Transfiguration - Homorphus Charm-( Closed)

Instantly the blinds fell down to cover the bright light that penetrated through the stained glass windows to allow the darkness to overcome the light that had once filled the room with joy. Straight after the blinds had dropped and darkness had overcome the classroom, with a swish of a wand candles had filled the classroom which provided only the necessary light needed to fill the classroom. The quick moving Ligasto stormed his way in and stood in the front of the class standing next to his table. Here his eyes scanned the classroom waiting for the students to arrive. In the meantime, he made his way to the board and started to get prepared for the class.

Homorphus Charm

A charm used to transfigure an Animagius or transformed object or human into its original stage.

After which he stood back in front of the classroom with his wand ready for class with a frown on his face with his black robes that seem to have blended in with the darkness of the classroom. Where are these fools? This is waiting my time. He said to him self as he waited for his students to arrive so that he may get started on his assignment that was given to him.

Chris was lying in his bed sleep, he had been reading but he had drifted off to sleep, his eyes fluttered open as he looked at the clock on the wall "CRAP IM LATE!" he yelled jumping up and grabbing some books not even sure if they were the ones he needed. He had to be in his transfiguration's class which was one of his favourite classes, he liked the subject because he found it interesting to turn things into something and he was especially interested in turning himself into something although he was unsure whether he would ever do it, he didnt know how. He also liked the teacher who was the head of dueling club which was something he was verry interested in.

"Sorry im late sir" he said rushing into the room looking around to see that nobody else was there either im later then i thought or that clocks still playing up he thought sitting down a the back waiting to get addressed to by the teacher, the teacher was also one that wouldn't take any crap which Chris respected him for. I so should have made sure on a different clock that i was late he thought making a mental note to do so in future. That was when he noticed the board his eyes fell on one word in particular 'Animagus' thats what i want to be he thought but knew it was realy not going to happen any day soon.

" Stupid Child!" He screamed breaking the school rules of degrading a student. Ligasto believed that sometimes you had to break the rules in order to achieve your goals. "Sit there!" he said asking the student to move closer to the front of the table. On closer examination of the student Ligasto had noticed that he was a prefect. " Oh dear a prefect are we? This isn't a good look on your profile." He said with an evil smirk with a small giggle on the end. "Perhaps I am to charm your book into screaming your lesson times Mr Weasley?" he said sarcastically. He was so tempted to cuss his head off right now although he stopped himself as the student was still early for class and had no crime to pay. Although he had a hard time showing it, Ligasto had liked how this boy was early to his class. It showed dedication and commitment to achieving one's goals. Perhaps this boy will do for my assignment? No, wait I should still search around to perhaps fine that special person. He said to him self as he glared at the young boy who had a look that seemed he had just woken up.

" I assume you have brought the necessary equipment needed today?" Ligasto asked with a hoarse as he examined an empty table of just books. He raised an eyebrow at him and took a step closer toward him. Weirdly enough, he had given the child permission to obtain the required equipment as he was 25 minutes early. " I suggest that you go back to your common room and obtain what is needed for this lesson that is an animal transformed into a goblet. You are required to produce this object for today's lesson." With a small smirk on his face he took a step back. " I warn you, that if you are EVER late for my class, I myself shall break rules that prevent us of using transfiguration on a student. Got it?" he said with an angry voice emphasizing on the word ever.

He took a small gasp with eyes that glared at him that seem to never blink at all. " Mr Weasley it is aware to me that you are of 6th grade and by now I am sure you have had many battles but I would like to know if you wish to join the dueling club of Hogwarts?" he asked with a straight face that was always frowning. Ligasto had rarely offered a position in the dueling club. The tradition was for student to try out and hopefully with their luck join the dueling club which Ligasto had been head of. " It's your opportunity to shine amongst the others." He said with an evil smile which was more creepy as he was a teacher.

