Zane sat in the courtyard on one of the stone benches, he wasn't particularly cold even with a light snowfall on the ground. He tugged on the bear eared beanie, smirking at his own outfit. He personally loved that hat, it was some how immature and adorable all at the same time.

He sighed crossing his arms and staring into the sky with mild focus, having days off was normal for him, and sense he had nothing better to do, might as well admire the sky, maybe even read a little, with that in mind a book appeared in his hand just then.Romeo and Juliet the small maroon book was engraved on its side with that title. It was a special version, it wasn't adapted at all.

He flipped open to a random page and began to read, mostly out loud and some to himself. This little game off of and on reading was what Zane did with all his poets and play writes, he even acted some times pacing back and forth his hand waving in the air displaying anger or jealousy. If anyone stumbled upon him they may not recognize him, he was dressed almost more like a sixth year then a teacher. The bear beanie didn't help either.

Kaleb sighed, as he had nothing to do. or should that be no one he amended silently, a smirk rising to his lips. He wondered where he could go. Given the cold weather, he guessed there was probably still snow on the ground. Girls liked snow, so it made sense for some of them to be outside taking a look at all the pretty white snow on the ground. So it made sense for Kaleb to be outside looking at the girls looking at the white snow on the ground. With that thought he jumped up from his bed and pulled off the pyjamas he’d been wearing. Pulling on his skinny jeans, he surveyed himself in the mirror. He would leave his hair messy, but it was not a complete mess, but just enough to look hot. Glancing around, he pulled out his micky mouse t-shirt from his trunk and pulled it over his head. It was one of his favourites, carrying the slogan ‘are you taking the Mickey’ on the front of the tee. His next task was to pursue the nice warm jacket that he had, so he didn’t freeze his perfect toes off. He pulled it on, but didn’t do it up, leaving his tee visible.

Next he searched his messy trunk, finding at last his converse. He pulled them onto his feet, and checked himself once in the mirror, just to make sure he looked as good as possible. Even though it was almost impossible for him to look anything other than good. He was too damn hot! He smirked at this thought, wondering what girls would fall at his feet today. Speaking of his feet, they carried him up the winding stairs and into the entrance hall. Pulling the doors open, a gust of wind hit his face, ruffling his hair a little. perfect he thought, as surely the wind made his hair only that much better. Heading down the steps, he avoided the gaze of some chick. He’d been there before, and never again, she seemed a little crazy to him!

Kaleb made a beeline for the lawns, stopping a few feet short of some sixth year in a beanie hat. He didn’t recognise him, and wondered what house the kid was in. He didn’t seem like a Slytherin, and the book in his hands made it clear he’d gotten that right. Romeo and Juliet. Maybe Romeo needed to take some tips from Kaleb! He took a seat next to the dude, looking out. He’d read it once, just to see what one of the most famous lovers was like. ”What light through yonder window breaks. Tis the east, and Juliet is my sun”

[/color] kaleb said dramatically, chuckling at the end of what he’d said. ”Shame that doesn’t work any more, it’d make things so much easier for me”[/color] He smirked, as it wasn’t like he needed things any easier! That had been the only sentence that he really remembered other than the real famous ones![/size][/blockquote]

Zane was jsut to his favorite part when someone started to read what he was reading, he blinked and turned his head to see non other then Kaleb Garcia, one of his annoying students, wrinkling his nose Zane realized that Kaleb wouldn't see right off that he was indeed his teacher.

"Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief,
That thou her maid art far more fair than she" Zane continued, but the book was already closed when he began quoting, he knew half the book by heart.The way he said it made it come to life as if the play was now plaing out infront of him."I have never tried using those lines before." Zane replied then, the book vanishing in his hands.

"I am guessing you have? Dear Romeo?" Zane said a cocky smile on his face. He was teasing Kaleb like he would if he was still a student, because it was much easier to talk that way. His own age didn't matter for he really wasn't that old.

