It was just one of those days, where Annie was feeling like total crap. And it was true. School was getting on her nerves, all the other kids being very unsociable, and she hated all of it. Even now she got dirty looks for being muggle-born from the Slytherin's, and personally Annie believed that life couldn't possible get any worse for her. She ran her slim fingers through her curly blond hair, looking up to the cloudy sky, her icy blue eyes as sharp as ever. A barely audible soft sigh escaped her perfect lips, and she stuck her hands in her pockets. Annie knew that she was meant to be in lessons, but she just couldn't stand it. She was going to be in enough trouble as it is, storming out of her History of Magic classroom. She found that lesson to be the most boring lesson there is, even worse than Herbology and that was actually saying something.
As she reached the Black Lake, she saw the familliar surroundings, except colder. Because it was autumn, it was chilly, and she ran her hands up and down her arms to keep herself warm. Annie reached the tree that was situated right next to the black water, and sat down. She looked to the water, and saw how black it was. It was almost as cold as the breeze aroung her, and Annie felt weirdly very calm. The sight of the lake usually clamed her, but she wasn;t going to go back any time soon. She leaned forward onto her knees, and crawled towards the water. She held her fingers above it for just a second too long, before touching the iciness beneath her skin. A shiver ran through her, and she smiled. It made her more alert, and less depressed. The sheck always helped her. As she took her hand out fo the water, Annie wiped it clean onto her jeans, and sat back down again next to the tree, completely careless. She closed her eyes.

Vincent walked around the lake noramlly at night, but for the first time he took a stroll in the daylighted hours, He saw the Slytherin standing there, but he didn't veer away, instead he continued walking,, maybe she would stop him, talk to him, he wanted to see what she would do.
The fact was Shia waited for people to come to him, he hated being the one starting the conversation unless he was angry at the person, which happend quite alot it seemed, however today was one of his good days if there was such a thing in his life, he admited he never really had a bad childhood, but tom him somthing was always missing, wrong, out of sorts, but that was okay in some ways sense when did someone have to be happy in the first place?

Even though Annie's eyes were closed, she heard him. She knew it was a he becuase the way that his feet touched the ground was pressured, unlike a gilrls', which was a light touch to the ground. Annie opened her eyes, and smiled at her own cleverness. Her eyes followed him as he walked, she knew that he knew that she was there, but she seemed surprised that he said nothing. Annie wasn't sure of his house, but she didn't care. She would still use him to her own amusement.
She stood up, and leaned her back agains the tree. 'What's a guy like you, doing out here all alone?' she asked, there was a mocking smirk on her face, and she had no idea how he would react, and to be honest, Annie didn't really care. She did this kind of thing quite often, it was all a game to her, and she was a flirt, so she would flirt with any guy that walked past. Her arms were crossed, as she waited to see what he'd do.

Shia stopped turning, so she was one of those type of girls, he had heard it in her voice, a flirt. He walked to her, he kept a distance away however, he didn't trust people.
"Vincent Lord. He said slowly his eyes flashed, he looked her up in down, she certainly was stunning, but that didn't concern him, thats not how he was, he didn't drool after a girl because she was hot, beatiful, popular. He mentally listed off things seem to look for. No, he wanted to see her personlity, and already he wasn't liking it."And you?"
He was tempted to scare her into hating him, thouhg she would learn to hate him soon enough, after all she was Syltherin, and she was a girl who looked like you could tick of rather easily, like commenting on her looks.

She held her smirk. The guy turned. He walked towards her, and she just stood there, well composed, and waiting for him to speak. When he said his name, there was nothing in Annie's voice to say that she was shocked, or surprised or whatever, because she wasn't. It didn't ring a bell. She watched as his eyes went up and down her body, her jeans perfectly hugging every curve in her body. Annie always felt so exposed under a checking gaze like his, but she didn't show it.
When he asked for her name, she raised her brow. He had a nice voice, and nice hair. But there was something about him, maybe the way he didn't reply to her comment, or becuase he was just so mysterious looking. She opened her perfect lips. 'Annie Gilbert,' she said softly, her voice sounding like music. 'You gonna tell me what you're doing here? And out of lessons might I ask?' She asked, unfolding her arms and standing her full height, and the girl was tall. very model like.

