The one thing that this boy loved doing was flying, sure it was more of a manly thing, but he was a man, that liked other men. Daniel Nott pondered that for a minute. There weren't many people like that around these days, and to be honest he didn't tell anyone that he turned that way. That's what he loved about flying, in the air, you were free and careless, and there was no risk of being laughed at, or found out. Also, it was a good way to do free thinking, without being disturbed. As he rose up from the ground slowly, he ran a hand through his toussled brown hair. He saw every day, all the glances that gilrs sent him, but Dan couldn't answer in the same way, but when it was a boy that gave him a longing look, his heart skipped a beat, and he thought there was hope out here for him after all.
He let out a sigh, and flew up higher into the air. The wind felt so nice on his face, and she smiled to him slef. He closed his eyes and tilted his head up to the sun. It was a nice day, if cold, and it felt like it was the best day ever. It was a sunday afternoon, and as not to have to go read a book, or do homework, Daniel has decided he would fly, he would ahve had a smoke, but he was trying to cut down on the fumes that he sucked in, so flying was an option that he quite liked.

Sitting in the common room, Elliot Weasley found himself feeling ill. We're not talking about a cold here, no it's worse than that. It's the kind of illness that if left to it's own devices could send someone mad. Boredom. Sighing heavily, the fifth year stood up and walked up to his dormitory, grabbed his broom, and left the warmth of the fireplace behind. Nothing was going on right now, and Elliot wasn't about sit around waiting for something to happen.
Pushing open the doors of the Entrance Hall and walking out of the castle, El began to walk through the grounds in the direction of the Quidditch Pitch. Getting changed into his robes, he walked out onto the pitch and hopped onto his broom, flying up into the air. He did a lap of the pitch before slowing down and looking around. It wasn't until then that he noticed the Gryffindor keeper was also on the pitch.
The perfect brown hair, the innocent face, the sparkling blue eyes. The only problem was, he was straight. Sighing again, he flew over in his direction, slowing down as he approached him.

Danny was so immersed in his thoughts, that he didn't notice the boy coming towards him. So, naturally, it was a shock to see a figure flying towards him. However, Daniel was not disappointed. It was a boy, and he was cute. And it was Elliot. He sighed, yes he was cute, and yes he was bisexual, but Dan could never make a move, seeing as they were mates, but most of all, he just couldn't come out, any who, that wasn't important. As Elliot flew towards Daniel, Dan put a smile on his face, which made his scar stand out. Danny had always hated that scar, becuase it was so big and so visible, and it made him look less atractive and charming, but on the other hand it added something different to his appearence than all the other green eyes, and dark haired, perfect bous around. It made him different, yet kind of special to have a mark to show that yes he was imperfect, deal with it.
'Elliot,' Dan smiled, 'Came out here to enjoy tha last few days of sun?' He joked. Daniel was good at jokes and things, and he had a very nice and charming personlaity. If his appearence wouldn't have been tainted, he would be perfect. Or not. No one is. He was surprised that first year, when he was sorted in Gryffindor and not Slytherin, he had felt like he had betrayed his parents, but he actually found that he did belong in Gryffindor. At first, people were a bit wary of him becuase of who his parents were, but when they found out what a nice person Daniel was, they accepted him, and he was glad, becuase six years of hatred, would not have gone down well.

[OOC] Elliot's openly bisexual. [/OOC]
"Yeah. Apparently it's gonna start raining a lot soon." He replied, smiling back at Daniel. He never had heard the story as to how he'd got the scar, but he wasn't about to ask Daniel himself. His older brother might have been so blunt, but Elliot knew that if he had a mark so obvious and people always asked about it, he wouldn't feel too pleased.
"So, any whispers of who we're playing first?" Elliot asked. He knew that the first matches were still quite a while away, not all of the houses even had a full team. He hoped it was Slytherin, just so that he could beat his brother. He wasn't really sure why he wanted to do so, but that's what little brothers are for, right?

(( I edited it.. xD ))
Dan looked to the boy, his eyes looking him over non obviously, 'I personally hate the rain.' Dan commented matter of factly, smiling to himself. He ran hid long fingers through his hair, and it stayed toussled. He gripped his broom in a flying position, and started flying in a circle, and when he heard Elliot speak again, he returned to face him full on.
'Well, rumour has it that we're playing Slytherin, but it's a rumour, so I have no way of knowing. However, I'm hoping it is.' Danny grinned, becuase his parents had been in slytherin, and his father was on the team, he just wanted to beat who he was tayght were the best, although in Harry Potter years Gryffindor had been the best. Dan's expression shifted to the back of the pitch, and then back to Elliot. His grip on his broom tightened, 'Race you to the goal posts.' Dan said, with a wide gin, and set off, not quite sure id he was being followed.

