." He stated simply. Vincent wavered."There were days, i was glad you did those things, because it meant that you weren't going to up and leave me to fend for myself."
Vincent just nodded when hearing David say about the rehab and trying to help him.And the master realized how stupid he was, and only wants forgivenessVincent smiled again but began to frown, his eyes. He let go of David's hand and blinked. Then he wrenched back, one of his eyes shifted back to the black oval like color."What the helll is goingon with me." It was patchy, Shia and Vincent had just talked together. Vincent stopped."Am i...losing my self?." Shia finished. His hand went to his forehead as a headache blasted through him. "Ugh.. He moaned with annnoyance. [/blockquote]

"Why would I have left you?" He asked, more to himself than to Vincent. Even though he had treated Vincent/Shia like crap, he could never picture leaving him alone in the world. David let go of Shia, and watched horrified as one of his pupils turned the black color of Vincent's while the other was Shia's. What's happening? What do I do? [/b] He began to think, now afraid of what could happen to him. Hearing the two speak together tingled David's spine. It was frightening to hear the two speak together after them being so far apart, the childish voice of Shia's and the frightening tone of Vincents. Once Shia had stopped speaking and put his hand to his forehead, David went toward him and wrapped him in his arms. Unknown to the two of them, the Witch had entered levitating a tray of tea and sandwiches and with her other hand dabbing at her eyes. "That was...That was SO BEAUTIFUL!" She sobbed, hugging the two of them. She started rambling then about how it reminded her of her husband Ralph, and how she missed him. "Thank you boys, Thank you." She continued sobbing, putting the tea tray on the bed and shuffling out. Once the door was closed, David muttered disgusted: "She probably cried into the tea..." [/blockquote][/size]

"Any number of reasons, you got tired of me, felt like doing something else or just because."
Shia became frightened as he felt himself being pin ponged between himself and vincent. When arms came around him he felt the ping pong paddles stop. He breathed a sigh of relief, but stiffened as the witch came and hugged them both and began blubbering. when she finally left Shia tilted his head at the tead."..I think she might be a pervert....." Shia said comically. He blinked and looked at David. He didn't feel his heat quicken in fear, it was still there, but very sutle. Though pain rose shortly after, he was letting himself be drawn in again, what about Daniel..what if this was jsut a game, a very sick game. [/blockquote]

David didn't respond to Shia's reasons but just kept silent and continued holding onto Shia. The warmth of his body against David's comforted him greatly, and let a small sigh escape. There was something in the way Shia looked at him that David knew meant that he was somehow helping him. Truly, that was all he needed to know.
The hug from the witch caused David to smile and laugh quietly once he felt Shia stiffen. "It's ok, she's a friend." He told him, patting his back slowly. "..I think she might be a pervert....." Shia said in a way that made David laugh out loud. "Maybe, but she brought us food." He said simply, gesturing to the sandwiches. He let go of Shia and walked slowly towards the bed where the sandwiches were and picked one up. "You want one?" He asked Shia, turning to him and brandishing said sandwich.

Shia took the sandwitch but raised an eyebrow.'I swear if she used this to wipe her tears.... He bit into it and found it perfectly fine and ate half ot it in a matter of minutes."..Honestly i never imagined...our meeting to be like this... Shia commented taking some tea, as he sipped it his face flushed. He looked at it."How much sugar did she put in this?" He commented, enjoying it but finding it like a kids delight.
Shia sighed softly and wondered how the heck he had mangaged to in one day meet someone he was suppose to have killed, and be standing here drinking tea and eating a sandwitch.god he had a messed up life. Shia foudn himself jsut staring into space wondering how he was going to go home without thinkign about the fact David was alive every waking moment. [/blockquote]

David laughed at Shia's concern that the Witch had used the sandwich to wipe away tears. "Maybe just that one." He said with a wink, snatching one up and scarfing it down. He had been so hungry when he left his apartment because he figured he could have just stopped by somewhere to get food while he was out getting what he needed. "Don't eat to fast, kid." David said with a small sigh, "Cause if you get sick, I'm sure as hell NOT picking it up."
David pondered for a moment. "I know what you mean. I pictured the end result in both of us repeating our last little...get together..." He said, his face giving a slight twitch as he rubbed his scar. Pouring himself some tea, he took a sip and put the cup down. "Too much, in my opinion" David said, coughing. He didn't like really sweet things, but Shia did. "You can have the tea. Unless it's caffeinated. I'm not sendin' ya back to school hyper....Why aren't you in school, anyway?" [/size]

Shia just laughed and bit into the sandwitch again."Still worred about me even now...." Shia commented smiling behind the sandwitch. As another slience swept through the room, Shia felt a bit ackward about hte whole subject because he, didn't remember most of it, Vincent was the one who remembered it explicdly. "Yea..."Was all Shia managed.
Then he laughed at the comment about the tea."Whats wrong with me being hyper..hmmmm?"He remebered the last time he had gotten serverly hyper, he had nearly killed himself. [/blockquote]
