Trevor couldn't help but grin at her statement, "Oh, but I was. I could talk before I was born, and then the day I was born, I could already form complete sentences. So people could hold conversations with me. Yeah, I was on the local news," he lied. He really was trying to stretch out this very strange part of the conversation. In truth, he was just like any normal baby, really, "Wait, so just because I'm older than you, I would win?" his eyes narrowed slightly in a joking manner, "Oh, I see how it is. You just don't want to admit that, even if you were my age, you wouldn't be made of as many smarticle.. particles.. as me."
He nodded, "Yep, that would be why I was such a unique baby. Halloween is a very cool holiday," he responded. Thinking hard about the little hint she gave him, he began to drum his fingers along his knees. Right before he was about to make another guess, though, Clarke had a mini explosive reaction to his previous guess. He scooted to the edge of the bench ever so slowly, farther away from the Ravenclaw, his eyes wide as he stared at her, "Uh.. No?" it came out like more of a question, and higher than his usual tone of voice, "Well.. yes.. no.." he thought quickly for a moment, realizing he was babbling. Sure, that had been what he meant, but he needed to think of something to cover himself up, "I just.. thought.. that it would be too confusing for you, since two separate eggs became fertilized by two separate people at the same time," he explained, nodding his head quickly as he realized that was a good enough excuse for him.
Trev paused for a moment, hoping she wasn't going to explode at him again. It had been going fine until he had to say something to piss her off. He always managed to do that with people. Finally, he cleared his throat, ready to take another guess, though still seated at the edge of the bench, "They wouldn't let you go on your own personal spring holiday, so you're still stuck at Hogwarts? You transferred from Beauxbatons and think everyone here are pigs?"

Clarke raised her eyebrows before saying, " You do know that it's not even physically possible for that to happen, don't you?"
For some reason, Clarke found that she didn't want to stop with the impossible scenario. It probably stemmed from the fear that if they stopped it, then he would leave. She really didn't want him to.
Trevor's next statement amused her and she replied, " Oh, not at all. I know I would win in such a contest if we were the same age. Besides, smarticle is not even a word.
He was back on her good side just as quickly as he had fallen from it. The boy was funny and it was cute to watch him try to recover. Clarke had a feeling that he was used to people getting angry at him and she promised herself that she would try not to do it again.
" I'm sorry," she began seriously, " I have two older siblings and they have the habit of doing that kind of thing to me. I totally understood what you were saying...for the most part. Although, that is, also, highly unlikely to occur."
Here she paused, feeling slightly amused by that. Trevor had a lively imagination, that was apparent. Hearing his guess, she half smiled to herself, thinking silently that he was very close to it. Clarke noticed that he was still sitting on the edge of the bench so she moved closer to him before speaking.
" I wasn't aware that you could take personal holidays. That last one was close enough. I didn't transfer into Hogwarts from Beauxbatons. I was homeschooled before I came here," she admitted quietly and watched him closely for his reaction.

"Oh, you're just jealous that you couldn't talk as soon as I could, and my mother gave you up. It's okay, you can admit defeat," he told her smugly. He was still going with the entirely wacky scenario that she was his twin sister. Or some form of a partial twin sister. He just kept confusing himself more and more with these weird stories he continuously made up, "Smarticle is a word. I made it up. Look in the dictionary. I was even given credit for it," he told her, trying to keep a straight face while he said this, so it seemed legit. He usually was a pretty good actor when it came to these sorts of things.
Trevor had to admit that he was rather surprised Clarke hadn't left yet. Was she actually enjoying this strange conversation? Well, it seemed like it at times, and he hoped that was the case. He was quite thankful that he had managed to cover himself up quickly, well enough for her to apologize and blame her outburst on having older siblings that would do something like that, "Hm, I have an older sister, but she's boring. I don't know why my mom didn't send her off across the ocean in a basket, too. I would have been an awesome only child," he told her humorously. He knew that there was no point in verbally forgiving her after her apology. She was already forgiven, and he didn't feel like he had to state this. Then again, she really didn't have to apologize from the outburst. He was asking for it.
When she moved closer, Trev, out of instinct, moved to the side a bit more, only to find himself on the ground. Feeling a little stupid, he scrambled up to his feet in seconds, dusting himself off as he did so. He resumed his seat next to the Ravenclaw, this time no longer on the very edge of the bench, "Sorry, I.. dropped my wand," he said, holding up a random twig he had managed to scoop up from the ground before he got up, giving her a goofy grin. He always had to think of lame, random excuses for things he did. He threw the twig behind him swiftly and it landed in the bushes, then continued on like nothing had just happened. Home schooled? That was definitely new to him, "Whoa, so, like.. home schooled as in.. you were schooled at home?" he asked stupidly.

