WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie threw back the covers and sat on the edge of the bed. Her eyes adjusted to the light and found the window. It wasn’t raining, which was a surprise! She half expected it to snow soon, but then she wasn’t even sure if she wanted snow, it was hard to fly in snow, as it froze you half to death! She stood up and rubbed her eyes, before glancing around to find her clothes. She slipped into her jeans and a grey top. Simple, but the top was thick, so it would keep her warm so she wouldn’t need a coat! Annie found her broom in her trunk, she’d been bought it by her parents as a congratulations present for making the team. Annie was beater, and it suited her well, as some said she had anger issues! She blamed the red hair, saying it made her hot headed. She didn’t like being angry, but when she got angry, she completely lost the concept of calm. She couldn’t handle people insulting her, that was one thing that made her angry. Especially if people called her ‘shortie‘.
Gripping the broom tight she headed out of the common room and down the steps. She had to fly today, as with the bad weather this past week she hadn’t much had the chance, and she needed to keep on top form for the next game! Besides that, flying made her feel free, defiant almost, as you were defying gravity! Annie loved breaking the rules, but hated being caught for it. She’d never break rules made that were obviously to keep her safe. Except going into the forest, she did that on occasion to spice up her life a little if she got bored! Before she knew it, she was in the entrance hall. She pushed the door open and made her way to the pitch. She hoped no one else was there, because she wanted some peace to come of this Sunday morning, because lessons were back the next day and she’d be stuck in stuffy rooms all day! She got to the pitch and saw it to be empty. A grin spread across her face, and she swung her leg over her broom. Annie kicked off hard from the ground, and the familiar feeling of freedom greeted her. The wind blew her fiery hair around her, but thankfully not in her way. Today was going to be a good one! Chris stumbled out of bed half asleep. Letting out a large yawn he found his robes and pretty much thre them on. I need to start going to bed earlier he thought to himself stumbling over to the mirror that hung on the wall. I look a mess he thought looking around for something to sort himself out with, it was a Slytherin Dorm so there was bound to be something, he managed to find a comb which had just be dropped on the floor in an already kind of messy dorm.
Running it through his hair he smiled There's the good looking Chris we all know he thought dropping the comb again and heading to his bed. He grabbed his broom then walked to the door. Turning back to grab the comb and pocket it Finders keepers he thought leaving the dorm and then walking through the dungeons and as soon as he got outside he began to fly toward the Quidditch pitch.
He noticed someone flying already, a girl. I do like a girl who can fly He thought to himself flying onto the pitch. He managed to fly pretty close to her without her even noticing him. "Hey" he said now revealing himself by flying right up next to her spinning his broom around so he was now face to face with her.

WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie’s mind was elsewhere, and she wasn’t even really concentrating. Not that she needed to, she was a pretty good flyer in her opinion. And according to her Quidditch team too! Her thoughts were on some flying book that she’d picked up in the library. It had some complex moves in it, like the Wronski feint, which was some seeker move where the seeker pretends to see the snitch or something. She’d been reading it one evening when she was meant to be doing homework in the library. Suffice to say that she’d been looking for a distraction and when the book caught her eye she was distracted alright! Though there were no good moves in it for beaters to pull off, it was an interesting book anyway! And it kept her from doing the essay for Professor Moore at least a little while longer! Not that she needed to put it off, as she was really smart and Potions was her strong subject. But it sounded so boring, to write a whole essay on some potion she’d never use anyway!
Annie sighed and flew a little more, but then a voice drifted into her hearing, and she nearly jumped. Her eyes fell on the face of the guy in front of her. ”What the heck do you think you’re doing? Did you want me to have a heart attack? Merlin!” She said rolling her eyes. Who the hell was this guy? Who did this guy think he was?! Annie rolled her eyes and turned her broom around so she was facing a different direction. Then she flew in that direction and a little bit away from him. She hated being physically close to people that she didn’t know. Had he never heard of personal space? Annie didn’t know who he was, but she knew one thing, he was not in Gryffindor, that was for sure! She’d have recognised him if he was a lion, and he didn’t seem the Gryffindor type either.[/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - -
Chris burst out laughing at the way she reacted to him "Sorry" he said through is laughs, he wasnt realy sorry and he was pretty sure this girl was in Gryffindor as hufflepuffs and ravenclaws probably would have reacted differently, and Chris hadnt seen her before meaning she most likely wasnt a Slytherin. Why dont people just wear there robes, it makes it easier to tell what house there in Chris thought to himself as he always wore his robes well.. unless he was going out into Hogsmeade or something.