"I am more Juilet i believe, afterall all of the famous plays were played entirely by men back then."Zane continued rambling about the book, diving deeply into its secrets and hidden meanings. Zane's hand went to his hat again tugging on one of the ears. Zane didn't hate Kaleb sure he annoyed him, but he had to think as a non teacher peer not a domintating figure, so starting new Zane found he didn't mind the Slytherin's company. Then of course Zane hadn't been his normal self for quite a while he could ned up doing something stupid, like flirting without knowing he is doing so.

Kaleb raised his eyebrows at what the kid said next. He had no idea what he was on about, but he was sure that he was just quoting from the play. He slightly recognised the dude, but he didn’t know why. He pitted it down to just seeing him in the corridor some time, and his face must have stuck in his memory for some reason. ”Yeah sure, I have no idea what you just said, but I’ll go with that”

[/color] Kaleb said with a chuckle. It was all gibberish to him, he only remembered the last line because, well he didn’t know why actually, but it stuck in his memory. He was pretty sure he’d seen the play once too, but it was a long long time ago, way back in his first year, he guessed. He shrugged his shoulders, not really caring.

”Yeah, once, still got the imprint of her palm on my chest. Not nice”[/color] He said, wrinkling his nose. The incident was actually quite funny. He’d been a little bit drunk when he’d said it, and she’d randomly walked past when he said that then proclaimed his, albeit nonexistent, love for her. She had returned his sentiment with a nice big slap on the chest, he’d winced, and she’d walked away smiling. Not a good experience, but a rather funny one! ”And don’t call me dear, dude, that sounds creepy. I don’t swing that way, you get me?”[/color] He said pointedly, just making sure the kid knew that he was straight. ”Yeah, and especially don’t call me Romeo and then you Juliet. Besides, I think I’m more like a completely straight Casanova.”[/color] He said, adding in the straight part just encase Casanova happened to like a bit of everything.[/size][/blockquote]

Zane laughed at Kaleb's confusion, and simply quoted another line. am too bold, 'tis not to me she speaks:

He stopped short and stared at Kaleb at his next comment.imprint? He mumbled to himself and shook off the thought, it was slightly funny though. Then he laughed out loud at Kaleb's comment."All is true...fine what do i call you then?" Zane asked his eyes sparkling mischievously. He was playing the part, because he would rather not admit who he was yet.

"You know that really hurt." Zane said sarcastically placing his hands on over his heart. He pouted and then dropped what he had just done and waved Kaleb off."for a Casanova you look kinda lonely..tsk tsk." Zane commented quietly, feeling like he had been insulted with the straight comment, he didn't show it but it certainly bothered him.

Kaleb raised an eyebrow as he quoted more Shakespeare. ”Sorry, dude, that’s lost on me, I have no idea what that means!”

[/color] He laughed a little, wondering what the two stars were meant to represent. He shifted a little closer to the guy, wondering who he was. He still hadn’t managed to place his face, and it was bugging him now. He tried to look properly at the guy without staring, but it was pretty hard to do. He’d introduce himself, but it would spoil his little game. No, Kale was quite content with guessing who this dude was, and he would find out, no matter what it took to do so.

”call me…Casanova, no wait, Romeo!”[/color] He said laughing at the comment, before continuing, extending his hand toward the guy. ”Kaleb, or Kale if you like, I don’t particularly care.”[/color] He said with a shrug. He answered to either of those names. He’d also taken to answering to certain insults recently, thanks to some girl who didn’t like it when he walked away the next morning. It was her fault for trusting him, or at least that was what he told himself. He looked sideways as the guy said he was hurt. ”Oh, wait, you, like, swing that way?”[/color] Kaleb asked awkwardly. He wasn’t prejudiced, it was just that his father disliked it, and in a way it had influenced him, although he didn’t tend to hold it against people. He just made the previous comments because he thought it was a bit odd that a straight guy was calling himself Juliet, and Kaleb Romeo.