Shes intimidated, perfect. Vincent shrugged looking at the lake, "Why should i tell you?" He wasn't looking for a enemy but she had started it with her flirtin, he hated people like this, he wasn't to be wooed, not that easily. He had noticed she had stood tall, she was maybe a inch shorter then himself. Which ment she was almost five nine.
He stood straighter he looked back at her his eyes narrowing. "Don't think jsut because you believe you have '"looks"- he put quotes around looks with his fingers-that i will any nicer, i am not like that."-. He could turn her completely off by mentioning the fact he was bi, but he reframe he save that for a comeback.
He wanted to know what she say first.

In all truth, Annie didn't like the tone his voice took. It seemed a bit protective, and Annie wondered if Vincent was hiding something. 'I guess if you don't I'll just think you're stalking me, not that I'm flattering my self or anything.' She smiled, and it held no remorse or mean ness, it wasn't even a smirk it was a genuine smile, and she knew that she had to go about things in a different way to prevent Vincent from running off.
But then, she narrowed her eyes. 'I'm not expecting anything, and what makes you think, that I think that I have "looks"?' She asked putting quotations around the word looks just as he did. She felt offended. She wasn't an air head that just used her lookes, sure she was a flirt but she usually felt defencive with boys like that. 'I don't expect you to be nice, but you don't even know me.' Her icy blue eyes were more icy then ever, and the atmosphere turned cooler. She narrowed her perfect lashes, and crossed her arms onece again.

"I wouldn't stalk you even if i was told i could leave this god forsaken place, Slytherin." Vincent paused his voice bit into the cold, sending swirls of heat."You automatically start flirting with me, are you so shallow or just bored you decide to mess with a guys heart?" Vincent was enjoying this, he wasn't afriad of any flirty Slytherin, they were just a bunch of snake lovers.
He looked her up and down again, he eyes cold as if he had even stopped to talk to such a person. He was a guy, but because she purposly dressed her self and flirted like she did, it disgusted him, why would a uy think a girl was worthwhile because of how "hot" she is. He still didn't get it. He crossed his own arms, making himself appear taller.
The more he thought about the more the more he became disgusted with her.

(ooc. omg haha you're boing so evil, but lil' miss annie here acan take care of herself ) There was no expression on Annies face, and just looked at Vincent for a second too long. Her gaze was cold and intimidating, and usually made people uncomfortable. That boy in front of her needed to sort oud his manners, she hasn't been rude to him, and just becuase she was a Slytherin, it didn't mean that she necessarily was going to be mean. 'Look, Vincent. Just 'cause I'm a Slytherin doesn't mean I want to pick a fight. You're the one that's beign the ass hole here at the moment, and it's just not something a Ravenclaw does. Now, flirting is just my nature, and if you don't like it then sort out your own problems.' She glared at him, knowing that she was right, but did she mean all that stuff? Probably not, but her voice sounded so suincere, that he was bound to believe her, after all she was so good at lying.
She was thinking about what Vincent was saying. She looked at him from under her lashes, and said; 'Who said I mess with a guys heart? If you must know I've never cheated. And only broke up with a guy 'cause I have to, just becuase I like flirting a bit, that diesn't mean that I go sleeping around.' She said, and Annie felt really offended, but it didn't bother her. Most people had that kind of opinion about her, and Annie has gotten used to it, but just to be so rude and say all that in front of her face, was just a new lever, and she respected Vincent for that, no matter how wierd that sounded coming from her.

Vincent seem to darken even more, so that how she was going to play it, well she was right about one thing, he wasn't a Ravenclaw. He looked at her again, what could break her, there had to be somthing, somthing that cracked her. Maybe....
"You don't know what pain is girl" As he said this he winced. He wasn't planning on saying that, he hadn't evne been thinking that, but Shia had.
Shia stood there uncrossing his arms as took a single step toward her. "How about i show you some?