"So fly much?" he asked curiously flying not too far away from her but enough to not make her feel realy uncomfortable. Chris decided it was time to try out some moves, so rather carefully he stood up and began to ride his broom more like a surfboard. It was harder then it looks but he had to learn it scince he saw the Australian chasers do it in one match. e had been impressed and he figured he could use it as a beater so it wasnt completely useless to him. WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie scowled as he laughed, but her smile pulled into a small grin. She bit her lip, as she’d noticed the sign on his robes, and it was a snake. Slytherin, should have guessed She thought to herself. She’d heard rumours about Slytherin. She’d heard that there was not a witch or wizard gone bad that wasn’t in Slytherin, which said a lot for the house! She had a natural prejudice to Slytherin, as she was a Gryffindor, and they were expected to hate the snakes. ”yeah, sure you are.” She said, rolling her eyes. How could he lie so blatantly to her? It was a trivial thing, sure, but the fact was that if you were going to lie, then at least do it convincingly! Wasn’t the whole point of lying to convince someone that what you said was true, and how could they believe you if they were laughing? She turned the direction of her broom again and began to fly away from him.
But apparently he wasn’t going to leave her alone so easily. She sighed and turned to face him. She pulled her broom up and did a loop-the-loop in the air before glancing at him. “I should think so, How else would I make the team?” She asked with a smirk. She was beater, and it was one of her favourite things to do at Hogwarts. She loved to fly, and she loved to play! She loved the competition, the way people got so competitive, and the way that the team were treated like hero’s every time that they won a match! Annie loved the fact that after a big match they’d have a party in the common room and everyone would get involved and have fun and celebrate the win! The way that Quidditch promoted team spirit and unity within the house, it was just awesome! And it gave them a reason to yell threats at Slytherin and claim it was all in the spirit of fun, when they were against them in a match! Annie’s eyes watched as he preformed a move worthy of a surfboard more than a broom. She had to admit, she was impressed, it had to take a lot of time to master that move. Although she didn’t show how impressed she was in her expression! She was too in control of her expressions to let awe slip past. [/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - -

"Oh come on it was pretty funny" he said smirking slightly he could tell this girl was going to be tons of fun.. well to annoy. Chris saw she was trying to fly away from him but nobody could get away from him that easily and she didnt managed to as he kept up with her with no problem at all. "Im guessing your a gryffindor because you clearly reacted when you saw my robes, wow and Slytherin are meant to be the prejudice ones.." he said with a small shrug, he couldnt help but think that Slytherin where probably the least prejudice, they picked on everyone including other slytherins.. if they were weak anyway.
Other houses tended to avoid slytherins just because they were slytherins. chris was kind of surprised to find out she was on the team. Wounder what position.. by the look of her i'd say a chaser he thought then returning the smirk said "Slytherin Beater, nice to meet ya" he knew it rhymed and he quiet liked to rhyme it was fun in a childish kind of wa but then again Chris could be pretty childish at times but he also knew when to be mature, this wasnt one of those times. WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie rolled her eyes. She didn’t know who the hell he thought he was, but frankly, she couldn’t care less. She carried on flying, turning randomly as if to shake him off, although she knew that it wouldn’t work, maybe he’d take the hint and leave her be. ”You have a warped sense of humour.” She said laughing. She wasn’t laughing at what had happened, she was laughing at the pathetic things he found amusing. She didn’t think it was funny at all, not a little bit! In fact, she could have fallen and then she’d have been screwed, because she could either end up dead, or maybe he would have done some amateur magic and saved her butt, leaving her with a few broken bones or something. He was just an immature Slytherin.
