[/blockquote][/justify]Josh lolled his head back and let out a sigh. This room was too cold for his liking, as he was used to a warm mansion. The Dalton’s, all eight kids and four parents, lived in the Dalton Mansion, just a short broom ride away from Hogwarts, and it was always warm. They could wake up when they wanted, they could eat what they wanted, and as long as they made some effort to learn with their tutors, they could just about do whatever they wanted to! They had house elves to wait on them, and a whole bunch of family to talk with. Hogwarts was different. Sure, the house elves were here, but they belonged to the castle, and so the students couldn’t order them to fetch things. They had to get up on time, and not be late for lessons. They had to wear a uniform, and the rooms were colder, especially in the Slytherin common room, which was where Josh was seated. He was sitting in the armchair by the fire, the flames casting a flickering glow over his good looking face. Josh was going to spend the evening somewhere new and interesting, but at the last minute he decided that he would stay in the common room and relax, as he was tired and had a stressful day.
Joshua couldn’t believe the hours that the students were expected to keep! He had to get up ridiculously early to get to breakfast, and then he had to go to his first lesson! He couldn’t even go back to bed! And then lessons went on all day, switching from room to room, which meant a lot of climbing stairs, and that was an energy stealing process! He couldn’t believe what was expected of them, it was unnatural! His eyes wandered around to see if his twin sister was anywhere close, as he could do with a good moan about this castle and its rules. Although maybe a good moan about them would just reap more energy than he had. No, he wouldn’t let the last of his energy be culled by complaints. And it wasn’t like he could go to bed, because it was too early, and he’d end up walking up even earlier than the time that people call ‘morning’ because he’d end up with too much sleep. And then he’d be overtired, and that would be even worse! His mind wandered mentally back to his home and his bed. He missed it, and he missed the hour that he would wake up there. He missed the freedom, and he missed how much trouble they could get away with at home.
It could have been worse though, as no one had called him Joshie, yet. And if they did then they would be in trouble as he didn’t like being called that, it made him sound about six. He did not appreciate people calling him Joshie. Josh was fine, or Joshua, but he was not a toddler, and Joshie was not acceptable to him. His sister could get away with it, as she was usually joking, and he knew that so it didn’t bother him as much. Besides, he’d just call her some annoying name and they would be even. But if anyone other than a Dalton called him that, he would not be impressed in the slightest. He’d have to figure out an excuse why he did whatever he did if he had to react to that, though, as he didn’t think that ‘he called me Joshie’ would count as a viable excuse. Nope, it wouldn’t.

Calling on someone to answer this post! I suppose that you could say it‘s 600 words long, and Josh is wandering around in clothes described in the post today! Before you go, you should know that I say Hiya!. The lyrics were borrowed from the freaking awesome song Hallelujah by Paramore, and this template was made by me! Don’t steal!
