Theodore sat in his office marking some papers that had been given in by some second year gryffindors, well it was meant to be gryffindors and Slytherins but he had hardly got any slytherin papers back so he was mainly marking Gryffindor work. He sighed at himself, this part of the job bored the living daylight out of him. He sat back in his chair as he decided to take a break, Ted opend his draws looking for something to entertain him. There must be something he thought then with a sigh closed them all.
He was now officially bored and needed something interesting to do, bored he took some paper and folded it into a swan which he blew and it began to fly around the room, he smiled as he watched it. some elder boy had taught it him in his years at Hogwarts, it worked amazing on girls.. they thought it was so romantic. He had to admit he still wasnt sure how it flew, but he knew it didnt last long as he watched it fall to the floor. He couldnt be bothered to go retrieve it yet, he just lent back in his chair and stared out a window to his right.

YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF JASLENE MALFOY PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE LEAVE ME ALONE It seemed to be another of those dull, boring days when teachers were supposed to occupy themselves with some sort of paperwork, whilst students were probably expected to find something else educational to occupy their time and minds. Unfortunately for Jaslene, she was forced to find something remotely educational, as her mother was often stalking her eldest daughter’s footsteps while at Hogwarts. There was almost no way that Jas would be able to wander off and find her own favoured type of entertainment. So she resigned herself to trawling the different floors of the castle. At least if asked, she could claim that she was merely inquiring after a teacher. But then the thought occurred to her. Surely there would be something more interesting available to her on the floor with all the teachers’ offices nearby? She found the idea interesting enough in itself to warrant a wander onto this floor as opposed to the previous ones she had walked across. Even if her search for ‘education’ didn’t prove fruitful, she was sure she’d have lost very little. And judging by the previous floors, there was little else to do.
The idea still quite attractive, she made her way towards the familiar locations of many different offices. The one she least liked being forced into was her mother’s. Her mother never usually invited her in just for the good of her health. Jaslene had refused any such offers much earlier in her school career. So the invitation of spending an afternoon in that particular office did not bode well. If she maintained her current position, she doubted she’d manage to avoid the office for much longer. But for the time being, she was very content to skip past that room. Glancing across the corridors, she noticed the room, which also happened to occasionally be inhabited by her mother. However since weird and unexplained events had happened at the school, she found herself facing Charms lessons with a new teacher. When Hermione had first told the students whom would be replacing her, Jaslene had found it incredibly difficult to prevent herself from laughing. It wasn’t that her replacement was stupid, or inexperienced when it came to Charms; it was more who it actually was. She couldn’t believe that he’d be her teacher. Saying this, he had probably felt the same way.
As she came to glance at the door that had once led to a very different teacher, she was quite surprised to find that the door was ajar. She was also quite surprised to see a crumpled piece of paper on the floor just before her feet. Evidently there was a major difference in the manner that the two Charms professors kept their belongings. Looking up at the new teacher, she pouted. He looked busy. But then he also looked incredibly bored. Something else they seemed to have in common. Her eyes moving around the office, she noticed it also looked slightly different to the room that she was accustomed to. Normally, she would have instantly disliked this. She wasn’t at all a fan of change. Ignoring her thoughts, she stepped into the room, picking up the piece of paper. It was only once she did this that she recognised the form. It appeared to be a swan. Why he would happen to have a swan in his office was beyond her, but she couldn’t hide a small amount of admiration. It was a perfectly formed swan. Approaching the desk, she placed the paper down, biting her lip; to prevent herself from saying something she’d regret (something which took a great amount of self-control) before she turned to walk away.

Theodore was at this point zoned out. He had become completely bored he hadnt even heard Jaslene at the door or her when she was in the class, he had just been day dreaming about all kinds of weird things like 'if i grew a realy long beard would it change colour with my hair' and 'i wounder if its possible to get a flying mop instead of a broom' these were some random things but when there was nothing else to do Ted's mind would often wounder off on its own. He scratched his head as he slowly came back to reality. Sitting up straight he saw a girl he couldnt realy see the face of across the room heading for the door, slightly confused at how he hadnt noticed her or heared her he looked at the desk where the girl had put the swan.