Kaleb shrugged off the last comment, running his hand through his hair. The lack of women did make it hard to find someone to keep him company. helll maybe I should turn to the guys he joked silently, knowing that he wasn’t that type of guy. Although he had been curious as to whether kissing a guy would be any different to a chick. ”All the good girls learned long ago that I spell trouble, too late, as they’d already been in my bed though”[/color] He added with a smirk. And that was true, although the reason they had learned he wasn’t good news was because they’d been in his bed, and then been left in the morning without hardly a goodbye kiss.[/size][/blockquote]

"Don't worry most of it i don't understand either.." Zane admitted shrugging with little effort. As Kaleb shifted closer, even though it was just a small gesture, Zane felt pricks run up his spine. crap Zane thought and couldn't shift his position as Kaleb stared at him.

Zane took Kaleb's hand, and found it contrastingly warm against his own, Zane hadn't noticed the cold until up to this point, and a small shiver shook him."Nice to meet you Kale." Zane said dropping his hand, he couldn't blow it now! He found Kaleb staring at him again with the question that Zane was uncomfortable answering."..I..really don't know...yet." Zane was telling the truth, he still didn't know his standings, because he didn't know anything about it, and it killed him sometimes, but he would just bare with it.

As Kaleb went onto something else Zane wondered how he would ever know how he felt truly, it wasn't as easy as that. Zane's ears perked up and he turned to Kaleb again and tilted his head as if curious"So is that why you are a lone wolf at the moment?" Zane couldn't help but wonder about this kid, was he really that bad?

Kaleb laughed as he admitted to not understanding it either. ”Yeah, it’s like gibberish, I guess the only one who really understood it was Will.”

[/color] He laughed again, and for some reason he was glad he didn’t look like a fool in front of this guy. He only really cared when it was women usually, but then that wasn’t the only odd thing either. When he’d shuffled that little bit closer, he felt Goosebumps on his arms, crawling up them like a sign of something. He didn’t quite know what though, at least he didn’t know yet.

”Well, I don’t do relationships. They’re not my thing”[/color] He said, smirking on the last few words. And that wasn’t a lie. He didn’t do relationships until he was sure he’d found the one who would change his life forever, then he’d be the most committed man alive. But that was how Kaleb worked, he needed to know that this was the right girl for him first, and the one nighters just filled the time. He liked it that way though, he’d learned a lot of skills from the chicks he’d been with! He remembered Vicky in the bathroom, and he licked his lips unconsciously.

Kaleb shuddered at the cold of the dudes hand, and nodded in response. ”here’s where you tell me what to call you, unless you’re keeping it a secret”[/color] he winked, laughing after he spoke. ”Oh so your what, curious?”[/color] He asked him, wondering if he was being to nosey for his own good. But hell, the guy didn’t need to tell him if he didn’t want to huh? It was his choice to spill the beans.[/size][/blockquote]

"Well he did write it after all...i think he was on drugs..." Zane joked finding himself shifting closer as well, it was a thing he didn't even notice that he did. the feeling going through Zane's veins bothered him, why couldn't he place it?

"I guess i can say the same, looking for the right person i guess...." Zane said softly finding it hard to believe that he had said half the stuff he had, to someone he really didn't know outside the classroom. Zan was about to add something to his comment when he saw Kaleb lick his lips. Zane felt more pricks up his spine. That shouldn't make him feel strange but it did, that small gesture made him shudder within.

Zane blinked, what was he suppose to say."I'll just keep you guessing." Was what came out of his mouth before he thought it through, it sound like something you would say if your flirting, Zane realized this and his face went pink slightly as his eyes darted to anything other then Kaleb."M-..maybe" Zane stammered still not recovered from his stupid answer.

Kaleb laughed again as he mentioned the drugs. ”Yeah I bet he was actually, High as a kite”

He could hardly imagine William Shakespeare getting high off drugs then spouting all this crap that no-one could understand but himself. ”Yeah, where the hell do they hide them, eh?”[/color] He laughed, gently nudging the dude as he spoke. Why was he telling this random guy what he wanted, what he was looking for, why he was alone?

