Most of the time, students who came up to Hogwarts were generally ok. Some of the Slytherins could be foul-mouthed and unpleasant, but so could students in the other houses. Every now and then however, Hogwarts would see the arrival of a more difficult student. Unfortunately, Hermione Malfoy just happened to be the Headmistress whilst one of those students was at Hogwarts.
Vincent Shia Lord, seventh year Ravenclaw. It was strange that it had taken so long for his problem to become apparent, but now it was very clear. Hermione had posted a note on the Ravenclaw Notice Board to tell Vincent that he was to come to her office at six o'clock that evening. Sitting at her desk, she awaited his arrival.

Vincent stared at the note, his eyes darkening, crap, he ripped the paper down and crumpled it up throing it over his shoulder as he headed for the office of Headmistress Malfoy, "the woman who knew everything", well he knew one thing, she didn't know him.
As he opened the door, he wondered what could happen in the spane of time with this women, from what he knew of her past, it could get interesting. He hlaf shut half slammed the door behind him and sat down in the chair, avoiding the habit to prop his legs on her desk, he looked at her with cold eyes, wondering how many offenses he had caused so far, most of them exatrurated he was sure, stupid Slytherin girl. He looked at the bowl of candy, how cute bait the prey first., his mind echoed. He wondered if he would be sent to Azkaban, no not until he killed someone or destroyed the school itself. Or he cast a forbidden spell, which who the hell makes it forbidden, why is it up to a single or group of people to forbid somthing, the spell of control whisped through Vincent's head. He sighed well might as well not send himself to Askaban yet. yet was the key word. With his thoughts still dwelling on death and teh dark he opened his motuh to speak.
"You called?". He smiled slight, the corner of his moth twitching. He crossed his arms in a defient mannor.

Hermione didn't notice Vincent's arrival until the door slammed shut. Her eyes widened slightly in shock of his already rude behaviour. She just wondered, and even slightly feared, the conversation that was to come. He sat down. A simple enough action, but most students with even the smallest amount of manners or common sense would've waited for Hermione to invite them to be seated. Vincent clearly wasn't most students.
"Indeed I did." She replied as he reminded her that she had called for him, though she was already more than aware of the fact. After all, the note had been written in her own script by her own hand. Scratching her waist, she felt through her wand through her robes. Yes, it was there. For as long as it was, she would feel safe.

Vincent took out his wand and laid on the table, he looked at her as he leaned back slowly, he tilted his head taking one of the candies, as he popped it into his mouth the harsh flavor of cinnimon blasted through is mouth he smirked as the heat ran down his throat.not bad bait. Vincent sank into the chair, kind umcomfertable but he wasn't planning on being here long.
"to reassure you i wont whisper the death spell. He said motioning with is hand at his wand on the desk, he lips curved into another smile as he stared at her, she was a afraid of him, he ahd seen her motion to her side, that where her own wand lay hiddden, how interesting. He wondered what she was thinking, from what he could tell when he walked in she had expected him to stand there, wll sorry not happening.

Hermione noted Vincent laying his wand on her desk and put a sweet in his mouth. 'Help yourself' She thought. Looking at the wand for a few moments, she was unsure what to do with it. If she left it, it was within his reach and she may not be able to act quick enough. If she took it, she would prove to him that there was a certain part of her that was scared of him. From the incidents that had happened over the past few days, none of them had included him using magic.
"So Mr. Lord, how have you settled in this year?" Hermione asked, not wanting to delve into the main subject of the conversation just yet. She wasn't sure how he would react, and wasn't sure if she would like his reaction. She was yet to speak to the people who had run into Vincent on a bad day, but she was going to make sure that she heard from them. Bullying would not be tolerated at Hogwarts.

Vincent smirked as she looked at his wand, the irritation well hidden in her features, but not quite. He sighed as she asked her question. "Just fine, made myself a little dark hole even." He said glimpsing to her side again to see if she had reached for her wand, even a little."However some people seem to make it their lot in life to invade it..... he let the comment roll of his tongue as he reached for another candy, this time it was a sour lemon flavor, his eyes were the only thing that gave away it was sour. He sighed propping his elbow on the chair arm.
"So who was the first to complain about me?" He was thinking either it was her own daughter or that irritiating Annie girl. Who were both Slytherin no doubt, Shanice wouldn't have spoken out, which, he found almsot touching somewhere in his darkened heart.

"That's good to hear." Hermione said with a fake smile as he told her he'd settled in fine and found himself his own little hole. She pretended not to have noticed he had called it a 'dark' hole, though the four letters had made her slightly uneasy. By the sounds of it, he belonged in Slytherin. By the sounds of the events, he definetely belonged in Slytherin.
"Sounds like you have a guilty conscience." She replied with a smirk, before expanding on the sentence. "Annie Gilbert, Muse Lorie, Shanice Abercrombie..." Hermione listed, before adding the final name to the list. "... Jaslene Malfoy. I haven't spoken to a single one of them. There are more ways to find out what's going on around the castle than being told from their own mouths."

So it was true Shanice had never actually come and complained, that made him feel a bit less controlled."Guilty? No, its jsut the oppisite, i want to know who would be brave enough to stand up to the monster of Ravenclaw." He chuckled at his own words, Shia had entered Vincent's warm eyes, and turned them to a cat like stare of hate.
He was impressed Vincent had manged to subdue his presence for the time, but now he was sitting in the chair looking at the women he could be three steps from killing, but he had no reason to, not at the moment. He let out a breath of air that to anyone that was close enough would have thought it cold. Shia was not to be daunted not even by this women, she seemed strong, but in time he would break her, to see some fear would satisfy him, real fear.

"Monster of Ravenclaw, is that what you call yourself now? Tell me, what did you do to those girls?" Hermione asked. She knew exactly what had happened, but she wanted to hear the words from Vincent's own lips. The nickname he had given himself was disturbing in itself, and the trouble it had caused was even worse.
"Vincent, what you have done is by no means acceptable." She replied, noticing the change in his eyes and atmosphere. What was going on? This didn't look like natural behaviour, and it wasn't any kind of magic that Hermione knew about. She swallowed the small lump that had formed in her throat, and kept her breathing steady. Something about this kid just wasn't right.

Shia began to laugh hysterically, but then he cut it off as if it had been a joke."Who first? Honestly your daughter brought it on herself, nothing would have happend if she would have turned around and walke away....and the Muse girl, that was by chance, Shanice...." He looked off into a corner a Vincent yelled at him, shutup its my turn he thought in his head, the voice silenced.
He looke up again at the Heamistress, he he had paused at Shanice, he couldn't anwser that one, it hadn't been his intention to do anything to her, when she had siad she could help him, he had draw back for the first time, and now he had a habit of swtiching between his alter ego and himself. He looked picked up a cnady from the bowl again, he placed it on his lips, like he had done with the swedish fish with Shanice, the taste was already on hims tongue, he cringed slightly, vanilla, to sweet, to innoccent. He wiggled it there waiting for her reply.

"You leave my daughter alone or I swear to Merlin you won't know what's coming for you. You don't know how lucky you are that I haven't told Draco yet." Hermione snapped, her hands burning for a stone, a bomb to shiver down his face. If she hadn't been a teacher, she would've struck his face there and then. But she was a teacher, and she couldn't lay a finger on him.
Vincent was more than likely aware of that, the Sorting Hat rarely made mistakes, and she wouldn't put it past a Ravenclaw to know the school policies. Hermione stood up from her chair, pushing it back under her desk. She was so angry, what had he done to Jaslene! Hermione hadn't heard the full story, and she wanted to know why her daughter hadn't told her about what had happened.

perrrfect Shia smirked as she got angry, this was amusing, she couldn't hurt him either, jsut lecture him and stomp around the room as she pleased. She wanted to know what he had done, why had her own daughter not told her? He wondered that himself, maybe because half it had been her pushing him to do so. Yes that was it if her dear mother knew that she had purposely fueled him, well that sure would be hell.
"She is wonderful, no one has ever given me such a earful, shes alot like you." he complimented, his cool was still on the low side, she hadn't done anything to piss him off, as he reached for another candy, he stopped, for some reason as swedish fish slipped out of his sleeve, damn.
Vincent blinked he took back his hand, rubbing it, what had he been doing, he looked at the Headmistress, oh that was right he was being told what a bad boy he was. His warm eyes had returend and he let out a warm sigh, the atomsphere shifted again, he wondered what he ahd missed, he had a sense now of his other side, but was unsure of what was said when he became it.

That was it. Nobody spoke about her daughter like that, not even someone she was slightly scared of. "You repulsive little shit!" Hermione snapped, her eyes focusing on him with a fixed glare. Her breathing became heavier as she tried to vent her anger out, though it seemed rather difficult. This kid had struck a nerve, and that wasn't something that many people could do.
"You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!" She added, taking care not to reach for her wand. Hermione resisted the urge to smile as she remembered saying the exact same thing to who was now her husband. Vincent wouldn't being getting anywhere close to even asking Jaslene out, let alone marrying her. It seemed she shared the same protectiveness over her eldest daughter as Draco did.

Vincent stood looking at her with a bit of a confused face. "I...damn, I am..sorry. She...is..god" He looked away shaking his head. "You can slap me, if you wish.
He went over to her and with out a secound thought took her hand and put it against his face, this was the real Vincent the one no one ever saw, the one who truely was good. "I don't know whats wrong with me, i jsut don't." He choked his hand squeezing hers as he reframed from crying. He wouldn't show her everything he was not, a cry baby anything but that.

"Oh, don't tempt me Vincent." Hermione sneered, her expression bitter. When he left Hogwarts, then she'd have her moment. That was if Draco didn't beat her to him, which when Hermione came to think of it, was very likely indeed. His eyes had changed again, was there some kind of telltale in them as to which state of what seemed to be a multiple personality disorder he was in?
Hermione flinched slightly as he stood up and walked towards her. She whipped her hand away as he put it to his cheek. "I've half a mind to throw you out of Hogwarts." She told him, taking a step back, only to find herself standing against the wall at the back of her office. The room seemed a lot smaller than Hermione thought it was, and looking around, her books and parchments felt as if they were closing in on her.