Looking at her he realised who it was "Jaslene?" he asked curiously sitting up slightly, it was weird thinking that when he was younger and she was also younger that they would play things like hide and seek with her.. well.. not exactly hide and seek .. it was more like teddy would hide for a while and then come out to find Jaslene doing something other then looking for him... and now he was her teacher, weird. Teddy also used to baby sit.. he would baby sit not only the malfoy's children but the weasleys and the potters.. sometimes all at the same time.. it got a bit much at times.
Ted didnt have a clue what to say to Jaslene but she had come into the room so maybe she wanted to talk to him about something.. then again she was about to leave but that could have been because he hadnt noticed her. "What brings you here?" he asked with a smile just happy to see a face that meant he didnt have to continue marking papers or do some other boring professor stuff.

YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF JASLENE MALFOY PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE LEAVE ME ALONE Before she’d made much progress in the way of moving out of the room, he seemed to show some sign of life. Obviously, he’d been significantly more bored that she’d anticipated. So much so that he’d failed to note her appearance. She hadn’t realised that teachers became as bored with paperwork as students did. From the way that her mother handled any sort of work, it had sort of encouraged her to believe that each teacher was as eager and enthusiastic. However from the lack of response from this professor, she was starting to doubt her assumptions. But then, maybe she was forgetting that this teacher wasn’t as old as the majority of them. He had also quite recently been a student himself. But then, if he was so bored by this aspect of his job, she couldn’t help but wonder as why he was so eager to accept the employment. Being the daughter of a professor, Jaslene had no intention whatsoever of becoming one also. She’d already chosen her career, at quite an early age. One, which very few people knew about. Maybe there were advantages of being a teacher that she’d failed to notice. But then, maybe he was just weird in his choice of jobs.
Hearing him speak for the first time since she’d entered the room, she nodded shortly. “And to think, people claim nobody could forget me. Yet here you are contradicting that statement.”
It was true. Throughout her life, many people had claimed that a meeting with the oldest Malfoy girl was something that they ‘were unlikely to forget’ It often varied enormously on whether the person meant this in a good or bad way, but there was still that similarity in what they said. Personally, she’d thought most of them were overreacting. “I know it’s been a few years, but I can still do the decent thing and remember who you are. Seeing as I mean so little to you, you’ll have to pretend to do the same." She couldn’t help but deliver these comments in a sarcastic tone, but strangely it wasn’t as cold as some of the stuff she regularly said to others. But then she disliked most of those people. And in a way, the man and she had grown up together. There were far too many memories for her to say anything in bad taste. But her personality would still shine through. She couldn’t stop herself from saying what she thought. And at the moment, she was rather concerned that he seemed to need a lot longer to recognise her than she had required to recall him. What Jaslene had overlooked was the fact that Teddy had a significantly harder task of recall than her. As he had been much older than her in their childhood years, it was quite easy for her to recognise him. Whereas (apparently) she had changed quite a bit. Apparently, according to the same people, she also looked a lot more like her father now. But if this were true, surely, it would have been quite simple to name her confidently. Maybe the boredom had led to major eyestrain. “Thanks for eventually remembering my name there. I’m sure it took a lot of effort.” She grinned, her eyes brightening with every word. “But yes, Jaslene.” Her eyes flickered over the contents of his room, and then the desk, which seemed to have most of his possessions scattered across it. She also noticed that the papers in front of him seemed incredibly dull. No wonder he’d been bored. “What brings me here?” she repeated, considering the answer herself. “Would you believe me if I claimed that I had this overwhelming desire to visit my favourite professor?” Even as she asked the question, she was quite certain of his response. As soon as Jaslene opend her mouth Ted smiled she was till the same little girl who gave him grief. "Oh nobody could forget you.. i just couldnt see your face" Ted said with a smile even i she was a bit moody in a way Jaslene felt like a sister to him, well not exactly a sister.. he wasnt sure what it was but he cared about her.. maybe it was just because he had seen her from a little girl into well.. the teenager she was now. He shook his head in disagreement as she said she meant so little to him. "Your joking right, little jaslene malfoy.. well not so little any more.. dont tell your sister but you were my favourite" he then gave her a wink, maybe it was because she was older then her sister but Jaslene had always been Teds favourite of the malfoy girls, she was.. entertaining even if she was in a mood with you.