”Ahh, well guess I shall, William, perhaps?”[/color] He suggested, laughing again. It seemed odd to Kaleb, but he was pretty sure that they were flirting! He, Kaleb Garcia was flirting with a guy! Well, there was a first time for everything, and he figured that there was no one around, so who cared? He smirked a little as the blush rose in the guys cheeks. He even could make guys blush, he seriously had some talent! He knew that he could make chicks swoon and stuff, but he’d just figured out it basically worked on guys too. Not that he’d be testing that much. He decided he’d treat it as if he was just with a girl.

Kaleb turned to face the guy, and raised his hand to the boy’s cheek, brushing the tips of his fingers along it gently. ”Your blushing, for me?”[/color] He asked, biting his bottom lip. Was he going crazy? But then flirting with a guy, it was something that would royally piss his daddy dearest off should he want to use it in their next little fight, so he was in. He’d have a little flirt and a laugh, and then say his goodbyes. It was basic, simple, he didn’t even need to change his tactics, flirting seemed to come naturally to Kaleb, no matter what gender his target was.[/size][/blockquote]

"Yea a kite in a thunderstorm!" Zane commented back joining in the laugh."I know, why aren't they sharing." Zane replied laughing again. This was better then it should be.

Zane nodded with a grin, but noticed that he was defiantly flirting now, He ad somehow gone into that mode without recalling it. Heck what was new when it came to his stupid life and figuring things out anyhow? Zane did not see the next part coming as he felt Kaleb's touch his face deepened in color. How was it that this was happening to him! How! Did he get himself into theses messes!

"N-n-no" Zane hated how his voice sounded, powerless and confused. He had to get a hold of this before he let something happen! Instead of pushing Kaleb away as planned one of his hands went to Kaleb's chest and he leaned closer."Whats makes you blush?" Were these even Zane's words? He was going nuts, he was letting this guy get the best of his weakness, dang it all!

Kaleb smirked at the image of a kite in the wind, and it caused him to laugh again. He wondered what it would feel like, to ride on the wind, letting it take you wherever it wanted to, and then you’d wind up in some random place, that you’d never been too. A part of Kaleb wished that he could be that kite on that wind, ending up in some remote place where he could start again. The thing with the Kaleb people saw was that it was all expectation. He knew what everyone expected of him, and he lived up to it. From the expectations of his father to what his fellow Slytherin’s believed about him. It was all like a mask though, no one knew the real him. Hell, he didn’t even know if he knew the real him any more! He’d been hidden carefully under false pretences, and part of him hated who he’d become. But it was who he needed to be to survive. ” Yeah hell, I bet he had some fun!”

[/color] Kaleb laughed. He’d never been high, though he’d thought about illegal drugs, he had chosen alcohol instead, it was easier to get!

”Because they’re mean and don’t want us to be happy?”[/color] He asked, biting on his lip again. Had he said to much? He tended to give off the impression that he was entirely happy, but it wasn’t completely true. He was happy, yes, when he was drinking, or with some chick, but when that was taken away, he couldn’t be as happy as then. The drink, the sex, it was like his escape. He needed it. The reason he was so unhappy? His father. His dad was a mean controlling man, who kept himself tied to kale’s mother, breaking her pride a little each time he went to bed with another woman. Kaleb supposed it was his father he got his charms from, and although he didn’t want to be like him, it had just happened. All Kaleb really wanted was attention, and the drink, the sex, and the obnoxious behaviour was his means of getting it.

Kaleb didn’t even notice slipping into the flirting mode anymore, it came so naturally to him that it was rather scary. His experience was clear, as he didn’t blush once. Not much could make him blush, it was a hard thing to do. A smile tugged at the corner of Kaleb’s mouth, pulling it into his sexy smile that usually got all the girls swooning. ”Really?”[/color] kaleb questioned , his eyebrows raised, and his small smirk played on his lips. He took a sharp intake of breath at the next thing, as he didn’t expect it. He felt the guys hand on his chest, he wasn’t that far away. Kaleb was almost sure that he could hear his heartbeat, that little bit faster, and so the guy could probably hear it too. Was he going crazy? Would he really be able to push himself to this length to annoy his father? But there was something else too, as excitement was coursing through his veins at the touch from the boy. He didn’t quite understand. ”That does”[/color] He mumbled, feeling the heat rush to his cheeks turning them a light shade of pink.

