Laughter and echoing voices as well as happiness was what had filled the Great Hall during lunch time. It was the time for students to chill and mingle with other students from different houses. Every table had been a rainbow of red, blue, green and yellow. It was only Lorenzo who had been the one color rainbow. Alone he sat away from the rainbow of colors yet had craved to be apart of this rainbow and make new friends as he was alone in Hogwarts and had no one to talk to.
So there he sat eating his sandwich as he looked around at all the laughter and fun that was occurring around him while he was quietly sitting and taking into his lunch that had been provided by the school. Yay pasta! Lorenzo said to himself as this was one of his favorite meals. Lorenzo had been a very fit person underneath his robes and had enjoyed eating healthy food. His side plate was salad and had a cup of vegetable juice.
He sat and gobbled up his meal as he started to read a spells book learning the different spells that were used for all sorts of things. He did slightly find this boring as there was no one around him. The vacant seats around him were all that were left in the great hall yet had noticed that somehow the students were still able to find a seat by squashing between their friends pushing them down one seat as they made way. Lorenzo took a deep sigh and started ton read his book again. For now, books were his only friends.

Trevor noticed, with a glance around the large, noise filled room, that he was one of the last to arrive for lunch. Of course, because of this, there wasn't many open seats left. He spotted some of his friends, scattered about, chowing down on, well, whatever it was they were eating, but all the seats around them were filled. People were even attempting to sit on eachother's laps just to be able to sit at the same table. He, himself, wasn't going to resort to that.
He noticed a fellow Hufflepuff student sitting at a nearly empty table, and sighed in relief. He didn't have many enemies at this school, so the thought that this student could be one was unlikely. As he neared the table, he noticed the kid was reading a book. Boring, lame, etc. Those were the only thoughts going through his brain at the moment.
Trev cleared his throat obnoxiously as he took a seat at the table, across from the other boy, pretty much making as much noise as possible, staring down at his own plate of lunch. It appeared to be pasta today. Not too bad, "Yo, what's u-" he began as he glanced up to look at the younger student, before stopping abruptly when he realized who it was. Lorenzo. The kid who had punched him in the face. Because he had said something about his mom or.. whatever.
"Oh, look what it is," he snarled, his eyes narrowing instantly. There goes his peaceful meal.

Lorenzo was submerged deep in his book making sure not to miss any letters by scanning each letter individually as he read down the page drifting through like air seeping in through the key holes on a windy day. So there he sat a young boy... He read to himself as he took into his meal with his other hand whilst the other holding his book. He had slowly placed the book down to see who it was when he had heard a familiar voice. I know that voice, I just don't remember where. Lorenzo said to himself peering over his boo slightly.
"Oh no!" he whispered softly as he saw Mr. Trevor. Oh gosh, this is going to be awkward. He said to himself as he bit his lip nervously trying to get out a word whilst chewing and swallowing food at the same time almost chocking in his attempts. Lorenzo and Mr. Trevor had an incident during a lesson in class where He had punched Mr. Trevor on the face over the smallest thing. That being the way he talked. " Um,t-t-t, uh,T" He stuttered as he tried to take out a word from his mouth but all that came out was just the first letter and air.
Lorenzo had needed to accept Trevor for who he was and not for what he was not. Trevor had spoke differently and Lorenzo had to accept that and know that the world does not revolve on the way he wanted it to be. If it were things would be really messed up. After all, Lorenzo was bisexual and if anyone knew that, he knew that no one would accept him for the way he was. Take a breath Lorenzo you can do this. He said to himself as he took a deep breath and let it out again.
" Look I'm sorry. Please take a seat." Lorenzo said with an apologetic soft smile on his face as he offered a seat to Mr. Trevor. " I'm sorry for what I did in the lesson. I was just really pissed off but didn't know why and tried to hide it behind my mask of emoticons."Lorenzo said as he closed his book and placed it on the table folding the corner of the page he was on slightly to remember where he was up to. " Can we start over you think?" Lorenzo asked again with the soft smile on his face. See Lorenz, wasn't that hard! Lorenzo said to himself feeling as if he had just achieved something. " So what say you?" Lorenzo said offering his hand as a handshake and doubling as a new sign of friendship.