"It wasnt that hard, theres only one little blond girl i let boss me around" he said with a smirk, even though he had been older then Jaslene she had always kind of taken charge.. or at least she had believed herself in charge as he would do stuff she told him to or if he thought it was a bad idea he would convince her it was her idea not to do it. Then it came to the part he was actually woundering, what was it that Jaslene was doing in his office. "No i wouldn't beleive you if you said that, but if im your favourite professor then im flattered" he said with a smile, she deffinetly knew how to suck up to people.

YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF JASLENE MALFOY PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE LEAVE ME ALONE “Well, you say that. But if you managed to recognise me as easily as you claim, then I’ll have to conclude that my brainpower exceeds your own. Especially in the memory department.”
She didn’t completely believe that he had recognised her immediately. “And besides what kind of excuse is that? Next you’ll be telling me you can’t see the door.” She scoffed at his pathetic attempt to explain the reasons behind his lack of acknowledgement at the moment she first appeared. If he attempted to defend his earlier excuse again, by claiming that he couldn’t see the door either, she’d know for certain that he was either teasing her or outward lying. And as far as she could recall, there were no previous circumstances in which he’d lied to her. Of course, she could be labouring under a false impression, but it was a nice feeling to have inside, thinking that there was at least one person who had never knowingly lied to her. That had to be a rare thing nowadays. Adults seemed to have the absurd idea that they were doing it for the other person. Something that was a lie in itself. Her eyes reached the ceiling in response to his question, “Do I look like I joke regularly?” she replied, in a deadpan voice. She couldn’t remember purposely joking with someone recently. But if she wasn’t being totally serious in this situation, that implied a somewhat teasing tone instead, right? “And I’m not little anymore,” she stated, “You might be taller than me, but I’m not as young anymore. I’m not little. I’m merely…petite.” Oh, wasn’t that a clever ending? She didn’t think of herself as short though. Being a relatively short height at just 5’6”, other people were just taller than her. She was a perfect size. It was weird to compare herself in height to him now. In all her memories, he had been significantly bigger. But then she had been incredibly small as a younger child, perhaps why she wasn’t all that tall even now. But who really cared about height? She was perfectly content with the height and weight she maintained. “And I’m always the favourite sister. Pandora lacks sass. Her head is in the clouds half of the time.” She loved her sister, of course, but the younger Malfoy was slightly odd at times. She hardly ever understood her sister’s thoughts. They were often at the opposite end of the scale compared to her own. She couldn’t decide whether she’d like having Teddy as her Charms professor. On one hand, it might be slightly weird and awkward, but then could it really be much worse than having your own mother as the teacher? She seriously doubted it. Part of her curious nature wondered as to how their teaching styles would differ. “I wouldn’t have believed you if you’d told me earlier that you wanted to be a teacher here,” she replied honestly. She still couldn’t see the attraction. “I thought you’d have favoured a job in Hogsmede. I hear the owner of Honeydukes is rather nice” she commented, unable to stop herself from smirking at this comment in his direction. “I wouldn’t get that excited, Teddy. You’re one of the only professors I like. That’s to say, I used to like.” She grinned, flicking a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear. “I suppose whether you are my favourite professor remains to be seen. There are many things I’d need to consider. Like where you stand on homework.”[/blockquote][/blockquote] AND LEAVE TEARDROPS EVERYWHERE I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS AND LEAVE TEARDROPS EVERYWHERE DREAMS GET REAL BIZARRE •tags• theodore remus lupin •status• complete! •comments• none to speak of. •word count• five-eight-eight. •lyrics• FIREFLIES by OWLCITY. •credit• AMANDA THE PIRATE * @ CAUTION !