Zane laughed with him, he had what might be the same image as Kaleb, floating throug the wind goign places seeing people. Maybe finding the one. Unless Zane couldn't help but let his mind chew on the thought of, what if I already have? Zane shook the thought off and laughed at Kaleb's comment, I bet he did!

"Definatly, come on you always have mroe fun on drugs." Zane agreed nodding his head. Course other then achohol Zane had never done any drugs, it wasn't really something he wanted to do, people got really screwed that way. Znae found what made him happy was honest things, well and a good cup of wine with a book too. Zane admited he had done some pretty dumb things but, was learnign from them bit by bit. He just had to find a way to get through this first.

As Kaleb voice entered Zane's head again, his blush intensified."..I-I..don't..k-know." Zane replied unsure of how he felt about this, the face he was letting someone younger then him take advantage, made him realize how weak he was. But soon something shot through Zane's veins that made him forget his worries. As he saw Kaleb blush he couldn't help but his own sexy smirk grace his lips. He leaned closer his breath mixing with Kaleb's own. "You look better with that face..." Zane commented. His lips barely two inches away from Kaleb's. His eyes staring into his deep brown ones. Zane wasn't sure how this was happening all the sudden he had went from just talking to being all over this guy. Was it because he wasn't use to it?

Kaleb smirked as he imagined Will getting up to a bunch of crazy stuff when he was high. It would have been awesome just to be there, and see what he did, followed him around and actually found out whether the rumours about Will’s sexuality was true. He’d heard rumours that good old William liked men too, and that he even wrote about a male lover in one or two of his sonnets. It had been something he had been told once when he was trying to hop into bed with some book worm. He’d listened intently, trying to make her happy and think that he wasn’t an asshole, which in fact was exactly what he was. And now he was a confused asshole. Kaleb had never experienced any feelings for any one but a woman before, and now part of him was thinking of kissing this random guy. ”I wouldn’t know, drugs aren’t my thing either. Alcohol is my poison”

[/color] he winked at the guy, a smirk on his face. He’d drink anything, anything with a kick to it!

Kaleb swallowed hard, now acknowledging a little something that was telling him to pull the guy closer. He couldn’t think properly, he couldn’t reason with himself, he couldn’t understand! Something rose within him as he saw the smirk that had plastered on the lips of the guy. And then he was taken. He couldn’t take his eyes from the guys lips. He managed to pull them away from his lips and met the guys eyes. “Yeah, so I’ve, uh, been told”[/color] He said, still clearly distracted. His stomach flipped over as he felt his own breath mix with the breath of the stranger. He was hardly two inches away, and Kaleb couldn’t resist whatever he was feeling any longer. He growled quietly, his hands finding the back of the mysterious strangers head, and he pulled his lips to his, crushing them to his, and the feeling in his stomach calmed down.

Zane let himself think about how he felt and couldn't help but be sick with himself, he had let himself slip into this and now there was not escape in sight. He sighed loudly as he heard Kaleb's comment on drugs."Me too, I get really unusual hangovers though, so i normally avoid alot of it." Zane replied rubbing his forehead.

The moment that became very, well unexpected caught Zane by pure shock, he didn't even hear Kaleb's comment as he was brought into a forceful kiss. The very thing shocked Zane, the feeling wasn't normal, it was nothing like he would have felt normally. It was something completely different. His hand slipped up to Kaleb's neck as he placed his own force into it, because of the position Zane was elevated slight, being half in Kaleb's lap.

His other hand found Kaleb's adjacent hand on his head, and he gripped it tearing it down his finger melting between Kaleb's, but along with that his beanie came off and that small thing ripped Zane out of his state. He flew back breaking his lips from Kalebs."Oh..god.." Was all he could say as the beanie fell to the ground and into the snow.

He looked down his face burning with the images that had flown through his head."..I am such a idiot...how..could I let you....." Zane mumbled massaging his forehead. He looked at Kaleb from the corner of his eyes waiting for a punch of some kind.