Lunchtime was the source of the day's excitement for many students during the school day. At weekends, there was generally more appealing things to do. But on days like these, the majority of students took some sort of pleasure in realising that they were halfway through the day of lessons. Some people, of course, merely enjoyed this part of the day more, because of the vast amount of food available for their consumption. There were seemingly quite of these at Hogwarts. It was a weird thing to witness sometimes, you'd think, from the way they ate, that they hadn't eaten for a few days. It was not the most attractive thing to watch.
For the young Slytherin girl, lunchtime marked the time best to be avoided, if you didn't wish to suffer from panic attacks, as a result of being so closely seated to numerous other people. Suffering from bouts of claustrophobia, she preferred to eat at times when there were less students around. Obviously she didn't reveal the real reason behind her reluctance to sit at the house table during the proper mealtimes. She would let them simply dream up their own reasons - mostly that she didn't like people (which, to an extent, was pretty accurate) or that she simply didn't eat. She didn't really understand that speculation. Surely it was kind of evident that she didn't have an eating disorder?
So, if she hated lunchtime so much, what was she doing, standing in the entrance to the great hall? That was the question that would undoubtedly being running through several students' minds. Of course, for the gluttonous category, it was highly unlikely they ever noticed anything but the plates of food put before them. This very question was now bugging her. She supposed, her previous thoughts had persuaded her that the great hall might not be so busy, around this time of day. She didn't know why she would have even thought that was possible, now she was observing the lack of space. But, one thing was obvious, even to her. She would have to sit down at some point.
Biting her lips for a second, she began to walk, at a very leisurely pace towards the green table. Unlike the other three, and fortunately for her, this table was never as full. This afternoon was no exception. Not willing to engage in foolish conversation, she passed many dull and shallow conversations between fifth-year giggly girls. It was only when she was passing a section of the Hufflepuff table, that something caught her interest. She was sure she recognised both parties, but could not name them. Or perhaps more accurately, she had never been bothered to remember their names.

Trevor kept his eyes narrowed menacingly as he eyed the boy angrily, remembering the scene in the classroom. He really wanted some much needed revenge for the damage he had received, even if Kaleb had been able to heal his nose well in the classroom. He was slightly surprised by the boys behavior, though, but was pleased. Was he frightened? Nervous? He was stuttering, which only led Trevor to believe that Lorenzo was intimidated by him. Good, because that was what he had been aiming for.
Trev let a rather bored expression appeared upon his face as he listened to the younger Hufflepuff speak, his own eyes traveling down to his now filled plate. He picked up his fork and lazily poked at his side of green beans, then took a bite. He chewed thoughtfully before letting his ice blue eyes return on the other boy again. It was simple enough, just forgive the boy and start out fresh. Trevor wasn't too forgiving on those who decided to mess with his appearance, but since it really hadn't caused long term damage, it was easier to forgive. As long as this boy new that Trevor was above him, and should still be able to get away with telling him what to do, and that sort of thing.
He took his time as he sipped his own cup of juice, and swallowed. Finally, he decided to speak, having sat in silence for a few moments now, "Hm, well..." he began, still thoughtful, glancing at the boy's outstretched hand, "I.. suppose," he let out a small sigh, grasping the boy's hand and shaking it slightly, acting casual about the exchange, "Just don't try anything... funny," he eyes the boy suspiciously for a moment, thinking that perhaps this was all an act to get to him, so then he could sabotage him.
Out of the corner of his eye, Trevor noticed a rather attractive Slytherin slowly make her way past where the two of them sat. He thought he recognized her, but couldn't tag a name onto her. Acting out of instinct, he looked up and let a charming smirk take over his features, "Hey there," he said with a wink, "There's tons of open spots over here, if you want to join us," he added charmingly, gesturing toward the open seats around him and Lorenzo. What was the point in sitting at your same house table all the time? You just needed to mix it up a bit, he figured, like others had done.

Even as she stood there, she couldn't help but wonder why she was there. She didn't want any of this weird company and she certainly wasn't hungry. At least not yet. Of course, sometimes she would resort to pretending to be particularly hungry, in order to avoid having to talk to people she despised. This was an act that was not in the least bit convincing, considering that she rarely ate anything while she was sat at the table. It didn't take a genius to figure the flaws in her argument. There weren't many geniuses at this school then. Shame. She enjoyed watching the workings of someone who believed they were so much better than everyone else.
Surveying the tables around her, she still failed to find any excitement or interest deep inside. None of the food that was currently placed in front of the many students was attractive enough to gain her full attention. Unfortunately this gave her little other choice, but to focus on the only alternative - looking at other people. Even more unfortunately, there seemed to be very few interesting people either. What was up with everything today? Of course, most other people would have realised, by now, that it was probably something to do with themselves, rather than everything else. But then, when had she ever shown much resemblance to 'other people?'
It was times like these that she really needed someone to mock. Or more appropriately, someone to be bitchy towards. Where were all those prime subjects when you needed them? Maybe they'd sensed her mood, but one thing was certain, there was the same lack of suitable victims as there was of appetizing foods.
Sighing, she was quite surprised to hear a male voice call out behind her. Somehow she knew, without having to look, that the voice belonged to one of the Hufflepuffs that she had previously passed. Flicking her blonde hair behind her, she glanced back at the table they were sat at. Placing a suitable expression of her face, of complete disinterest, her body language clearly articulating the fact that she found this a complete waste of her precious time. Rolling her eyes at his charming smile, she addressed the older of the two boys. She had nothing against the younger boy. Yet, anyway. "And why would I want to do that?"