"Oh Jazzy you always know how to put someone in there place dont you?" he said with a smirk, she had always been like that for as long as he could remember, a sassy little girl who could make people do anything she wanted to and if they didnt they had made a powerful enemy.. or at least it felt like it was a powerful enemy even if she had been just a little girl. Ted smirked and simply said "What door?" he would love to see what she would say about that she would probably say soemthing sarcastic or just have a go at him, and for some reason because it was Jaslene doing it it was fine by him.
"Well weather you do joke or not depends on what your definition of a joke is" he said with a small nod pretty sure she would have to come up with something smart to come up with a comeback to that and as he was a teacher in a way he felt like he was doing his job. "Nope, little Jas has grown u into the beautiful young woman who stands before me" he said with a smile looking her up and down. "There a lucky boy in your life yet?" he asked curiously, he would deffinetly be interested on who had managed to tame Jaslene or who she had as a pet. "Don't talk about your sister like that, i know you both love each other realy.. and i used to walk around with my head in the clouds when i was younger too" he still did sometimes.
"Its a job isn't it, beats living with my grandmother living of junk food and the most exercise i get is finding a remote for the tv doesn't it?" he said with a smirk remembering most of his teenage days when he wasnt at Hogwarts he would just lounge around the house in his pj's and have a panic attack if someone came to visit. He was pretty sure nearly everyone he knew had seen him in his pjs at one point.. except his students and some of the other professors of course. "This jobs fine by me.. and she is nice.. verry nice" he said with a smile thinking but then he had to pull himself back to earth before he drifted off into a day dream. "Well im glad you used to like me then.. and homework, well.. written home works a no go but i might set things like practice this from time to time.." he said with a nod, when he was at hogwarts he had learnt absolutely nothing from written homework. YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF JASLENE MALFOY PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE LEAVE ME ALONE A swift smile appeared across her features as he used his childhood nickname for her. “Of course,”
she replied, offhandedly. “I learnt from the best...” Most people would have probably assumed that she was talking about them. As Ted knew her all too well, she wasn’t really expecting him to think the same. “…My father.” She concluded shortly, grinning at her comment. If he was as wise as most teachers at this school imagined themselves to be, he’d have realised at once that this was not a compliment to him, as it might have previously seemed. She was never the type to give people direct compliments. It just wasn’t in her nature. That didn’t mean she had no other way of showing her love or appreciation for people however, as some people seemed to think. “Hah, funny, Teddy. Not. You know as well as I do that the door is plainly located in the doorway just a few metres from where you are currently sitting.” She crossed her arms, looking around the office once more. She still couldn’t get her head around how different everything looked. It was a strange situation. To think, only a few weeks ago, her mother would have been rushing in and out, and instead he was relaxing and daydreaming about Honeydukes’ workers. Rolling her eyes again at his reply, she laughed. “Now you’re turning all witty teacher on me?” she inquired. Noticing his rather smug and complacent expressions that followed, she crossed her arms. “I bet you’re really proud of that remark, aren’t you? But, seeing as you pride yourself so much in that answer, I’ll agree that you might be right.” There was no admission that he was right. That was the closest anyone got to her agreeing with him or her. It meant a lot coming from her. “So I’ve been told,” she responded, after his comment about her growing up. “By too many people. I sometimes wonder whether they think I haven’t noticed this for myself.” His next question about boys was rather unexpected. Slightly taken aback by this sudden change in subject, she paused before slowly giving an answer. “Oh, millions,” she replied, rather sarcastically. “I particularly enjoy the company of one Trevor Schumacher. I’m sure he’s a personal favourite of your own also.” It was getting to a point where even she was wondering whether her sentences could contain any more sarcasm. “It is a job, yes, well done for realising this,” she agreed slowly, wondering what his actual point was. “Even if you stayed with your grandmother, you didn’t have to eat rubbish. Besides I’m now sure you’re over exaggerating. I’m sure your life before Hogwarts wasn’t that bad. There’s no need to turn it into a life-changing event.” She still failed to see how he was happy with his current job. Maybe it was the fact that he was able to be around the places he had grown up in. Although she could see the appeal of such employment merely for that reason, she didn’t think it an ideal job. It was fine for people like her mother and Ligasto whatever-eo, due to their obsessive personalities, but for the average normal person, other everyday careers seemed much more preferable. ”Well, if you’re happy with it, I suppose it can’t be all that bad..” She broke off, noticing that he had fallen into another daydream. At first, she’d been joking. But now she realised that there was some truth behind that matter. “Eerch.” She stated simply. “Don’t turn all romantic lover on me. I will be forced to hit you.” She didn’t appreciate people who flaunted their ‘love’ and relationships for all to see. She didn’t want to know. Ted smirked and nodded at what she said "Your father never did like me..." he said holding back a laugh nearly every time he went around to the malfoys he would get yelled at for one reason or another. Ted hadnt thought for one second she had meant him when she had said i learnt from the best, but he knew Jaslene and he was kind of used to her habits, one was not complimenting people directly, when it came to Jaslene you had to kind of find your own compliments. "Jazzy, you just cant take a joke can you" he said with a smirk, she had always been the one to not take jokes as jokes.
"Witty yes, teacher.. not so much" he said with a smile, being with 'Jazzy' brought back memories of 'the good old days' without the worries of paying rent and jobs and tax and all kind of adult stuff which gets on your nerves. "Coming from you im just going to take that as a compliment" he said with a smirk as she said he might be right, she would never say someone was right.. thinking back he was sure she never actually said she was wrong. "Of course you've noticed but.. it only seems like days ago where you would be on my back yelling 'go right' or 'faster'" he said with a smile. Ted knew she was being sarcastic when she mentioned someone called trevor, he wasnt sure he knew the trevor guy.
"You wont understand it untill you've left Hogwarts Jas.. so.. dont try, enjoy this place while you have it" he said with a nod looking around the room. "It isnt that bad" he said with a nod then smirked when she said he was going all romantic lover "No.. me and her.. no.. plus if i was my hair would be red" he said turning his hair red for emphasis. YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF JASLENE MALFOY PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE LEAVE ME ALONE It seemed that he didn’t know her as well as she thought. He was fooled by her claim, even if it was just for those few seconds. Yet, she supposed most people would be eager to believe that the person would be complimenting them. It was probably a small part of everybody’s personality, to want to be complimented. “I’m sure my father doesn’t dislike you, Teddy.”
Although it might have seemed as though she was attempting to modify the truth in order to make him happy and tell him what he wanted to hear, she believed her own words. “He’s just a very emotional man. And highly protective of his daughters. God forbid anything should happen to me or Dora. There’d be mass-murders before the morning.” When Jaslene admitted that her father was emotional, she wasn’t joking. Unfortunately for most, Draco was also quick to lose his temper. And as Jas had inherited a few of these traits from her dear father, it was safe to say that these occasional situations were quite scary. However, he was getting better. Her mother seemed to have calmed his disposition slightly. “I’m sure he appreciates everything you’ve done for us.” “I suppose it would depend on your original statement, philosophical as it was. It would depend on what your definition of a joke was. I personally don’t share the same kind of humour as most people near my own age.” Most other sixth year and some seventh years had accused Jaslene of the same thing, all claiming that she couldn’t take a joke. She didn’t like their stupid jokes. Why would she want to accept them? She didn’t care what they said anyway. If she found something genuinely funny, she would laugh. It was as simple as that. At least one would know when something was actually funny. There was no sympathy or pity laughs or whatever other kinds of fake laugh that everyone else employed. “You think you’re witty.” She corrected his sentence. “And one would hope that you view yourself as a teacher, otherwise how will students learn to accept you as one?” It was a good question. One that had entailed a great deal more thought than she usually put into most conversations. He obviously still had the ability to inflict good thoughts into her head. Maybe having him as her new Charms professor wouldn’t be that bad at all. Despite how sarcastic her responses were and regretting them for a few minutes afterwards, it seemed to work to her desired effect. She envisaged there would be no further inquiries into her love life for a while. “I think we should neglect to mention that to other people though. That image, as lovely as it is, does no credit to my reputation.” Apparently she’d understand soon enough? That sounded like a phrase her mother would use. “I’ve still got the majority of two years left. That’s enough for anybody,” she said shrugging. She couldn’t see the ‘wonders’ of the castle for herself. Sure, on some days, some parts of the castle grounds were positively stunning. But in the winter months, and when she was stuck inside stuffy classrooms, doing subjects she didn’t care about, she couldn’t wait to be out in the real world, starting her proper life. “You can deny it, but you practically admitted it before.” She laughed at his last comment. Personally, she would have been mortified if something that obvious was to happen to her everytime