Victoria could hear yelling coming from the Transfiguration classroom, and she had only just walked into the corridor on which it could be found. There were only a handful of students that could turn up so early to a lesson and be yelled at. If she were to walk in as she was, with only a book and her wand, she would almost certainly recieve the same treatment. 'What is needed for this lesson that is an animal transformed into a goblet.' Huh? They normally did the transforming of the animal, but she wouldn't mention anything to this particular teacher.

Stopping a few metres from the door, she flicked her wand once at a mousehole, and sure enough, a small little white mouse came running out of it. 'Fera Verto!' Vicky concentrated on the spell, before the mouse stopped and swirled up to form a silver goblet. Proud of her work, she picked it up from the floor and walked into the classroom, and moved towards the desk in the far corner. She put the goblet, her book, and her wand on the table before sitting down. She just hoped that the Professor's ranting at Chris would've given him enough satisfaction that nobody else fell victim to his yelling.

"Sit at the front here!" Ligasto ordered as she watched the Gyffindor student walk in. Normally Ligasto is a friendly person if you catch him on his good side today there was an obvious difference to his attitude and mood. Two student early, great show. He said to him self as he was rather pleased with the amount of enthusiasm of the two students even with the screaming they had to take. His head moved slowly back to face the Slytherin student to whom he had not finished screaming at. Once locked onto the boy's eyes, Ligasto took a deep breath and with his normal frowning face screamed yet again at him.

If the rule of cussing had not been in place, F bombs would of been flying everywhere. " Why can't you be like this student here?" He asked with a large shout. " Look at how well she is prepared!" Ligasto said pointing his wand at the equipment the other student had. Angry enough as it was, Ligasto for some odd reason had instantly calmed down.

"Now please turn to page 24 for reference to the Homorphus Charm." He said in a calm voice, soothing voice. With a flick of his wand and a certain confusing flourish and a mutter of a few words in Latin, a goblet appeared out of mist. " Here use this for today." He said as he stood back in the front of the class. "Come prepared next time please." He said as he made his way from the front of the class to the Gryffindor student. "Little miss." He said looking at her." What is your name please? I must check you off my list." He said as he scanned her face trying to remember it in the future.

Victoria rolled her eyes as the Professor told her to go and sit at the front. Pushing her seat back from the table, she picked her wand, book, and goblet up from the table and walked over to the second row. She wasn't about to sit on the front row unless she found the teacher attractive, which wasn't the case with this one. Having not bothered to tuck her previous chair under, she put her things down on the desk and sat down there instead. Did it really matter where she sat?

She'd have come out with something like 'Yes Chris, look how well I'm prepared.' had she not been reluctant to recieve a wave of his shouting. This one obviously didn't know that the students didn't mould to the teacher, the teacher moulded to the students. That was just an unwritten rule that most students agreed with. After all, it was far easier for one teacher to change as opposed to countless students.

Was she late? Damn, she should have really checked the time more often? And now she wasn't entirely sure whether she was late or not. Where was that watch when you needed one? Why was it things were never with her, when she needed them and only the next day, when she didn't? Finally, finding another watch on a sleeping Slytherin's arm, she realised she was no better off, having left her only copy of her timetable upstairs, in a copy of Advanced Potion Making. Deciding against going back to collect it, she deemed it a better idea to rush along the school's corridors, in the hope that she wasn't late at all. It was a miracle that she had remembered to bring the previous mouse-shaped goblet with her, that she transfigured the same morning.

Approaching the classroom, she was a bit surprised, to say the least, to hear the voice of the professor, shouting in high tones. What had happened? Stepping into the classroom, she frowned, surveying the room. There were very few other students indeed. Surely this meant she wasn't late? Given the noise she had heard outside, she walked towards the middle of the room, feeling quite glad that she had remembered all of the necessary equipment for the day's lesson. "Erm,"

[/color] she said aloud, as though to announce her presence. "Where should I sit?"[/color] she asked, whilst indicating to the many seats surrounding her.