"Yeah, it really sucks for Quidditch." Elliot agreed, recalling his attempts to catch the Snitch in a match against Ravenclaw last year. Unfortunately, the Snitch had been flying right in front of the Ravenclaw seeker's face, and he had no trouble in catching it, losing the match for Gryffindor. Elliot was determined to try and bring back the reputation Gryffindor had had whilst his father had been on the team.
"Fingers crossed." El said with a smile, glad to see that Daniel wanted to beat them as well. Elliot noticed Dan's hans tighten around his broom handle, and he followed suit. El grinned as Daniel challenged him and set off, and he was hot on his heels. 'Do I let him win?' he asked himself, slowing himself down ever so slightly. There were only so many ways you could flirt with a straight guy, though Elliot began to wonder if this was necessary. There was nobody around to bear witness.

Dan grinned, he recalled the last match where they lost. Yeah, Daniel was an awesome keeper, but sometimes he just couldn't keep the ball from the posts, so it wasn't all his fault though, even though Daniel blamed no one. 'I actually like playing in the cold, it warms you up and it's a challenge.' Daniel winked, he loved challenges and saying thisg like that, he could almost flirt with the guy without him noticing much.
Daniel missed that last part of their conversation when he started flying, looking back Elliot followed but then he noticed him slowing down. 'Hey, how is it fair when you let me win!' Daniel pouted like a little kid, he felt so at home with his house mates, no need to pretend to be sophisticated, he could just be who he is

"Well, can't say I agree with you there. A challenge is cool, but not being cold." Elliot replied. He didn't mind snow, he could bear to play in that, but rain just plain annoyed him. The main reason he liked the snow was the oppurtunity to pelt snowballs at his brother over the Christmas holiday. If it didn't snow, then he could rely on his dad. He remembered when he was about 2, and George had made it snow oer him. he'd loved it.
Elliot allowed a small smile as Dan realised he'd let him win. Damn. "I did? My bad. Maybe I can make it up to you?" He asked, not quite sure how he'd do so, but he'd come up with something when the time came. For now, he'd milk out the time he could spend with Dan with the ability to be himself. He was sure there was something Daniel Nott was keeping from him, as well as the rest of the school.

Somehow, Danny loved the cold and snow and rain. He was weird like that because he loved the way it awakened every cell in his body, and it made him feel alive. Becuase when it's hot, you feel like you're suffocating, but when it's cold your whole body comes alert, and it feels so good. Then, Daniel can focus on the game better. 'I guess it's just a mtter of opinion.' Dan said sweetly, because to him it was tru, he respected opther people's thought's unlike his parents, who would be arguing by now. It sucked to think that they wanted him to be like that too.
Danie looked towards Elliot, and a frown came upon his face. He was wondering why he let him win, but didn't ponder over it too much. 'You'd better.' Daniel said, a small smile creeping up on his face, wondering how on earth he was going to make it up to him. There were a lot of things going through Dannyboy's mind. 'What do you have in mind?' Daniel smiled, even though it wasn't very nice of him to ask, he was still quite curious about what would Elliot do, becuase he didn't know that Dan was gay and so his ideas would be different than Dan's himself.

Of course, Elliot could think of a few benefits of the cold. He loved the oppurtunity to pull his scarf and gloves out of the bottom of his trunk, and being cold also gave you an excuse to snuggle up with someone. Nodding as Daniel agreed to disagree, he had to admit he was glad it hadn't turned into some full scale argument, the kind of thing that would've happened had he been having the conversation with his brother. Then again, he doubted Dan would ever be like that unless he had good reason.
Then he went and asked him how he'd pay him back, a question to which El didn't yet have an answer. Sure, he had ideas, but he wasn't quite old enough, and Danny was just, well, too straight. 'It's only about a month away though...' Elliot thought as he thought about how far away his sixteenth birthday was. "Erm... not sure, whatever you want I guess." He replied, deciding not to come up with something like 'It'll be a surprise.' or to a similar effect.

Daniel felt his broomstick hitch from the wind, as the sky grew darker. He frowned, hating the change in weather, but not planning to go inside soon. He looked over at Elliot, 'Guess we didn't have that much time in the sun.' He grinend one of those cute smiles that made girls swoon, even though that surely was not the effect he ever wanted. It came so naturally to him that he didn't even think about doing it.
Daniel sort of frown in the doubt in Elliot's answer, but shrugged it off. 'How about we leave it for now, and we have a re-race? Not letting me win.' He nodded, looking stubborn. 'If not, you'll just have to face the concequences.' Daniel said quite seriosuly, but then cracked a smile. Danny loved competition, races and sport that's one reason why he chose to play Quidditch, it was fun and kept him fit and gave him a lot of cometition.

"We are in Scotland." Elliot pointed out with a grin as the light began to fade out, thick clouds smeared across the sky. Being on that part of the globe meant that the weather was always changing, even when you went as far as London, rain could turn to shine in a matter of minutes. He considered what Daniel had said to him, before coming up with a response.
"How about a re-match, and then I accept the consequences?" He suggested, knowing it was a bit of a random thing to come up with, but being the son of George Weasley, randomness came as naturally to him as breathing; it was just the way that he functioned. Tightening his grip on the handle of his broom,