she was interested in a guy. Not that it happened that often anyway. She wasn’t interested in idiots like the ones they seemed to breed at Hogwarts. Ted smiled as she said she was sure her father didnt dislike him. It wasnt actually that which made him smile, it was the fact she had called him Teddy.. just like old times. "Well he certainly isn't my best friend" Teddy said with a nod that was one thing that would never happen, Ted dint mind Draco that much but he would rather send time with someone else. "I think every father is protective of there children" he said with a smile, he deffinetly knew if he had a child he would kill for them, because that was just the kind of person he was, he would want the best for his family. "Well im sure he does" Ted said not realy wanting to talk about Draco anymore as he would soon run out of things to say.
"Now who's the smart one?" Ted said with a , she did sound verry intelligent. He could understand how Jaslene would only laugh if she found something generally funny. Ted was the opposite, he would laugh at silly things like someone farting or burping. Ted decided to ignore the fact she 'corrected' him and he just smirked when she said people would hope he see's himself as a teacher "Well for now im off duty" he said with a smirk, he only realy went into 'teacher mode' when he was actually teaching a lesson or doing a detention with someone.
"Your reputation doesn't sound that good to be honest" he said, he had over heard people talking.. ok he would nosey in on students conversations.. but he had heard some people talk about Jaslene, all they had to say were some nasty things. Then again Teddy had heard stories of her father so maybe it was a like father like daughter kind of thing. "You'll be wishing you could come back to your childhood one day" Ted said in a 'wait and see' kind of tone. "admit it deny it.. its all the same2 he joked with a smirk and smiled as she laughed, for someone so.. sassy she had a rather beautiful laugh, shame hardly anyone would hear it.

YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF JASLENE MALFOY PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE LEAVE ME ALONE Shaking her head in mock disappointment at his response, she then proceeded with her line of argument. “My father doesn’t have best friends. The fact that he lets you anywhere near our family is a very good sign. I hope you feel special,”
she grinned, giving him a significant look. Even as he spoke those words about being protective of children, she couldn’t help but picture him as a father. It was a weird thought. She still couldn’t imagine it very well. She couldn’t imagine any person that immature and fun-loving being a father. Not that she had any doubt in his ability to be a good father. She couldn’t think of a better father figure. “Any child would be lucky to have you as their father,” she spoke quietly, but truthfully. As difficult as it was to imagine him as an older parent, there was no chance of picturing herself in the same scenario. She couldn’t imagine herself ever being a good mother. “You got me,” she admitted. “I’m not as stupid as I pretend to be. Such a shame though. The ditzy blonde act was really working for me.” Of course, this was all said in a sarcastic manner. Not only was she a strong believer in that image being stereotypical (not to mention wrong), but also she rarely came off seeming unintelligent. Sure, she might act in a way, which was not usually appreciated by many other people, or verbally abuse others, but it was all in good humour. She never tried to act dumb though. Only, well… stupid people would try and employ that particular technique. It just made you look weirder than before, trying to be something that you weren’t. She wasn’t going to try and deceive herself or anyone else by pretending to be something different. As far as she could see, brains were something to be proud of and cherish. Besides, if Hogwarts was anything to go by, amongst her peer group, they were in short supply. His comment, while it might have been more upsetting to other people, didn’t bother her as much as she might have thought. It was often one of the first things that people mentioned in passing. Apparently she’d changed significantly over the years, but she couldn’t see it herself. She couldn’t really remember a time when she’d been that different. Honestly, she really didn’t know what to say in answer to this claim. What did they expect? She couldn’t attempt to explain