can you read the writing on the wall? on a lightning struck tower, you can‘t D E L U D E Y O U R S E L F A N Y M O R E ! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas wandered around the desks as he waited the last few moments for his potion to be done. He was going to start off with something basic. He needed to asses the different levels of potion making, and so needed something basic to start and see what the students were capable of. He was going back to the beginning and one of the first potions that they would have made. He made sure the flames were not to hot, and checked it was perfect. If he was to expect perfect standards from his students, he would expect perfect standards from himself! He moved to the board and wrote the ingredients on the board on the board in big enough letters for the students at the back to see.
Lesson One - Draught of the living DeathIngredients - - Wormwood - Asphodel - Valerian Roots - Sloth Brain - And one single Sopophorous Bean He leant on his desk and looked toward the door, waiting for the students to come in. He wondered if he would have the cheeky kids, the ones who talked back, or just the plain quiet ones, which could make the lesson quite boring! He hated boring lessons, there was nothing worse than a lesson that made you bored out of your brain! He tried to make his lessons as interesting and fun as possible! with her biggest problem removed from hogwarts, victoria was starting to relax a bit. there was still the menacing shadow of the trial awaiting her, but she was doing her best to completely forget about the whole thing until then. what was the point on dwelling on a solved problem, especially when you had a potions class to get to? there wasn't one really, and so vicky left the common room and went to her dormitory to put on her robes, before making her way to the dungeons. victoria always looked forward to her potions lessons, though the damp air of the dungeons was just as unpleasant as it always was. the dungeons were always cold, always dimly lit, and there were always slytherins sneering from the shadows. as she entered the classroom, she cast her eyes over the ingredients list, not paying any attention to the lack of students already in the room. 'sloth brain!? eurgh!' she thought, her facial expression mirroring her thoughts. why was it that there was always some kind of revolting ingredient to a potion, most of the time some form of organ. vicky gave a smile to professor moore, setting her bag down beside a table and taking out her wand, taking the initiative to light her cauldron in advance. several times during her time at hogwarts she had started much later than everyone else because she had been waiting for her cauldron to heat up enough.

Potions...Ira didn't loved them so much and to admit he wasn't so good at potions, but one way or another he wanted to take this class...As he was walking towards dungeons he asked himself again `Why am I a Gryffindor?! I'm not such a good guy...` He stopped his thoughts when he saw a group of Slytherin girls looking at him...Yes! He was a Gryffindor, he was the enemy, that kind of guy a Slytherin girl don't want. He pushed the door of the class and enter. `Good morning, profess..or! ` he said as he was reading the text from the board. He saw a Gryffindor girl at a table `Finally! One friendly face...`he thought. He put himself near the other Gryffindor. `Hey! I'm Thomas Ira Granger!` he introduce himself. words: no clue outfit: his uniform notes: hope is good! made by: christine [/blockquote]

For the first time in a while, the Slytherin was slightly excited about sitting in a lesson. Potions happened to be one of her favourite lessons, as it was the subject that she was best at. Obviously this ability was not drawn from her father’s side. Walking along the corridors to the lesson, she wasn’t particularly surprised that it was empty. Hardly any students were found inhabiting this area of the castle outside of lesson time; apparently most students found the area rather intimidating. She had never doubted that this was the truth, with the standard of students she had witnessed, this idea seemed completely believable. She had no idea what it was that they found so offensive about the area, it wasn’t as if anything bad had happened to anyone randomly passing through the corridors leading down. Well, okay, so there were so rumours. But no more than those circulating around the Gryffindor common room. It was slightly ironic when you considered the similarities between Gryffindor and Slytherin just how much they disagreed.
Dropping her bag next to the nearest table, she grabbed a seat, scanning the lines of writing scrawled across the board. She was pleased to notice that the potion they were about to prepare was one that she was already partially familiar with. This greatly enhanced her chances of brewing a more successful attempt than other students. Of course, there was every chance that they might also possess knowledge, either of a different or similar nature, concerning this potion, but she was quietly confident. With the reading of the potion’s ingredients done, she glanced across the room, noticing her company for the first time. Was this? She hoped not. With only the present company and herself, she wasn’t so sure that she would enjoy these lessons as much as she had previously imagined. It wasn’t that she disliked either student. In fact, she didn’t even know one of them. But, the thought of having a Potions lesson with two Gryffindors was rather disagreeable. Especially when one of them wasn’t exactly her best friend. She could tolerate the boy, if needs be, unless he significantly changed his behaviour, but Victoria Bennett was less endurable.
Flicking her long blonde hair behind her, she adjusted the first button of her shirt so that it was more comfortable. Although she’d been at Hogwarts almost five or sixth months now, it was still feeling as though she had only become accustomed to it this morning. Whoever thought of such a ridiculous outfit? Even as she perched nearby the desk, she was feeling the strain of wearing uniform, for the first time in what felt like forever. Her eyes flickering over the desks in closest proximity, she couldn’t prevent herself from glancing once more at the pair of Gryffindors, especially the boy. There was something almost intriguing about him, although she would never have admitted it. He was just a Gryffindor after all. Biting her lower lip, she turned her attention back to the board and the teacher situated at the front of the classroom.