(OOC: Sorry had to rush this.)
Lorenzo who had felt tense and intimidated at the current moment took a sigh of relief as he heard Trevor's answer. Glad that's over! He said to himself as he smiled and shook his hand. " Don't worry, nothing is going to happen, and nothing ever will!" His vice rather excited more then usual. Whooo a new friend! he said to himself as he slowly took his hand away.
" Hi there." Lorenzo said as he heard a female voice coming from the other direction. He didn't even know who it was or what ear or house in that matter, he just said hi and turned around to face her after he had greeted her. Oh, its a Slytherini He said to himself with a faint smile on his face. " I'm Lorenzo Antonio De`Corumest." He said as he offered his hand to shake. " Hufflepuff as you can see and fifth year, please do take a seat." Lorenzo said being friendly. He too agreed with Trevor for her to take a seat but was stumped when she ask why she should.
"Well, it is good to make new friends right?" Lorenzo said as his eyes started to drift slightly around the room. When he had felt pressure on himself, he would often not keep eye contact and just carry on with what was needed to be done. He glanced over to look at Trevor and quickly thought to himself as he made a slight frown His kinda cute. " Please join us madam. May I ask your name?" Lorenzo said as he looked back over to the girl to whom he had saw the prefect badge of Slytherin house. " Cool your a prefect! whats the duties of a prefect?" Lorenzo said trying to start a conversation.

[sorry it's short and crappy. i'm not feeling all too well and can't think straight xP ]
Trevor was still not too sure about this Lorenzo boy. Was it all an act, or did he actually want to make a friendship with him? Well, what was that saying? Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer? Yeah, that seemed about right. Whatever, he would just have to go with the flow of things for now. What was wrong with making another friend? This kid honestly didn't seem like he had many friends, by the looks of him having been sitting alone, so there couldn't be harm in any of this, could there? He could easily forget about the whole punching scene. Well, not completely foreget.. but still. He shook these thoughts from his head as he turned back to the Slytherin.
The charming smile remained on Trev's lips as he gazed at the girl, letting Lorenzo speak now. It didn't seem like the younger boy had any problem at all with letting this girl join them. In fact, he sounded just as eager as himself, "And anyway, you know, deep down inside, you're just dying to join us," he replied calmly. He noticed how Lorenzo had already introduced himself, and tried to start a conversation, but Trevor would keep himself silent for now on, unless spoken to, letting the younger boy have his fun.

Samantha had been caught up in her dorm room during her short break, to work on her studies, that she had completely forgotten about lunch. So, she had put her things away and raced down here as fast as possible. Well, not really that fast. Just a fast.. walk. She could already hear the loud chattering and laughter coming from inside the Great Hall before she was even at the doors.
As she entered, she took a glance around at the blend of houses. Not everyone sat at their own house tables during lunch time. It was a good chance to feed and mingle with students from other houses. She glanced at the plates of food that sat in front of the students, eyeing the meal with a sour look. She wasn't really that hungry to begin with, so why had she hurried down here?
As she passed the Hufflepuff table, she couldn't help but notice that Lornezo was chatting it up with that douche, Trevor. From the looks of it, it was a peaceful discussion. From what she remembered, they couldn't possibly friends. She wouldn't become friends with a kid who had just punched her in the face, at least. She had actually been impressed with the younger Hufflepuff for standing up to the older one like he had done in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. That was one eventful beginning of class.
Sam had to admit, she was a little annoyed. She had already placed the Trevor boy on her 'hate' list, and couldn't believe Lorenzo was socializing with him after that incident. She had actually been tempted to become friends with this boy after his actions. He was that inspiring. She strode over to their table, noticing they were trying to get a Slytherin girl to join them. She thought it would be weird if she randomly started talking to Lorenzo as if they were long time buddies, but she couldn't help herself, "Um, yeah, hi," she began, speaking to Lorenzo, "Why the hell are you speaking to that asshole? He's going to kill you in your sleep," sure, it wasn't entirely necessary, but she couldn't help herself.

[ooc: Again, sorry I know this is the second time but it will be my last. I'm rushing this to go to my exam!.]
Lorenzo smiled as Trevor as he hoped the scene in class could fade into nothingness and as if it never happened. "color=Brown] Don't worry my man, I'm a nice kid, I was just having a piss bucket day.[/color]" he said a she tried to think of something that could relate to what he had felt like. Let's see... He said as he bit his lip slightly toward the left." It's like trying to shoot a football but missing because of some fat ass player. You know what I mean?" Lorenzo said hoping that he did as he had not known what the wizardry world was like and if they did indeed play football here.
He was just about to speak again when he heard a distance voice from just behind him. " Hey someone knows my name! " Lorenzo said out loud not knowing that his mouth was doing the talking and not his head. His slightly tilted to the left as the voice continued about some boy being an asshole. " Me am I an asshole?" Lorenzo said looking slightly shocked unless she was talking about him being in the classroom which he then thought over. " Well, I guess your right, but I did say sorry!" He snapped back slightly with still a calm excited voice not knowing that he was referring to Trevor.