it. She didn’t need to explain it, maybe they were a bit surprised, but she had simply turned into a smaller version of her teenage father. It probably hadn’t helped her personality when growing up that her paternal grandfather was always controlling part of her behaviour. If anyone was to blame for how she turned out, it was him. She couldn’t see this herself though, personally she wasn’t sure that these people weren’t overreacting when they claimed she’d changed that much. This was just her, right? Unable to speak for the moment, she immediately shook her head again, her blonde hair falling in her eyes. “I don’t think that will ever happen. I can’t wait to leave. It might be true for other people, but I think we know that I differ from the average individual.” Hogwarts had served her well for the majority of her school life, but there was only so much a person could take. She wanted to enjoy the rest of her youth, somewhere far away and exciting. “And if you think denial and admission are the same thing, I’m afraid I’ll have to doubt the rest of your philosophy. Say what you want, I’ve already worked it out. It’s a bit late to start covering your words now. Besides, I know you too well. You can’t hide anything from me, Lupin!” Merlin, that sentence brought back so many more fresh childhood memories. An all too familiar phrase. Returning to answer his original statement, she pouted slightly, “My reputation suits me though, wouldn’t you say? It’s what everyone thinks of me, why attempt to change that? I’m happy to let them think whatever they think.” She couldn’t see the problem herself. Let them think what they would. Even if she changed, there would still be a mixture of attitudes towards her – she couldn’t just change overnight. And more importantly, she was content with her current standing in life. “It’s not all bad. I have all the people I want. Why would I want to associate myself with other people who go out of their way to annoy or make up rumours about me?” She knew most of the rumours that followed her, resulting in very different attitudes from the male and female students. She raised an eyebrow. “Can you honestly say that you haven’t heard some of the malice that surrounds the general student population?” Yes, Lucius Malfoy had managed to install a real sense of suspicion into this young girl, she didn’t trust just anyone. But beneath this, she was still so vulnerable.[/blockquote][/blockquote] AND LEAVE TEARDROPS EVERYWHERE I'D LIKE TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE BURSTING AT THE SEAMS AND LEAVE TEARDROPS EVERYWHERE DREAMS GET REAL BIZARRE •tags• theodore remus lupin •status• complete! •comments• none to speak of. •word count• eight-four-three. •lyrics• FIREFLIES by OWLCITY. •credit• AMANDA THE PIRATE * @ CAUTION !

Teddy nodded he knew she was right but a little recognition would do no harm and that was all Theo realy wanted, some recognition. "I guess your right" Ted said with a shrug, he figured he should be happy just to be trusted slightly by Draco, as he isnt going to get anything else from him. Ted smiled as she actually complimented him, it wa a rare thing he knew that and she could probably tell he knew tat from the smile on his face "Thanks Jazzy" he always had wanted children, not yet.. but someday, when he found someone he wanted to settle down with.
Ted smirked at her sarcasm, she was always using sarcasm, it didnt take a genius to know that. "Well i think you make a cute little ditsy blond" he told her, joking of course, he liked Jaslene as she was even if she was a sissy sarcastic Slytherin. "Well i guess you know what you want then.. good for you" he said with a nod about her wanting to not come back to Hogwarts when she left. Ted smirked as she spoke not because she was questioning him but of all the memories that came back as she spoke. "Well i cant try, Malfoy" he said with a smirk, he could hide things from her if he tried hard enough.. or made it seem like it was something she didnt want to know.
"Well i think your reputations a lot badder then you actually are, theres a little sweetheart in there somewere" Teddy said with a smirk, he knew she could be nice if she wanted to be she had already said he would make a good dad, or something along those lines. "Don't worry your little socks off, theres not that many rumors, or at lest i havent heard any, plus you got me, you can always trust me" Ted said with a smile he felt that if she ever needed him he would be there.