She kept her broom steady with her legs and clapped her hands, not battering an eyelid. When she was in a match, she frequently had to use a bat to hit the ball the other way, so she was used to flying with one, or even no hands on the broom. It was like second nature to her now, and she’d even learned to keep the broom just as steady as when holding on with both hands. ”Clever boy, and Slytherin are meant to be a lot of things” She said, swerving again slightly. She didn’t much like Slytherin anyway, because some of the rumours flying around, especially about kids in her year were not nice. She’d been told to avoid one of them, Kaleb someone, or something. He was the man-whore of Hogwarts, and she hated guys like that. Annie’s mouth pulled into a smirk when she heard the word beater. She’d even caught the crude rhyme and rolled her eyes at it, he was just proving his immaturity, nice. “Then you should know what position I play. Gryffindor beater.” She said, leaving the civility off the end. She didn’t think it was particularly nice to meet him, no matter how good a flyer he was. Although this gave her ample opportunity to check out her competition. This was the guy that she’d be against when the lions versed the Snake. The match was in the bag![/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - -

Chris could keep up with her easily as he had a little brother who was on the gryffindor quidditch team which meant there was a lot of rivalry especially when it came to flying at home they would constantly be like 'Race you to.. or bet you cant do this..' which meant the both of them had become pretty skilled flyers. "If you cant laugh at the little things then whats the point in a laugh" he said referring to his sense of humor.
Chris smirked when she said Slytherins were a lot of things "Yeah but im not completely like a slytherin, im more unique then you'll ever know" he said smirking slightly. When she revealed her position he couldnt help but smile slightly "Wow, so your the Gryffindor version of me huh?" he said with a laugh flying around her She doesn't seem that good of a beater, its in the bag this year he thought to himself "So your Gryffindors female beater.. hot" he said with a smirk, he had a thing for people or items he didnt realy have a chance with, it was fun and he could tell she was going to be one of these things, a girl who could fly, was a beater and hot.. whats not to like? WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie smiled, although he had made a good point, she had to make a better one. He kept up with her easily, and she was happy about that. She could easily fly so fast that he wouldn't be able to keep up, but she wasn't going to do that, no not in practice! She was saving her best flying skills for the match, and she was not going to show them all off so he knew what she could do, and worse, so that he would know what to expect! no, she was going to be smarter than that, she was going to restrain herself, so he thought the match for him was in the bag, then completely flatten him when they had to play against each other. And she hoped that was soon, because she wanted to wipe that annoying smirk from his face. “ The point of a laugh is to show your enjoyment of something. Now I don’t know about you, but I enjoy things more when I’m around people I like. “ She said, unable to resist jumping up and standing on her broom, carefully keeping balance. She swerved her broom around in a full circle, and ended back up in the spot that she had started, in full control! She sat back down careful not to fall, and began to fly normally again. Okay, so she’d save some of her talent for the match. Besides, he needed to know that there were people just as good, and in her case, better fliers than him.
Annie gave a sceptical look when he promised that he was not like a Slytherin. “Your in Slytherin house, that doesn’t make you like a Slytherin, it makes you a Slytherin.” She said, rolling her eyes. The hat got inside your head, it knew where you fit best, and it had put him in Slytherin, surely that was saying something! She clicked her tongue at his next comment. “Uh, no. I’d like to think that we are very much the opposites, actually” She said, hating the idea of being compared to a Slytherin. She was a Lion, she had some sense of pride! Her anger flared a little when he called her hot. Yes, so she was hot, she knew it and from any other student in any other house she probably would have been fine with it, but the fact that it was a Slytherin got to her. “Yes, I am. But unfortunately for you, you’re the wrong gender. I only go for men. Sorry, girlie” She said with a smirk. Now she was purposely confusing his gender, this would be interesting![/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - -

Chris laughed once again but this time it was at her smart ass comment about laughing. He was also not flying his best knowing that she was probably trying to test him as he was the opposition but he didnt realy concentrate on his flying as he was just flying rather casually. "Well you might like me if you give me a chance, which you wont because your stubborn" he said simply he'd love to find out what she would say about that as it was a pretty ownage comment.
