Thomas wandered around the desks as he waited the last few moments for his potion to be done. He was going to start off with something basic. He needed to asses the different levels of potion making, and so needed something basic to start and see what the students were capable of. He was going back to the beginning and one of the first potions that they would have made. He made sure the flames were not to hot, and checked it was perfect. If he was to expect perfect standards from his students, he would expect perfect standards from himself! He moved to the board and wrote the ingredients on the board on the board in big enough letters for the students at the back to see.
Lesson One - Draught of the living DeathIngredients - - Wormwood - Asphodel - Valerian Roots - Sloth Brain - And one single Sopophorous Bean[/center] He leant on his desk and looked toward the door, waiting for the students to come in. He wondered if he would have the cheeky kids, the ones who talked back, or just the plain quiet ones, which could make the lesson quite boring! He hated boring lessons, there was nothing worse than a lesson that made you bored out of your brain! He tried to make his lessons as interesting and fun as possible! [/blockquote]

Kaleb stepped into the cold potions classrom. He didn't mind thid teacher all that much, he seemed okay, and rumour had it that he was a past Slytherin! He slipped into a chair near to the middle of the room and set up his things nicely. Potions was one of the lessons that Kaleb was naturally good at! He enjoyed it very much, and loved making a potion correctly, as it was something he could be proud of.
"Hey Muse, right? I'm kale. Hey proffessor." He said with a nod in the direction of the teacher. He would give any teacher a chance to make a good impession! Well, any teacher other than Zane, he hated him, just the way he was really got on Kale's nerves! He glanced to the board and noticed the potion for the day. Draught of the Living Death, start with something easy then!" He thought to himself approvingly. It was the best way, to start at the bottom and work your way up! [/blockquote]

Her arm still aching, for some unknown reason, led to the Slytherin student resorting to rubbing it while she continued her journey down the castle corridors. She knew she was supposed to be sitting in her next lesson by now, but the irritation had distracted her. By the time she reached the Potions classroom, she felt quite tired, and her arm was turning red.
Ignoring this, she walked into the room, surveying the area for anyone she liked, or more appropriately, anyone she actually cared about. Finding nobody she could slot into either of these categories, she gave a small inwards sigh and dropped her bag on the stone floor, tossing her blonde locks back as she did so. Glancing around, once more, she wasn't at all surprised to recognise that the other students were also members of her house. Slytherins were known for liking this subject the best, after all.
The thing that did bother her was the presence of Kaleb Garcia. That bugged her. Quite a lot actually, considering she had already decided that she didn't care about anyone in the room. She couldn't help but roll her eyes and turn her body away from him, focusing all of her energies on the more important figure in the room. She wasn't going to let him bother her. He wasn't worth it. And there was no way she was going to let him ruin her first Potions lesson of the year. No way in hell.
