Although she was a true Beauxbatons girl at heart, she had to admit that Hogwarts was pretty amazing and beautiful in its own way. While Beauxbatons was light and airy in its architectural designs and furnishings - a sprawling fairy palace, Hogwarts was...well, a castle and playhouse squished into one. She couldn't possibly describe the grandeur and mystery.
She wasn't a fan of the architecture of Hogwarts though. Especially when she was told where the Slytherins were housed. Honestly, who could blame them for being so grumpy and sinister? She would be ready to hex the next person she sees if she has to sleep in a dungeon every day for the next seven years of her life. Anyways, back to the architecture: she had been wandering the halls of Hogwarts earlier this morning and she was quite lucky to have survived the ordeal. She was new to Hogwarts but she was already getting accustomed to the ever-changing castle. She had gotten herself stuck in that blasted disappearing step on a staircase and she had almost fallen off when the staircase shifted!
She was glad that she was outside of the castle now. At least the ground won't open up and swallow her whole! The fact that it was quite lovely out lightened her mood. It wasn't like she had any other place to go to, actually. At first, she had been tempted to go take a walk by the lake. That is until the portrait she was talking to, The Fat Lady, she called herself, mentioned the Giant Squid and the other less than friendly inhabitants of the lake. And as long as she worked here, she will never go into the Forbidden Forest alone. "Perhaps, I should apply for hazard pay?" She mused aloud. With her clumsiness and shoddy luck, she'd probably be eaten alive by a wall or something equally ridiculous.