"With an attitude like that im surprised your not a Slytherin" he said smirking knowing it would probably annoy the hell out of her. "Well opposites attract and thats not happening right now so i guess were similar" he said with a smirk knowing if she tried to say there different again he could bring out the 'opposites attract' thing again. "Oh hotty, im as manly as any man your gonna see, if you want evidence id be more the happy to show you" he said with a wink knowing he had bounced her insult back at her so it made it hard for her to say something. WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie smirked. Okay, so that was a pretty good comeback, but in all her years in Hogwarts, she’d became good at witty remarks also, and she was now bringing them into play. ” Stubborn, maybe. I’d say more smart. I know what Slytherin are like, there’s one old prime example, but I’m sure you’ve heard of him.” She said. She was obviously referring to the dark lord Voldemort, but he was a thing of the past, and she was sure that there were better examples of evil Slytherin witches and Wizards, She just couldn’t remember their names off the top of her head. Voldemort had terrorised the Wizarding and Muggle world when he was in power, causing chaos, destruction and death. She knew that there were probably some followers of his still alive, but she doubted that without their lord to guide them they’d be able to get up to much harm.
Annie scowled when he suggested she should have been a Slytherin. “Like hell would I join their ranks, I’d have to loose all self respect before I could make it in that house anyway!” She said with a smirk. She’d hate to be a Slytherin! They were hated by most of the school, and she had heard their common room was the coldest too, not surprising since it was meant to be in the dungeons! And with Winter rolling in it would be freezing down there. “Well there’s a simple explanation isn’t there? Whoever said that is a liar.” She said, a smug smile on her face. Oh she was good! But her smile dropped into a scowl again as he called her hottie. She looked thoughtful for a moment, then began padding her clothes dramatically, before holding her broom again. “Oh, I’m sorry, but I seem to have left my magnifying glass in one of my other outfits! I do apologise for the inconvenience” She said, rolling her eyes and flying away from him a little more to increase the gap. That was exactly what she meant by loss of self respect! Talking of flashing to some randomer who’s name he didn’t even know! How pathetic.[/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - -

Chris tilted his head to the side slightly as she mentioned one prime example "If your referring to voldemort i think you'd find my family helped put him down" Chris said expecting her to flinch at the word voldemort as he found a lot of people did even though he had been dead for some time. "So if you hadnt caught up by now im a weasley" he smiled slightly his family had quiet a reputation thanks to mainly his uncle Ron who helped Harry Potter or 'Uncle Potter' as he was known when Chris was younger.
"Self respect, i think you'll find Slytherin Girls respect themselves a lot" he said with a smirk he actually found it easier to go after girls in different houses then Slytherin as Slytherin girls were well.. not as easy as others. "Well Harry Potter ended up with Loopy Luna so i dont think tey were lying that much" he said with a small smirk. then he clapped when she said she didnt have her magnifying glass "Said like a true slytherin and honestly i dont know what boys you've been with but me well i could give myself a black eye if im not careful" he then smirked again he had heard that somewhere and it had always stuck in his head as something pretty funny. WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie flinched slightly at the mention of his name. She would try and call him Voldermort but the echoes of the pain that he caused still rippled through to that very day. Memories of the final battle, and the havoc and death that You know who caused still haunted those who had fought and survived. She was, she had to admit, a little shocked that he was a Weasley, it caught her off guard, and she lost all witty replies that she had been formulating. “You what? What happened to the red hair and the, the, the Gryffindor house tradition thing?” She asked, confused about what he’d said. She’d always thought that the Weasley’s had always been sorted into the Lion’s den! ”Oh, uh, I’m Carter, Annie Carter.” She mumbled, as she’d been thrown off and could think of nothing more to say. ”Your dad, he’s Ron?” She asked, wondering if she had that right. She knew that there had been other Weasley’s at Hogwarts at that time, but Ron was the main one that popped into her head. Annie rolled her eyes at his respect comment. Sure they did! HA! Slytherin chicks wouldn’t know respect if it hit them in the nose! “Yeah, sure, well not to the standard other houses do!” She said with a smirk. And that was true, she believed that Gryffindors had the most respect. Although she may have been classed as biased because she was one! She scowled at the name he’d given Luna. He was insulting someone who was just as brave as Harry the Gryffindor, especially insulting Harry‘s wife! That annoyed her. ”Watch who you call loopy, she fought alongside the others just as bravely as your parents did.” She said with a scowl. She hated people who insulted Gryffindors, and considering that Luna had married Harry, that practically made her a Gryffindor!, Her scowl remained as she witnessed him applauding her. “Well thank you, Yeah, turns out that impersonating a complete idiot isn’t as hard as it looks, but hey, maybe that’s because I have the perfect example in front of me to mimic.” She said, her scowl turning into a smirk. “oh yeah? Well if your not careful I’ll give you a black eye!” She said, rolling her eyes at him. God he was sure of himself![/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - -

Chris shook his head slightly at how she reacted to him being a weasley oh yeah that shut her up he thought to himself as he said "My hairs been dyed" he said flying away from hr slightly meaning she was now following him funny how things change he thought and continued his reply "And the Gryffindor thing, i havent got a clue that stupid hat ruined my life.. well it knocked it off track for a while anyway" Chris had slowly gained all respect back from his family they figured either the hat got it wrong or he just had a verry complex personality, it was most likely the last one.