'cause I've had my hopes raised, riding the wrong waves SCARED WHEN YOU FEEL SAFE TO START AGAIN ! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Smiling happily, Kaleb didn’t even care that he had Potions lesson first. Besides, he had time to get there, it wasn’t even…Kaleb’s eyes found the watch on his hand, and his eyes widened. oh crap! He thought, jumping up from the bench in the great hall and bolting down the twisted staircase and into the Dungeons. His feet took him the familiar route to the Potions room, and he hardly had to even think about it! Living in the dungeons, you knew your way around, as you definitely didn’t want to get lost down there! Kaleb opened the door, and gave a respectful nod to Professor Moore, who had saved Kaleb’s ass in the offices. If Mr Moore had not reached him in time, Shames could have gotten away, and Kaleb would no doubt have blamed himself for the escape, as he could have tried to do something about it. Which was of course a stupid idea, because he was bound with a spell, there was no way he was getting out of that alone, and it had been Prof. Moore who had released him of that spell to. He had a load of respect for Prof. Moore, who also gave Zane a pretty hard time, from what Kaleb could remember, and he loved that fact, as he was in no shape to do it himself.
Kaleb’s eyes glanced around the room and he spotted Vicky. His heart gave a delighted little leap, and Kaleb once again felt the conflicting emotions. A part of him thought that Kai was his one, but the other half of him was saying Vicky. He had feelings for them both, but he didn’t know which one he would chose. He’d decided to stick with Kai for now, as he did truly love Kai, and Kai had given up so much for Kaleb that he wasn’t going to throw it away on something that could be love. And besides, he doubted that Vicky even wanted him anymore. His eyes landed next on the guy close to her, and he unknowingly scowled a little. She looked pretty cosy with him, or at least he looked as if he was trying. He pulled his bad off his shoulder and dropped it the other side of Vicky. He grinned broadly at Vicky. ”Hey stranger, the mood in the castles been lighter recently, don’t you think?” He asked, giving her a knowing look. He’d felt less worried since Zane had been kicked out. It was like he didn’t need to look over his shoulder, he knew he was safe. His eyes read the ingredients from the board, and he lit his cauldron with his wand, and looked at professor Moore for the ok to start.[/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

So she was a little late. Well, maybe more than a little late. She had somehow lost track of time while reading her book and had only come back to the world of reality when a few of her housemates had entered the common room. She had left in quite a hurry and hopefully, she hadn't left anything behind back there. Slytherins may treat each other better, but she wouldn't put it past one of those second year brats to steal something. Frowning slightly and breathing a little more quickly, Anemone quickly slipped into the open classroom door.
Immediately, she was able to identify most, if not all, of her classmates. After all there were barely any of them in the room. On the board were ingredients for the Draught of the Living Death. Thankfully, the rest of the class hadn't begun yet. She had read up on the potions earlier that week and had looked forward to making it. Casting a furtive glance at the professor, she quickly tossed her bag onto an empty desk and settled in. Hopefully, Professor Moore had not taken attendance yet.
After making sure that all her belongings were with her and not in the grimy paws of a second year Slytherin, Anemone took the time to assess her classmates. Of course, there were a pair of Gryffindors. They had immediately flocked together, most likely to face off against the present Slytherins. Before she had arrived they were equally matched, with Garcia and Malfoy on the Slytherin side. Funnily enough, there weren't any Ravenclaws or Hufflepuffs. Perhaps they were late too?
Around her, her classmates were talking. Well, Garcia was talking to the Gryffindor girl. She could make her presence known and try and talk to the Gryffindor boy, perhaps introduce herself. But who knows how receptive he would be? No, it was better if she stayed in her seat and waited for the Professor to start his lesson.