((I feel the need to tell you that I love Trevor, he makes me laugh. <3))
"You caught me. I am known to whine about how I so longed to write an entire novel by the time I was three," she spoke mournfully keeping her face completely straight, "I am in envy of you. I wish I had a word in the dictionary as amazing as smarticle"
Clarke had long ago perfected her acting. She found she was rather good at it. Trevor wasn't be, either, and that raised her opinion of him even higher. He amused her. Had she been asked if she enjoyed the conversation, she'd respond with a resounding 'yes'.
"Keeping with the scenario of my being your twin sister, I so wished she would have sent her here in a basket as well," she said seriously.
She had to bite her lip to keep from laughing out loud when he fell off the bench. Although, Clarke couldn't help but wonder now if the older boy was repulsed by her. Cocking her head, she watched him curiously before answering him.
"Yes, home schooled as in schooled at home," she answered in a flat voice, devoid of emotion.

[Haha thanks xD Seriously my favorite character that I've ever created xP] At those words, Trevor had to inspect her closely. She actually looked serious. Maybe she was just doing what he did often, though, and acting. Usually he would be able to tell, but if she was, she was very good at it, "See, don't you feel so much better after admitting that?" he asked her in a sickly-sweet tone, tempted to put a hand on her shoulder just to add to the effect, but he refrained himself from doing so, "I only managed a short story by the age of three. My novel about a fairy princess who rode a dragon named Ernesto, didn't come until I was five," he told her, his mouth twitching into a smirk once more.
"Eh, well, though that may have been convenient for you, she may have been discovered by a different cross-dressing rice farmer. And isn't two older siblings enough?" he asked with a raised brow, the humor evident in his tone. This entire encounter was strange but yet very amusing and, in his opinion, very well worth his time. He was actually enjoying himself, "How does that even work? Did your parents teach you or something? First of all, why were you home schooled? Secondly, why did they choose to.. un-home school you?" he began, quite curious at the turn of events. He really hadn't been expecting that as an answer, "And, thirdly, why would it be a nightmare? Hogwarts is.. ballin'," he couldn't help but grin at this comment, "Fourthly.. even though I didn't really guess it correctly, we could still get some butterbeer sometime? Right? Riiiight?"

[insert large smile here]
Trevor was looking at her in that way. The one where you try to figure out just what the other person is on about? Yes, that one. She smiled somewhat secretively and decided that she wasn't going to help him out on that front quite yet. If they had any hope of being in contact after this somewhat unorthodox meeting, then she wanted it to be interesting.
"I guess you're right. I'm not that lucky. But, you know, it would be better if I had an older sibling that was supposedly of my own blood," she pointed out with a grin, " I mean, apparantly Bethany and Joshua are not my real older siblings and your sister is so yeah..."
Odd how that actually made sense to her. She grinned at him when he remarked on her random comment about the novel. Too funny.
"What was the princess's name? Did she look remarkably like you?" Clarke asked innocently, although the effect was ruined when she smirked suddenly.
" I'm not sure why we were homeschooled actually. Although...," here she paused before continuing softly, " It might or might not have something to do with that fact that my family is one of the purest families around. My parents don't exactly like Mu-Muggleborns (here she congratulated herself silently for stopping herself from using the derogatory word for Muggleborns) and they don't want us to enteract with them, really. I have no idea why they "un-homeschooled" us. Until very recently, I didn't have a reason to like Hogwarts. No one has been exactly welcoming. And yes, I would love to get that butterbeer sometime."
After her long winded monologue, she felt drained but proud of herself. Clarke had just told this boy everything that was bothering her. It was up to him if he still wanted to talk to her.

Trevor grinned slightly. He was genuinely surprised that they kept this ridiculous scenario alive, about them being some form of twins. It was really amusing, and he had a hard time keeping himself from rolling on the ground in laughter, but he was able to contain himself, "Hm, I suppose you have a point there," he responded, acting thoughtful at her words, "But we can't go back in time, now. No point in dwelling in the past," he added a bit over-dramatically. With the mention of his fairy princess, in which he had claimed to have written a novel about, it took every ounce of skill not to do his over-dramatic 'oh, that hurt. I'm scarred' act. Instead, he figured he'd play around with this, as well. Keeping a genuine smile upon his face, he replied, "Yes, actually, her name was.. Trevera. She looked quite similar to the insecure little girl within me that's just banging on the closet door, trying to get out."
Trev sat quietly as he listened to her lengthy explanation, listening intently to her every word. What she said was very shocking indeed, and he couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable with this new knowledge on Clarke's family. He knew, with the seriousness of her tone, she couldn't possibly be acting or making this part up. If she was, she was very, very good, and he would have to give her props. He bit his lip slightly when she was done speaking, "Well, then.. Why haven't you run away from me yet? I'm diseased," it was partially a joke, but he was also serious. It bothered him that people could hate others just because they didn't come from magical families, and it made absolutely no sense. It was troubling to learn that that was how her family was like, because he had actually been growing rather fond of the Ravenclaw, "Wait.. wouldn't your parents get pissed if they found out you were even near me, then?" he asked nervously when she mentioned that the butterbeer offer was still on the table. He didn't feel like getting killed by wacko muggle-haters, if that's what her parents would do.

"Oh, what a lovely character indeed... I find myself wishing to meet her," she said in a slightly hysterical voice now that she had heard the boys replies.
Truth be told, she had no idea what they'd do. Murder her, probably and then promptly do the same to the boy. She didn't want that to happen at all. Clarke genuinely liked Trevor and she didn't want to see anyone hurt. It wasn't that she agreed or disagreed with her parents. She was pretty much neutral but she kind of felt their point of view, although right now she wished it wasn't so.
" I uhm, I honestly don't know. I just don't. But I like you. I don't want to stop talking to you just because my parents are creepy... If it...if it bothers you, I can leave," she offered in a quiet voice, choked with silent tears as she stood up and prepared to leave
Right now, she truly hated herself. Maybe she shouldn't have stayed in the first place. If she had put him in danger and someone had seen, then Clarke would never forgive herself.
((I actually found myself choked up about this... Wow.))

[Awwww your gonna make me sad now =[ ] "Well, if you're lucky," Trevor began, not being able to hold back his grin, "She sometimes reveals herself every now and then. But I'm usually able to contain her," he told her. It was ridiculous sounding, but it was still humorous to him, "I'm sure she'd be pleased to meet you.. Eh, see, now she's trying to come out, but I'm holding her back," he added, cringing as if he was having a mental battle within himself.
When she mentioned that she liked him, he couldn't help but smile, genuinely surprised that she wasn't disturbed or annoyed by his antics, like he usually discovered. He frowned though at her last statement, "No, no. I'm good.. now," he replied. He felt the same way she did. He was actually enjoying himself and didn't want to stop talking to her. He paused for a moment, "Hey, they don't know I'm... muggleborn," he whispered the last word, upon glancing about him swiftly to see if anyone was watching, "And I'm sure your parents don't roam the castle, right?" he asked questioningly. He seemed to let the thought slip his mind of her siblings, though, being the ones to rat her out.

" Then I would really like to meet her. I'm sure we'd get along[/blue]," she said softly with a crooked little smile.
He smiled when she metioned that she liked him and he seemed shocked by it. That was rather sad. Was he used to people disliking him or something? When he said that about her parents, she bit her lips. It had occured to her but she didn't think... Besides, she had her siblings to worry about. She was not about to remind him of them, though.
"I don't care what they say. I... I guess I don't have a problem with... with Muggleborns. I'm not about to let them hurt a... friend?" she began fiercely ending in a soft, unsure tone.
Clarke was so darn confused that she wouldn't have been able to tell you which way was left or right. It bothered her, the thought of losing him just when she had found him. Trevor really did seem like he was a relative or something similar. They were both weird, obviously (previous conversation a case in point), and such. She really didn't want them to hurt him and she'd do anything to make sure that didn't happen.
She didn't know it but this boy had already changed her life. Before, she had been on the edge about which views she supported. He was so... normal. Clarke had always been led to believe that Muggleborns were filth, lower than slime, and not worthy of anything. Trevor was. She knew that with a certainty that scared her.
((I wants them to stayyy franz <3))

[ Haha me too =D They'll find a way xP] "Sure, if you can get along with me, then I'm sure you could get along with anyone, especially my female version," the Hufflepuff told her with a small smile of his own. Though he made it sound like not many people got along with him, it wasn't the entire truth. He was easy to get along with, but difficult to stand. Not many people were fans of the obnoxious trouble makers. He ran a hand through his blond hair as he listened to her once more. He could imagine that she was risking a lot just by sitting next to him.
"Really, now? So I'm not repulsive in any way?" he joked. Usually purebloods who thought muggleborns were horrible often though of them as some sort of diseased filth. Dirty blood, being the reason they were given the nickname Mudbloods. He couldn't understand why everyone just couldn't be all friendly. Then again, peace on earth would get boring after a while. When he heard Clarke mention the word friend, he noticed the tone in which she said it. He couldn't help but jump off the bench yet again, though, in mini-celebration, "Woohoo! Yeah, totally, best friends forever! Word!" at this outburst, he did a mini, strange looking dance before swiftly seating himself down next to her again.
"Still sure you wanna be my friend after that?" he joked, though he was partially being serious. If she was going to commit herself to friendship, then she had to know what he was like, though she pretty much already did. He could get pretty random, "So, then, we could, like, totally go out and get our nails done together. Oh em gee, mani pedi's!" he squealed, his tone going considerably feminine.

((hahaha. Yes, they willl because they rox da sox off penguinss XD))
"Yes, I'm sure I'll be able to get along with you. I rather hope so because I'd think you'd look cute in a dress," she said softly with a straight face.
If she had known what he was thinking then she would have replied to him in a small voice, allowing the fact that she was indeed risking quite a bit by being here. He didn't say it so she didn't have to tell him that and get him all bothered.
" Of course I still want to be your friend after that. I mean... You're just fun, aren't you? No, I could never find you repulsive....," she trailed off into a spacey phase before realizing it and continuing quickly, "Uhm, but I don't know about best friends.. That would be wonderful but you are older than me... Your seventeen or something, right? I'm fifteen. You're graduating and you'll forget about me." she said matter of factly.
She grinned at his change of tone and said laughingly, " I'll totally take you up on that. When I get some nails to have that done with"
'Cause, unfortunately, she had bitten her nails down to the quick. Clarke smile grew wider as she watched him for his reaction.

[TRUE DAT! Lolz.. now I'm thinking about cute little penguins... Crap. xD] Trevor couldn't help but let out a burst of laughter at this comment. With all the times he had put on a girly act, he had yet to try on a dress. That, he decided, was just a bit degrading if he wanted to stay all man. The closest he would come to a dress would be a kilt, "Oh, well heck, I'd look cute in anything," he replied with an overly-cheesy grin, "We could play dress-up, and be princesses for a day!" he added energetically, bouncing up and down like a little kid, "I suppose fun is one way to put it," he replied with a chuckle to her next comment while composing himself, "Really? Never? Oh, well, I doubt that. You know, you don't have to lie to me. Best friends tell each other everything," he grinned after this statement, not letting her own words bring him down.
"Just because I'm older doesn't mean I can't be your B.F.F.L! Like, some kids are best friends with their moms.. and that's a, like, twenty-ish year difference there," he stated, "And.. I'm actually eighteen.. just to clarify," he added, shrugging a bit. He was slightly taken aback, though, when she said he'd forget about her, "I really don't think that's possible. And wherever I go, we can send each other owls. If I even go anywhere.. I have no idea what I'm doing after I graduate.." he trailed off slightly with a small frown, "But I wouldn't forget about you! Wow, you make me feel like a horrible person," he joked. He raised a brow at the mention of her nails, "Huh, what? Were you born without nails? Eat them?" at that moment, he took a glance at her nails, and noticed that they were quite short. There wasn't much to work with, "Ah, I see. You must get hungry," he joked, "But I guess we could just go get our hair done or something. Hot pink with lime green streaks.. Shopping for the latest trends.." he trialed off with another one of his goofy smiles.