"Well i'd say its nice to meet you Annie but sadly you ruined that" he said with a small shrug then shook his head when she asked if Ron was his dad "No he's my Uncle" he said simply not realy wanting to reveal everything to her as he didnt know much about her and she was learning a lot about him, almost too much. "whatever i dont care but the headmistress has a slytherin daughter so watch your back when you say stuff like that" he wasnt making a threat more of just a warning that if certain people heard her say that she was pretty much doomed.
Chris actually laughed at how she reacted to him calling Luna loopy, "You obviously have never spoke to her" he said simply, nearly all the weasleys called her loopy Luna and he had even heard Harry say it once or twice and Luna probably liked being called loopy as she did call herself loopy once when Chris had been messing around with a big hat and she ad warned him about weird dust monsters, his father had to convince him they wasnt real before he went back to Harry's again. WELL WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM? -you've got alot of nerve!- - - - - - - - - - - Annie nodded, as the hair dye thing made sense. She loved her fiery hair, and she wouldn’t want to change it! Although she did have blonde put in it on the tips, that was as far as she’d go! This was her natural hair colour, thanks to her mother’s side of things! She’d got her hair from her mother, and as far as she’d known most of the females in her family had been redheads. They were also some of the most feisty, hot headed people around! Annie’s temper was a major problem, because sometimes she couldn’t control it, and would get angry at the simplest things! She’d lost count of how many glasses had smashed in her house as a result of her temper! ”huh, woah, so you basically dyed away their trademark, bet they loved that!” She said with a smirk. She loved her hair, and the fact that it was a common trait in the women of her family was awesome, as it was like a link through the ages!
Annie realised that she was sort of moving alongside him now, so that when he flew away a little, she almost automatically copied his movements without thinking. ”Well it put me in the perfect house, although I did think that I’d be a Ravenclaw for awhile, cause I have the brains for that house!” She said with a shrug. She was smart, yes, but she tried to play it down a little sometimes, as she didn’t want to be seen as a complete dork, as that would go against what was expected of her! ”Well, I’m glad I ruined the highlight of your day!” She said with a smile. She didn’t really mean this, but maybe this would teach him to leave her alone! ”Uncle, ohh, right” She said with a shrug. The tone that he’d answered her in was sort of deflective, like he didn’t want to talk about it. ”Welll, I’m sure Hermione taught her daughter well, so she’s an exception to the low self respect thing.” She said with a small smile. Hermione, the headmistress was the wife of Draco Malfoy, and so Annie was sure the only reason that their kid was a Slytherin was because she was Draco’s kid. Annie nodded at his comment. No, she had never spoken to Luna, but she’d heard about how brave she’d been, and she’d even heard a rumour that Luna had been part of something called the DA, although that was just a rumour. ”No, I unlike you don’t know Luna, but then I’m sure if I did I’d treat her with a whole lot more of respect than you do. After all, it was because of people like her that Voldermort isn’t keeping the castle under his control now.” She said pointedly, purposely saying the dark lords name. This kid needed to learn some respect![/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - -
