Chris had just finished his last lesson of the day and was glad of the freedom. Time to shine eh thought to himself not realy knowing what he was meaning by it but he had the rest of the day to work out what he was going to do. He was in his sixth year at Hogwarts and had been pretty much everywhere the place had to offer, well almost everywhere there were some of the towers he had never realy visited. Mainly because he didnt like heights.. yet he had been up to the top of the astronomy tower. Of Course at the time he was scared out of his mind as he looked down at the ground over the side but now thinking back it wasnt actually that bad.
He was actually heading up the stairs of the astronomy tower when he changed his mind, better start off easy he thought to himself changing direction to the Ravenclaw tower, which he had never realy explored as his opinion on ravenclaws were.. well they just didnt get him, they were too busy studying while he was more of the having fun type. Emelia was heading out of the Ravenclaw tower, heading to the library to return a few books. Running her hand through her hair she sighed. Today had been a hard day, the amount of homework they had received was abnormally large. She didn't feel up to doing it today leaving it for the last minute; this was so unlike her. She didn't know why she had actually taken the books out of the library, they had seemed boring when she had first looked at them and were even worse than she had imagined.
Emelia was feeling home sick already, missing everything about the muggle world especially her family. She had never been close to them but that didn't mean that she didn't miss them. Although she knew that even if she was back at home she would never see them at home, she still wanted to be at home. She looked around the corridor this was some what like her home empty but welcoming.
Thinking about home was giving her a headache so she looked down trying to clear her head and trying to forget all of the thing that were actually causing it, so she didn't see when she macked right into someone, spilling her books. 'I'm so sorry.' He looked aghast.

Chris felt something bump into him, it almost knocked him off his feet Stupid little ravenclaw.. he thought turning around expecting to see some tiny little boy with huge glasses on the floor trying to pick his books up as fast as possible. Instead he saw a girl who looked familiar, he was unsure where from maybe he had seen her walk past and not registered what she looked like exactly but he had to admit she was another good looking girl.
"No im sorry" he said smiling at her and bending down to help pick up her books. Ok this is your moment, theres a good looking girl who doesn't seem to know you, charm her! he thought picking up the books and piling them then standing back up and handing them to the girl. First to test if she realy does know me.. or at lest rumors of me he thought as he smiled and said "Im Chris, Chris Weasley". God i havent done this in ages.. he suddenly thought to himself and almost had to kick himself for his almost James bond like introduction.

Emelia felt a blush starting to creep in, quickly she knelt down and started picking up her books. She heard the boy introduce himself as Chris Weasley, she had heard his name before but could never put a face to the name. Standing up she noticed that he had helped her collect her books, taking them form she muttered a quick thank you. 'By the way I'm Emelia, Emelia Williams.' She grinned, copying the way that Chris had said his own name.
She turned around planning to continue on her way but thought other wise 'Thanks again and sorry for bumping into you.' It felt akward she never liked intruductions they were really uncomfortable. She averted her eyes and started staring at a nothing in particular, wanting this to end as soon as possible.

Chris noticed her little blush and decided not to mention it as it was probably the most expected reaction if you walked into someone. Chris watched as she took the book muttering a thank you at which he just smiled at her and nodded his head slightly. sometimes Chris found the best response didnt have to be one with words. When he found out her name he smiled, partly because he was getting somewere and partly because he didnt feel so stupid about the way he had said his own name. "Emelia.. beautiful name" Chris told her with a smile.
chris didnt realy know what to do as she turned. FAIL! he thought to himself wanting to kick himself that he had failed with a girl, it wasnt like him to be so lame at talking to girls but then she turned back around. Its not over yet! he thought as his smile returned. "Its not a problem and eel free to bump into me anytime, its good to see a new face" he said wit a nod, it was true everyone he kept running into recently he had already met before.

Emelia turned her head toward Chris and smiled. 'Well, I hope I don't bump into you again...' Emelia said while pushing a strand of hair out of her face. 'Because that fall really did hurt!' She could feel a bruise forming, wincing slightly when her clothes brushed a little to roughly against it. Suddenly her hands had started aching from holding the books for so long. She shifted them trying to hold the way in a more comfortable way.
Emelia took a deep breath, hoping that the awkward silence wouldn't return. She always hated the introductions because she never knew what to say to people she had never met before. Emelia had to hang around people for along time until she actually would feel brave enough to chat about anything and everything. She sighed why couldn't she just be more outrageous and brave like other girls?

