WHEN THE RAIN WOULD FALL DOWNI ’ d j u s t s t a r e o u t m y w i n d o w DREAMING OF WHAT COULD BE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Brian pulled on one of his best shirts and checked himself in his mirror. He didn’t want to look too smart, but at the same time, he wasn’t sure that completely casual was appropriate, so he had compromised. He’d chosen jeans, and his converse, which was just the perfect shoes to finish the outfit. He wondered how his parents hadn’t guessed sooner that he wasn’t straight, as what straight guy was so interested in clothes like this? He remembered a spell backfiring on him once turning his hair green, and he had panicked and yelled that he wasn’t going out like that, and his parents had to come home from their dinner and fix it. He blamed his brother, as it was his backfired spell that had made the hair colour changing scenario.
He wondered how they didn’t know then. Maybe they did, and they were waiting for him to tell them. Well anyway, his father didn’t seem all that surprised when he came out to him. It was his dad he told first, that he was bisexual, and his dad didn’t seem to mind. So maybe deep down he did know that Bri wasn’t straight. Then Bri told the rest of the family that he didn’t just like girls, and BAM! They all had some sort of party to celebrate! Brian hadn’t expected that, but he was glad that he had the support! The party wasn’t big, just his mom, dad and brother, and they had like a little buffet thing. It was really nice.
Anyway, the point was that Brian had a date with a girl. Could he call it a date? Would that be awkward? He’d call it a date in his mind and see how she felt about it! Brian made his way through the big doors, down the path and out the gates of Hogwarts. He followed the cobbled streets until he ended up in the three broomsticks, and he took a seat and bought himself a butterbeer whilst he waited for Vicky to turn up. He hoped she’d turn up, as he didn’t want to have to go through being stood up again. He’d had to deal once before, and it wasn’t nice for him. But like he did with everything else, he made a joke, had a laugh, and forgotten all about it.

The lyrics were borrowed from the freaking awesome song Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson, and this template was made by me! Don’t steal!

vicky wasn't sure why she was going on this date, and it was definitely a date. the main reason was obvious; to spend time with and get to know brian a little better than she did already, but it was the result that she was questioning. kaleb would get jealous, that was for certain. it didn't matter if she and brian left the three broomsticks as a couple or not, but the hufflepuff probably wouldn't be one of kaleb's best friends once he heard about it. that was where the confusion came in. victoria didn't particularly want to use brian for her own selfish gain, but she could see no other way to get the person she wanted without him. maybe brian would help her to realise there were other people out there. did she want to? whatever happened would happen, but she needed to stop thinking about it and get ready. it wasn't such a difficult task to choose something to wear. on her way to her trunk she passed the mirror, and it seemed what she was already wearing would do just fine. her hair was good enough as well, so she didn't have to worry about that either. which was a good thing because she only had about five minutes to get down to hogsmeade, or to the school gates before they were closed at the very least. after grabbing her wand vicky left the dormitory, heading towards the entrance hall. if she spotted someone, she'd start walking, and then carry on running once they'd gone. victoria eventually arrived at the three broomsticks, and started looking for somewhere to put her wand. she hadn't thought about pockets, so she'd just have to keep hold of it. vicky walked in and soon spotted brian, making her way over to him and sitting down beside him. "hey." it wasn't the best or most imaginative greeting, but she wasn't really sure what to say.
CLOTHES !? ahh, click it. MADE BY !? vixity at caution. STATUS !? complete. TAGGED !? brian. WORDS !? three two four.

WHEN THE RAIN WOULD FALL DOWNI ’ d j u s t s t a r e o u t m y w i n d o w DREAMING OF WHAT COULD BE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Brian didn't know why Vicky had asked him out. They got on well, yes, and she was funny and witty and seemed to like Brian. But she was really pretty, and funny and witty and nice. Brian was a funny guy, but not many people really wanted to date him, and besides, he wasn't the cutest looking guy was he? But he wasn't complaining, no, he was thankful that he had this date thing. But he just couldn't understand why she wanted to date him. And that bugged Brian, as he knew that she could do better than him, so what had made her want to be with him? Maybe his funny guy thing he had going on was better than he thought, and maybe his personality covered for his looks in this case. She seemed the kind of person to look under the surface, and go for personality more than looks. He did have a decent personality, but he usually just joked around a lot, and people didn't really care what he was like, just that he was funny.
Brian didn't really have friends, just random people that he randomly hung out with. And by hung out, he meant that he told them a whole load of jokes and made them laugh and then moved on. But that was Brian, and he couldn't get attached to people who wouldn't want to know the real him, no matter how much he knew about them. He'd been hurt before by his friend, but that was his fault for falling in love with him. But hey, love can't be controlled, and Bri knew that, so he shouldn't have blamed himself. If he'd not told his friend anything, who knew where he'd be right now. But the point wasn't where he could be, but where he was. He was in the bar with Vicky, and they were on a date. At least, he would be in the bar with Vicky, as soon as Vicky actually arrived. His mind was getting ahead of him again, and he had to slow himself down. She'd be there, she wasn't the type to stand someone up, he could see that in her eyes.
Bri heard the door creak open and his head spun around to see Vicky walking through the door, in a pretty blue dress, her hair all wavy and cute. He smiled at her, and when she walked over, he looked up at her grinning. "Hey! You look really pretty, Vicky"
He said with a smile, watching her take the seat next to him. He couldn't believe that she had asked him out. Maybe he should have asked her, like it was tradition or something for the guy to ask, but then they wouldn't have been here, because he wouldn't have asked her, as he would have thought he had no chance. He wasn't cute, he wasn't awesome, the only thing he really had going for him was the humour, and he was fresh out of great jokes to make her laugh. but hey, maybe jokes all the time weren't the best thing to do, as he wanted to get to know her some more.