Chris did as he was told and moved closer to the front and just didnt say anything as he was getting yelled at. That was when he found out he needed an animal that was transformed into a goblet CRAP! i knew i forgot something he thought getting up then he heard Ligasto's offer b]"I would be honoured, now.. i'll be right back"

[/b] he then speed walked out of the class, passing Vicky on the way out. He rushed to the Slytherin common room and sat outside a mouse hole he knew had few mouse's, using part of chocolate frog to bate it out he grabbed it. "Fera Verto" he said pointing his wand at it and hoping for the best, it turned into a goblet YES!! he thought jumping up and rushing back to the class.

He rushed back and sat down without anyone realy noticing him as Jaslene had asked a question, he then turned to the page he had been told to and waited there for further instructions Stupid Vicky with her perfect equipment and perfect goody two shoes attitude he thought looking at the goblet that now sat on the desk next to the book.[/blockquote][/size]

"Miss Malfoy please take a seat next to this student here." He said as he directed his attention away from the other students and directed it toward her with his wand pointing toward Victoria. He had ignored the fact that Christopher had left the room and started with the class. "Now Miss Malfoy, I must warn you that I will not tolerate lateness in my class do you understand me?"He asked with his voice building to the climax of anger. Ligasto never liked lateness and time seem to have flied with the other two student doing their own things and being screamed at. His eye's caught contact with the other students around him. This seems to be enough to start the lesson. He said to him self as he stood in front of the class.

"Now let's begin."He said with his wand ready and the goblet on his desk still slightly twitching. "Now, who where can tell me how this charm is used and the flourish needed to do so if any?" He asked looking around with his eyes scanning each and everyone one of them. Yes, that's good. Start off small then grow big and strong. he said to himself just noticing he didn't really make much sense then. " Would anyone like to answer or shall I pick at random?" He asked knowing that he would pick Miss Malfoy to answer the question as he kept constant eye contact with her.

It seemed she was late, then. But from the tone of the professor's voice, it was difficult to tell whether he was angry, or whether he just liked this volume and had decided to mediate there, for a while. Giving a small nod, she sat down in the designated spot. She set up all of the instructed equipment, and turned to face the adult. Although, she really didn't understand why they needed to be placed by him. What did he think would happen by letting them be seated in their own desired places? It seemed she didn't understand very much of his behaviour. A small sigh escaped her lips as she gave indication of having heard his small lecture about being late to his lessons. "I understand."

Did he have a problem with her already? Did he have some sort of prejudice towards her, before even teaching her? Or was this some sort of punishment for being slightly late? She didn't know, but the eye contact was rather scary. She didn't want to be his central focus. Why couldn't he take out his issues on some other person? She considered his questions. Did she really want to answer the first one? Of course, she was quite confident that she knew the answer, but she was all for letting someone else answer, if they wanted to. She wasn't one to deny others from learning, after all. [/blockquote]

Chris paused at his question unsure what the answer was, he knew it he was pretty sure he had read it a few days ago before heading into the forbidden forest but he couldnt remember mainly because he went into the forbidden forest after reading it, if i hadnt gone in i would know the answer he thought but he noticed the teacher was looking at Jaslene maybe hes going to as her he thought but decided he needed in answer in his head just incase.

flourish needed, flourish needed, flourish needed he repeated over and over in his head does it even need flourish.. what does he mean by flourish! he thoght but throughout racking his brains he manged to look surprisingly calm and collected. nope i dunno, i did, but its gone, i'll be kicking myself later he thought waiting for someone to answer.

Kaleb threw back the bedcovers and pushed himself out of bed. He checked the clock on his bedside table. He was appaled to see the time, he had been lazy this morning! "Good job it's a saturday then, isn't it!" he said to himself, deciding to give himself five more minutes in bed. He lay back and closed his eyes, taking in some deep breaths. It was in that moment that he remembered something very important. "Not Saturday! Crap!" He yelled out aloud, jumping from the bed and pulling on his robes.

He sprinted through the common room and down the halls, stopping only once to check his timetable. Tranfiguration. He remembered that he had homework for that, so he stopped by the kitchens and grabbed a mouse from there, as he knew that there were allways a few scuttling around. He quickly preformed the spell. "Fera Verto" He muttered, and the mouse transformed into a perfect goblet. Though it didn't seem like it, Kale was a really smart guy, and good at his lessons when he wanted to be! He filled the goblet up with some butterbeer from the house elves, thanked them, and went on his way. He headed to the transfiguration rooms and stopped outside the door. He ran his hand through his hair to check he looked allright, then, once he had caught his breath, he pushed open the door to the room and walked in, whistling. He saw the look on the teachers face, and he did not look happy! "Uhh yeah, I'm late, sorry about that, I stopped off to get you a thank you drink, you know, thank you for putting up with Weasley!" He said to the teacher with a smirk, holding out the transfigured goblet to the teacher.

Ligasto flamed up to see such rudeness done right in his face. His breathing got deeper and the only thing stopping him from cussing was that there were other students in the class and the rules which had never stopped him before from cussing. " You STUPID child! He screamed with a lion's roar. His eyes filled with anger as he started down the student. Still angry and frustrated with the rudeness, his head had started to fill with anger and let it all out verbally rather than magically.

"How F****ING rude are you!" He screamed ignoring the cussing rule that the Headmistress had told him. " Sit here and shut up!" he said as he threw his hand across his face just missing it by a few millimeters in an attempt to throw away the drink that he had been offered. Still frustrated and flaming, he made his way back to the front of the classroom and glared at the new boy that walked in.

"What's your name?" He shouted yet again before taking out his quill. "How dare you walk into my class thinking your a hot shot and offering me a drink that could of been poisoned. Who do you think you are just walking into my class with out knocking or providing a late note to show that you were late for a reason. " He said before taking another gasp of air to continue with his screaming. " Not all of us have time to pass by and get a drink young sir!" He screamed as he then directed his attention to everyone in the class.

"Let this be a warning to all of you, if you are ever late to my class, I shall personally make sure you will be here whether you are sleeping or awake." he said as he stared at each and everyone of them. Ligasto certainly had mood swings today which was obviously sen in this lesson. "Now boy, answer my question!" He said as he thought of an even harder question to ask the boy.

" Who had created the Homorphus Charm and when was it created?" Ligasto asked hoping he would get the wrong answer so that he would once again scream his head off. " And to the other student, answer the previous question I had asked you in your books now!" he said before placing his attention back on the new bow.

"Professor De `Santiago, you WILL NOT speak to students like that!" Hermione yelled from the doorway, the low buzz of chatter in the corridor falling absolutely silent. Having a free lesson often left the woman sitting in her classroom and marking work or tidying up, as she didn't like to lose a student's work. Keeping it in the classroom greatly reduced the area that had to be searched for the missing piece. Being only a floor above Ligasto's classroom, she had made her way down to see what all the fuss was about. He was a very loud teacher.

"Mr. Garcia was speaking to me about his Charms work as a matter of fact, and his being late is completely my fault. I suggested that he get you a drink as an apology, so if you must shout at anyone, let that person be me." Hermione added, deciding to cover up Kaleb's late arrival. She would of course have to speak to him about that later.

"There are policies in place for a reason, and you will go by them. As for the rest of you, you will get on with the work that Professor De `Santiago has set you, and you will not complain." She finished, the corridor outside now having emptied so as to avoid Hermione demanding that they hurry to their lessons.

Chris thought he was bout to see his first teacher vs Student fight when Hermione showed up "Spoil sport" he muttered looking down at his book but keeping his eyes on both the teachers. Stupid Kale and his bloody backup squad he thought woundering where Hermione had been when it was him that had been yelled at maybe i need to up my game some more he thought writing down the first thing that came to his head about the homorphus charm To use the Hormorphus charm you will need to have something you know is an animal transformed into something or an Animagus, if you use it on plain animal the spell shall do nothing Chris read it over then smirked sounds pretty intelligent to me he thought then looked over at Hermione and Ligasto.

If she didnt show up Kale would be so doomed, i wish she hadnt ruined things he thought then realised if he looked like he was finished he'd probably have to read out what he put so he pretended to continue to write stupid teachers ruining fun