Chris smiled as she said she hoped she didnt walk into him again as it hurt. "Well i guess that would be my muscles.." he said thinking out loud then added "I'll walk around with pillows strapped to my arms from now on" he said with a small smirk. He would look a right fool if he actually did do that so he wasnt but it was something to say to stop the awkward silence that came when nobody knew what to say.
Chris noticed her struggle with her books. Que charming Chris he thought as he smiled and said "You look like your struggling, here let me" he then gently reached out and took the books from her and held them smiling. "There, whats the use in having beater muscles if a pretty girl is struggling with books and a guy doesn't help her" he said with a wink. He may have been flirting a little bit.. well.. there was no doubt he was flirting but he wasnt trying to just kiss her, that wasnt his style.. as he had told many girls who didnt fall for his charm, he was in it for the chase.. untill he found 'the one'. Emelia saw Chris smirk, mentioning something about walking with pillows strapped to his arms, this really was a funny image. Emelia's lips curved slightly to form a small smile. She heard Chris offering to help her with her books, she was about to refuse because they were going separate ways but he had already taken her books from her. Although she wouldn't have admitted this it was a relief to have them of her arms.
Emelia heard him say something about his beater muscles, Ah I though I recognized him from somewhere must have been quidditch.Emelia though to herself. She wasn't used to kind guys because most of the ones she had met were jerks or just ignored her, she didn't know what was better being ignored or having an awkward conversation. 'Thanks for taking my books but you don't need to carry them and anyway were going different ways.' Emelia gave Chris a small smile.

Chris smiled as she did, she had a nice smile or so thought Chris, which was unusual for him as normally when he looked at girls lips it was usualy to see if he thought they would be a good kisser. Maybe its just the awkwardness thats got me being.. well awkward he thought then decided to try something new, usualy when he met a girl he would be charming for a while untill either they fell for him or it wasnt working so he just began flirting obviously. Here it goes he thought then said "Well.. Emelia, im a bit of a erm.. womanizer and if you've heard anything bad about me.. its most likely true" He admitted with a small shrug.
He wasnt sure what he was trying to achieve by telling the truth about himself but he guess it was just some sort of experiment to see how someone would react. "Well.. i wasnt actually going anywhere.." he admitted, he had just been wondering around, so he could follow her around the school if she wanted. He wasnt actually doing anything and he would be pretty interested to see what it was Ravenclaws actually did, because he rarely spoke to them or even bothered with them as he had it in his head that they were all nerds. Which he knew they probably all werent but he still couldnt imagine any Ravenclaw in a nightclub or something.

Emelia notice Chris smiling back. He had just confessed that he was a womanizer which Emelia had already know. Surely no guy could be as bad as Chris's reputation. Could he? She didn't know what to think, at least he was being honest. She kind of hoped his reputation wasn't all true, she had no idea why. She didn't like the idea of guys going form girl to girl just because they were bored of the one before. Emelia might not be brave girl but she definitely didn't like the idea. Don't judge until you know the reason. She thought to herself maybe he had a good reason to why he was doing this. She couldn't think of what it could be but she was going to give him a chance to explain himself. "Why do you do it?" She wanted it to come out strong and confident, in a way that would suggest she hated his way with girls. Instead it came out weak.
She had barley caught his sentence about just wondering around the castle, thinking about how much of a jerk he was. Oh well, not all guys are saints, for some it's not just in their nature. One side of Emelia though but the other just hated him for it, some girls might actually not want to be treated that way. She knew she wouldn't want to be treated like that. Emelia crossed her arms waiting for an answer. Be it a reasonable one or not. Probably not a reasonable answer. She thought to herself. One day hes probably going to regret it. When he finds the right girl and she wont be able to trust him because of the past.

Chris could see what she was going to ask and when she did ask him the question he began to wounder why the heck he had actually decided to confess to her, it was an experiment with 'the truth' but so far he was favouring his more sneeky approach at things. If your going to do this correctly you have to stick with the truth he thought to himself. "Honestly i haven't got a clue, maybe its because im scared of being stuck in a relationship with someone i dont really love, maybe its because im like the first weasley in slytherin so i feel like i should be the big bad man" he said with a shrug then added "or maybe i just like the attention" he did like attention.. but he also liked to be left alone sometimes. Truthfully tough he hadn't got a clue why he had started going from girl to girl, it had just kind of.. happened.
Chris then stood there leaning on the wall waiting for her to say something and judge him like pretty much everyone did in there own way. Wounder if shes going to be one of those people that walk away without even saying another word he thought to himself. She seemed like the kind of person that would do that but then again that was him judging her, something he didn't really want to do to anyone.