In all truth, Annie was quite surprised at what came ouf of his mouth, she didn't say one workd about pain, and he goes and lashes out. Vincent was in need of anger management, and he probably knew it. All the same, she was shocked, but she was shocked even more after his next words. She watched in surprise and he uncrossed his arms, and took a step towards her. Annie didn't flinch or, move back. She just satred at him, and dared him to how her 'pain'.
'And how do you plan on showing me pain, Vincent Lord?' she asked, in a voice that said, just try ti and you'll regret it. And it was true, if Vincent hit her, she would strike back, and was a good fighter, and even though she was a girl, she could take care of her self, but didn't Vincent know that it wasn't very nice to hite girls? Well maybe he needs some manners, but all the same maybe he wasn't planning on hitting her, well Annie will just have to wait and see.

Shia, swiftly grabbed her one arm and yanked it above her so it was straight. "Ever know what its like to have acid be poured into your brain? Maybe a rope hung around your pretty little neck?" he looked down at her,"Mental pain is the worse kind.'
He looked down at her, tears of anger frustration, Shia, let o of her, what the heck was he doing, his hand went up to his eyes, why the hell was he crying. He looked away, well that ruined the whole thing, now what was he suppose to do, it wasn't easy to recover from so intimidating talk after you start tearing up. Shia angrily spat and stared away from her, as the tears subsided, damn you pipsqueak.. Shia swore inwardily, his other half, which he knew existed had done this tow him, so they were fighting each other, well this totaly set him back, and he had so many plans for this Slytherin....

Annie was not scared when he grabbed her arm, more like surprised. She glared at him through his little intimidation speech, but showed no fear of weakness. Her heart diodn't even skip a beat, and he looked pathetic. But then, what shocked her more was that he was crying. Now, she was never going to let him forget that, but now she had set her head on revenge. There would be no boy, grabbing her arm and threatening her, and there probably was going to be a bruise from his iron grip. She looked at him in disgust, and didn't even feel sorry for Vincent. She felt anger. How dare he?
That's when she pulled out her wand, and she was sure that he wouldn't notice. 'Expelliarmus!' She shouted, she knew that Vincent didn't have a weapon, but still the force of the spell hit him bakc, and Annie jumped on him. She stared right in his eyes, her icy blue ones looking fiery. 'You stupid mongrel, don't you ever touch me!' She screamed in his face, her face terrifying, then she punched him, right int he face. It wasn't even a slap, it was a punch, and it hurt her knuckles, but she would never forget the sound of fist hitting jaw, however, it did feel good.

The impacrt of the spell hit him fist, but the after punch and the sicking smack ringed through his ears, His gaze turned to her and his eyes lit up as he rubbed his face an massaged his jaw. 'Not bad..." Shia commented, he wondered if she could have hit any harder, he wasn't showing any sign that it hurt, but it did, quite a bit, it propbably would bruise.
He sighed jamming his hands in his pant pockets under his robe, his knuck;es knocked against his wand, he didn't even bother to get her back, no point now, he had totatlly blown his tough act out of the water, which bothered him beyond belief, no one udnerstood him, which was the best.

The punch was highly satisfying, but Annie wasn't completely satisfied, however she did get off of him, giving him a disgusted look of how could she even touch that filth. Her blue eyes were ever so cold, and Annie felt anger and something else that she couldn't place. She was positive that the punch had hurt him some, but he did well in not showing it.
Just then, she realised how meesed up Vincent Lord actually was. When he said 'not bad' she just wanted to scream at him, but she stayed calm, after all she could maintain her composure. 'You're fuching insane Lord do you know it? I just punched you in the bloddy face and you're saying 'not bad'. No one does that!' Her voice grew louder through her sentence, but then she sighed and ran a hand through her hair.
