there's a place not far away
WHERE I WANT TO TAKE YOU
the first snowfall is always the whitest
She moved flawlessly through the corridors of the school, just looking around at the January sunshine that warmed her skin. It was a Saturday, and Rosalyn had nothing better to do. Of course she did, marking student's essays, however she felt like a break. Rosalyn Rowett wasn't one for the in side, she felt rather claustrophobic like that, so it helped when she was outside, hence heading the way of the lake.
She knew that teacher's weren't seen much out of the castle walls, but Rosalyn planned to change that. She took a couple fo deep breaths for no reason, just to make breathing a tad bit easier, and headed out. The instant harshness of the wind blew right through her thin sweater, and instantly she shrugged into her self. She looked up at the dazzling sunshine and the icy wind, and thought of the contrast. They were the opposites but seemed to get along.
But, the sun and the wind are like enemies, one trying to make people cold, and one trying to make them hot, and so working together makes the perfect contrast. Rose shook her head, her thoughts were once gaian filled with trash that she did not want. Still huggin herself she moved forward, having always been rather bad at charms, she would rather not use her wand that day, especially having such numb fingers.
When she finally reached the lake, she saw that there were some students enjoying the weather, same as her, but what captured her attention was the lake. The mesmerising blue that that was so dark, it looked almost like liquid midnight. She wanted to swim in it, it feel the water on her skin, so she walked forward and crouched down, rubbing her hands together to make sure they were warm enough.
Roslyn slowly moved her hand downward, until onlt the yips of her fingers touched the water. She smiled as she shivered at the icy colness of the lake. The water didn't feel as good as she had imagined, however she knew what it felt like in the summer, and so she just dwelved into that particular memory as the cold water made her shiver once more.