((Yay penguins! XD))
She smiled when he started laughing at her comment about the dress. Clarke didn't really think he'd go for that (although he probably would look a lot better in a dress then she did... odd.)
"Of course you would," she replied in soothing tones, " I was under the impression that I was already a princess but you can be one if you want."
Here she pouted dramatically, sticking out her bottom lip. Well, she though silently, it actually wasn't far from the truth. He didn't have to know that, though.
" Listen, I know you couldn't ever repulse me," she spoke firmly in a deadly tone that meant she was doing business here, " I'll always tell you the truth. Right now, the truth is that you don't repulse me in the slightest."
She smiled softly at his next comment and then answered in that quiet voice of hers, "Okay, we can be 'B.F.F.L's, as you so poetically put it. I'd really like that. See? You're three years older than me."
Clarke smiled at his next statements, thinking, of course you'll forget about me. They always do, but she didn't say it. Instead, she replied cheerfully.
"I suppose you're right. We can write to each other every so often. I don't know what I'll be doing after Hogwarts but I'm sure my parents have an idea," that last part was said rather bitterly before she went on in an equally bubbly voice, "Sorry for that. You're not a horrible person. Not, I wasn't born without nails... It's a nervous habit of mine. Hot pink and green? Maybe. You'd look better with that, though, I'm afraid."
Clarke grinned at this and just looked at her new friend like he was the most amazing thing in the world. Which he was, to her. One single thought prodded the back of her mind, the thought about her parents figuring out about it, but she pushed it away. She didn't need them hounding her thoughts as well.

[That reminds me.. I haven't been to the zoo in years. Wow, that was random xD I just wanna see the penguins now.] "Oh, you must think highly of yourself, then?" he joked when she mentioned that she thought she already was a princess. It was so strange but nice, to be able to have such completely random conversations like this, and be able to continue them to make them sound even more ridiculous. Noticing her dramatic pout, Trevor chuckled quietly, "Well if I haven't repulsed you yet, I'm sure I will one day soon," he stated, "It's kind of hard to believe that I haven't scared you off yet with all of my awesomeness," he joked with a laugh, thinking back to the whole muggleborn thing. It was surprising that she was still sitting here with him, after all of that confession.
He grinned his goofy grin yet again, though her soft voice was almost hard to hear on occasion. He noticed that she could speak very quietly at times, which he didn't see anything wrong with. It was cute, somehow, "Sweet. Normally all my besties are dudes, so this will be a pleasant change," he told her with a laugh, "And.. age is but a number.. or whatever that saying is," he shrugged. He was glad she decided to agree with him now, though, but couldn't help but be curious at some of her words, "Whoa, wait, your parents decide what you're going to do with your life and everything? Are they even going to arrange your marriage?" he asked incredulously. He realized, then, that he would have to be more careful than he though. In that moment, he took a quick glance around the courtyard, in search of anyone spying on them or something weird like that. He saw no one.
Trev examined his own nails at this point. They weren't long, but they weren't as short as Clarke's, either. He never really got into the whole 'nail-biting' thing. It seemed to be more of a girl habit than a guy habit, he happened to notice throughout the years, "You should stop being nervous all the time, then," he stated simply, like that was an easy solution to her problem, "Well, we have to be matching twins, so how about just.. keep our regular hair color, but add hot pink streaks to it? We'd stand out, and be obvious twins," he stated. Of course, this would never really happen, he didn't think, but it was cool to dream up random scenarios like he had been doing all day. It amused him greatly.