Emelia didn't expect Chris to be so truthful, yeah he told the truth once but he was a Slytherin and the experiences that she had with Slytherins weren't ones with truth involved. All of a sudden Emelia felt bad for judging him, she usually wasn't like that. Why'd did she have to start this conversation with him, she knew almost nothing about him. The reasons he had given her weren't good enough for her but maybe they were for him and others. "I might understand your point a little but not all of it, liking attention is not a reason for treating other like dirt." Emelia didn't know where this had come from, she wasn't one to just blurt out things like that. She'd just keep her opinion to herself but this was different, why? She couldn't put her head around it. "Anyway, do what you want but just think about others before doing it..."
Emelia waited for his reaction, maybe he'd be angry, or maybe just walk away. She wished that he'd just walk away, then she could just walk away and continue doing what she was before he came along. What was it with her ans sticking her nose in other peoples business. Again this was not like her, maybe she was just having an off day. She'd just go back to her shy and quite self tomorrow and forget today altogether, if it was possible.

So far this entire tell the truth thing wasnt going as well as he had figured. Why do people say tell the truth, its much easier to lie.. and you get better results he thought to himself. He then decided maybe it was best to tell the truth but then sometimes tell lies because the truth left everything out in the open and lies hid everything so maybe a mixture of the two would be ok. "Woah, i dont treat anyone like dirt, in fact is anything i treat most people the opposite" he said which was part truthful, he did treat people respectively and kindly well.. more flirtatiously realy mainly because he wanted to kiss them and stuff and when it was over.. actually he never realy said when it was over because he had never said they were going out.. girls just kind of tended to drift off from him.. which he was grateful for.
"Oh trust me i think of others.. a lot" he said with a small smirk he was constantly thinking of others but a lot of the time it was like 'wow shes hot' or 'i remember her' or 'god i hate him' it was rarely about peoples feelings which he would only realy think about if someone brought it up. He couldnt help but begin to wounder who he had 'hurt' in the past.. to be honest he wasnt sure, he figured the only way he would know is if he re-met one of his many past flings. He didnt plan to do that anytime soon and would never be looking forward to it.

Emelia knew that Chris was a Slytherin he fit all of the characteristics of being a Slytherin but Emelia didn't want to judge before she actually knew herself that the person was infact, a Slytherin to the core. Which Chris most defiantly was. He had proved that with his last comment about thinking of people, she knew he didn't mean it the way she wanted him too, and the smirk just confirmed it. Emelia wasn't the bravest of people and being surrounded by people who had much bigger personalities then her didn't help. Some times Emelia would just leave and try to stay out of the path of others because to be honest she wouldn't know what to talk to them about. Now here she was having a conversation with a Slytherin, not only that but she had actually had the courage to speak her mind and that didn't happen very often but if it did it didn't last long.
Emelia knew she wasn't going to change his point of view so why try knowing that your going to fail? Emelia started feeling to self conscious she had talked to much for her liking, even if it hadn't been more then a few sentences she had told him to much about herself like, that she was very opinionated when it came to treating people well. 'Well, there's no point in arguing with you is there? I wouldn't get through to you even if I try. You know what just go back to you Slytherin ways and live your life like it had done before. Just when everything comes down on you don't say I didn't tell you...' This was probably one of the longest speeches she had given, (Except for school speeches.) and she wanted to take back every word she had said. Emelia wasn't one for lying but she also didn't like to tell everyone what she was thinking. Whats the point their not going to listen to it anyway, and today had proved it.

Either Chris had stumbled upon one of the most boring people he had met.. or this entire telling the truth thing was not the way to go. He figured it as more than truth thing but she did seem pretty boring. ".. Now that your done judging me.. have you ever been excited.. thrilled, adrenalin pumping through your veins?" he asked curiously, it was a feeling he had.. a lot. Mainly because he was a 'bad boy' and got up to all kinds of stuff that wasnt aloud, like sneaking around at night and playing pranks on teachers and generally getting up to no good.
It was one of the most thrilling things in the world, doing something your not allowed so i she hadnt even done something or never felt that exhilarated he would happily help her start a life of adventure. Well at least he would if he was in the mood, often he couldnt be bothered talking to people they just got on his nerves. So far today just want one of those days.
